  1. If you are going to move games between consoles, always save on your Flash Drive. For instance, when you put in a new game it will ask where you want to save. You choose the flash drive, that way if you take that game and your flash drive upstairs you will be able to pick up where you left off. If not, the saved data will be on the other console so you will have to start over again. If you've already saved a game, you can go under your system memory and you will see a folder for "Game Data". You can selected anything and "Copy" or "Move" it over to the flash drive. My advice is to "Move" it because keep 2 seperate files can sometimes create issues. Most of your save files are less than a few MB each, so you can fit a ton on a flash drive. Now, this doesn't cover other downloadable stuff. Thinks like DLC or Arcade Games or Even themes or anything like that can be saved on the harddrive and then downloaded at no cost on a 2nd Xbox as long as your gamertag is logged in. But you cannot download save files! And so, after carefull consideration last night on whether I should start Fable III or Halo Reach, I decided to play Fallout 3. Funny enough, a friend of mine bought the game of the year edition and I received the Platinum standard version for Christmas. He let me borrow his second disc which installs the DLC to see if it would work. So, I installed the DLC last night and then played from my standard retail disc and it worked like a charm. I got all of the DLC from the very begining, nice trick. So far, all I can say is Fallout seems very overwhelming. I'm sure it will become more familiar, but unlike Mass Effect which was also vast, I don't fell like I know what I'm doing. The go anywhere do anything type of gameplay is heavy. So far the story is cool, I'm only a few hours in, but I'm almost afraid to play with fear that I will never actually beat it, lol. I'm going to keep chugging along for a while and see what happens. As it stands I'm interested and enjoying it mostly, but right now it's just very daunting! On a final note, I put off playing Halo Reach because I haven't renewed my Gold yet. I'm planning to do that next month, so once I go Gold I'm going to be getting back into the Halo game! neo
  2. Well, if anyone has been listening, I've been addicted to Mass Effect 2. I finally finished the game on Saturday and was very satisfied. I've said it to several of my friends in passing, but it is now my Favorite game of All time, Previous to, it was Ocarina of Time, but I have to say that ME2 has taken that stop. So, not only is it my game of 2010, it's the game of my lifetime, and possibly my game of 2011......unless of course Mass Effect 3 does make it to retail. Fantastic game, cannot recommend it enough! Which brings me to, what's next?! I have both Fable III and Halo Reach that I received for Christmas. Those are next on my list, but I'm torn. I'm really excited about Reach, but after spending 42 hours in Space with the Normandy, I'm thinking Fantasy may be a nice change of pace. I guess we'll find out this evening . neo
  3. Pervert! you are coming across a little obsessed about getting it on in game! Yes there is a trigger point where Miranda (or anyone else for that matter) comes by to bump uglies. T. Ok, first, I've really got invested in the story of Mass Effect. I didn't play the first one long enough to form a romantic relationship so I'm just interested in where it goes. Second, she is voiced by Sarah from "Chuck" Yvonne whatever, so that makes me want to close the deal too. And thirdly, I've been married almost 10 years so get off my back . Anyway, needless to repeat, I'm still playing Mass Effect 2 heavily. I finished Shadow Broker DLC this weekend and it was really, really good! I'm still working on a few loyalty missions and knocking boots with Miranda () before hitting the Omega Relay and I'm still loving every bit of it. On the flip side, when the kids are around Mass Effect doesn't get a lot of play time so I've jumped back into Kingdom for Keflings which I still really love and find myself strangly addicted too. I want to pick up World for Keflings, but I figured I would finish the first game....first, I think that's how it's supposed to go! neo
  4. Well, I'm 20 hours into Mass Effect 2 and figured I was done. Actually, I just finished the mission aboard the collector's ship. Just when I thought we were hitting the finale, Illusive man gives me another fetch quest and opens up several new galaxies that I've never been too. I still have 2 members to recruit and several to earn loyalty......so I still gotta way to go. Now, this is in no way a complaint, the more Mass Effect the better! And I also got Miranda in bed, she is telling me know that she will "come by" when it slows down......DOES THAT HAPPEN!?! We are in a space fighting constantly being shot at, I don't think it slows down. Right after she told me this I went to my quarters and just waited for about 5 minutes, thinking I needed to trigger something. Then I got bored and wanted to shoot more stuff so I left. Knowing my luck we are going to get busy just before we jump the Omega 4 Relay and finish the game. Anyway, Mass Effect 2 = 2010 Game of the Year.........sorry Red Dead, a close second but second none the less! neo
  5. Oh yeah, X-Men Destiny sounds great. Activision also announced that NinjaBee will handle all of their future Spider-Man games, so I'm excited about their next game. As for Rage, wii, it was fun when it was Fallout 3....or Metro 2033.....or Borderlands.........or Fallout New Vegas.... Sorry, but I'm just kinda over with the Post Apocalyptic stuff. I'm not anti Rage, it's just I haven't seen anything too different that says "you have to play this game." I'll keep an eye on it, and at this point that's about all. neo
  6. Well, I thought I'd get us a topic on what games we see coming down the pipe. 2011 looks to be a GREAT year in games, maybe one of the best ever. Since we discuss what we ARE playing on the other thread, I figure this gives us a chance to discuss what we WANT to be playing. So, I'll get started. I have a HUGE list of what I'm looking forward to in the year, but I'll pick a few just to get started. First off, the 3DS. The hardware looks simply amazing and glasses-less 3D is awesome. Pit that together with Nintendo's own signature software (Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus, etc) and it looks like we are going to have a fantastic year. I've always been a handheld gamer and I've every Nintendo system and they still continue to dazzle me. I will say the biggest red flag to the 3DS right now is my iPhone. Never before have I felt that Nintendo had any competition until this generation and more specifically 2010-2011. I have found myself slowly not playing my DS, instead turning to my iPhone. With fun addictive games like Cut the Rope and Peggle and Angry Birds to full fledged games like Ultimate Spider-Man and Nova and then add the fact that my iPhone is ALWAYS by my side, you can see where I've wavered. However, as a gamer, at the end of the day I'm most looking foward to physical buttons. As convinent as it is to have my iPhone at my side ready to play, there is still something important to a hardcore gamer about tactile buttons. Add the layer of 3D which the iPhone cannot do and I believe I'm sold. Of course, at the end of the day it's going to be the software that will make or break the system. If I can pick up most of Gamelofts 3D adventure games or First Person Shooter games for $5 or $6 bucks, it's going to be hard to make the jump to a $40 game unless the content and 3D effect warrant the purchase. At this point I'm extrememly excited about the potential for the 3DS and already have it reserved.....but only the future will tell! Lastly, there are several key games that I'm really looking forward too. Mass Effect 3, LEGO Star Wars III, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, Skyrim and L.A. Noire. Mass Effect speaks for itself. I'm completely addicted to ME2, although I still haven't beat it yet. But I know I already love it and can't wait for more. Elder Scrolls Skyrim simply looks AMAZING. Oblivion was great and no one can deny the awesomeness of Fallout 3. The team is back with a brand new engine and it looks fantastic. I do much prefer the sword and fantasy setting to post apocalyptic shooter setting so this is right at the top of my list. Anyone that knows me, knows I love me some LEGO games. Clone Wars looks great and it will be fun to get my hands on a lightsaber again and I really hope for more flight combat this time around too, it's some of my favorite stuff from the series. However, Pirates holds the most interest for me. I grew up on the classic LEGO Pirates line, so this will be like my childhood come to life and I'm super excited. Finally, L.A. Noire. Rockstar always has an eye for something great. While they are not developing the game, their support goes a long way. The game looks really cool, I love the atmosphere stuff. I'm keeping my eye on it and hoping that it continues to impress. Best case senario is that we end up with 2011's Red Dead in the style of L.A. Noire........well, let's not count our chickens too soon! So, what about you guys, 2011 looks stacked. What's on the top of your list? neo
  7. Ah.....DC Universe, my one saving grace on the PS3.........that failed. There is no way that I would pay $15 a month to play a game. Not that I don't believe that it's probably worth the value, but I just don't have the time. Seriously, I try to squeeze out about an hour a day, not counting weekends which are normally filled with family. So, on a good week let's say that I get 6 hours a week. That's going to give me 24 hours in a month. The, be honest, DC Universe is not the ONLY game that I'm going to play. So, currently with Pac Man DX, Mass Effect 2, Pinball FX 2 and Comic Jumper all getting attention in my Playtime, you are looking at maybe 10 hours a month for DC Universe......that's more than a Dollar an hour and completely unpractical. Now, I've pondered picking it up with the first month free and then trade it in, but I don't want to invest a month and then leave. So, my final verdict is that I will wait, until it's free to play, because I have a strong feeling it will be. The game is not going to sell out of the gate and after the first month is over and people have to start paying they are going to drop off. At that point, because they've invested so much in the game, they will make it free to play thus bringing legions of fans and making more money they originally planned........which begs the question, why wait?! Oh, and as for me, I can't stop playing Mass Effect 2. It's phemoninal and may have taken over nmy #1 of 2010 from Red Dead......we'll see. neo
  8. Thanks!! I'm fixing to do Miranda's loyalty mission so I'm hoping to score some points . There is also an achievement for playing the game twice, so I'll give it another go later and maybe try something different. End of the day though, it will NEVER be Jack.....she scares me! neo
  9. I have a few Mass Effect 2 Questions, if anyone out there can try to answer. This is my first full Mass Effect Experiece and I'm wondering about the romantic interests. I guess my main question is can you have more than 1? For example, I'm interested in pursuing Miranda as my interest in the game I'm playing now, however my assistant lady "Chambers" keeps coming on to me. Can I pursue that relationship on the side or will that effect my relationship with Miranda as well. Any help would be great. Also....Mass Effect 2...........AWESOME. I haven't put another disc in my Xbox since Christmas! neo
  10. I have owned every version of the iPhone, currently I'm running an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.1. I have nothing but positive stuff to say about the iPhone. It is like an extension of my person and I would never at this point NOT own an iPhone. I cannot recommend it high enough!! Now, on the flip side, if you are looking to get into the smartphone game, I've heard a lot of good things about Windows Phone 7 and have managed to play around with several. I really like them, much more than any Droid phone. The best WP7 feature though is Xbox Live. If I was just getting into the game I think I would lean toward the WP7 (Samsung on ATT, HTC HD7 on TMobile). It would be worth your research, especially if you requent Xbox Live! neo
  11. Mass Effect 2, now I know why it's getting so much love for GotY. I played about half into the first game and just couldn't do it anymore. Everything that I disliked about the first game seems to have been addressed in grand fashion for 2. I know I'm a year late to the game, but I am totally into the Mass Effect world now and don't care to play anything else for the time being. Right now Red Dead is still my GotY.....but I got to be honest, if Mass Effect 2 continues to bring it there may be a changing of the guard! neo
  12. Let me start by saying you can't have your name in GOLD in 2 places at the same time, but you can have it on 2 machines at opposite times. There are only two ways to do this, and *SPOILERS* only one way to do it right. First, you can recover your gamertag on the 2nd Xbox....that will put everything on that box including your gamerscore and gold account. HOWEVER, once you go back to Xbox 1, you will have to recover there again, and then back to 2 you will have to recover again and...well....you get the point. This is NOT the recomendation!! The other way, and the way that I do it, is get you a small USB memory stick. I think your profile is just several MB (could be off by a little, but it's not much). Go to your memory and "Transfer" (not "Copy") your profile to the USB stick. This is basically your Live Identity wherever you go. Plug that USB into any Xbox and it will recongnize your Profile and everything that goes with it (Gamerscore, Live Account, etc.). This is what I have done for a few years. I have 2 good friends that have Xbox 360s and I was so sick of playing as a guest and not getting gamerscore when I was at their house, so I discovered this method. Now, I walk into their house, plug my USB into their Xbox and my whole profile pops right up. I also use this between the 2 Xboxs that I have in my own house. It's the only way to go! *EDIT* - Also, just in case it comes up, you can use almost any USB stick, not just the Xbox ones. I have a 4 GB I bought at Wal Mart for $10 and it works brilliantly! Now, back to what I've been playing, I hit the 20,000 mark last night with my gamerscore. Picked up a Mass Effect Achievement and a Comic Jumper Achievement. That was kinda cool. Now, I started Mass Effect 2. Right off the bat I do think it's quite better than 1. The gunplay seems a lot better. I never finished 1 because I just tired of the mechanics and wasn't having fun, but I'm going to force myself to finish 2 dangit! neo
  13. I paid $6 for it and I think it was worth it then, for $1 there is no reason not to buy it. The game is as cool as it can be with no controls. I will be the first to say the only thing the iPhone is missing are buttons!! But, that's a dead horse. The game is linear but in full 3D. The combat is really fun. There is a bunch of stuff to collect, and the voice acting is fantastic! It is probably my favorite 3D Adventure game on the iPhone and I would reccommend it to anyone. In fact, as soon as I saw it for $1 I text both of my cousins and they bought it that day. Both are enjoying it. neo
  14. Let me preface by saying it was a good Christmas! Uploaded with ImageShack.us This is the only pic that I took, but you can see that I got Halo Reach, Fable III, and Mass Effect 2 (I also got Fallout 3 later in the day). Pretty good haul, all very solid titles. I installed Mass Effect 2 last night. I'm planning to start that journey this afternoon. But, as for what I've been playing, I am still addicted to Pac Man DX and Pinball FX 2 and I also picked up Comic Jumper as part of the holiday sale and it's pretty fun. I love Twisted Pixel and will probably buy just about anything they make! All in all good times. I was planning to start Fable III next, but I want to get into Mass Effect 2, and since it's already a year old I think it's about time! neo
  15. First off, thanks for the tip. I've actually been thinking about picking up the LEGO Harry Potter game. I LOVE the LEGO games and now I have some Christmas gift card money to spend . I'll add it to my list....and I'm really hoping it does well because I want a LEGO Pirates iPhone game this year!! And, since we are talking about iPhone games, here is what my current real estate looks like: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us The last games I've picked up were Need for Speed: HP and Tron Legacy. I'm still playing through Game Dev Story and I'm constantly going back to Angry Birds, Plants Vs Zombies, and Cut the Rope (Probably my Game of the Year). I also LOVE the Gameloft Spider-Man game. Anyway, I have recently sold my PSP and DSi because all of my mobile gaming is done on my beautiful iPhone 4! neo
  16. I got a story for you, but like "Memento" I'm going to give you the ending first: Dance Central!! Ok, so it's goes like this. I had some family over yesterday after church. They wanted to check out Kinect as they are looking to get one for their family for Christmas. Now, I only have Kinect Adventures (that came with) and The Biggest Loser (thanks to my wife ). So, I downloaded Demos for Sonic Free Riders, Fitness Evolved, Joyride, and Dance Central, all of which I hadn't played before. So, while those were downloading we jumped into Kinect Adventures.....this of course AFTER the Cowboy game . Anyway, we had fun, but I'm not greatly impressed with the selection in KA, in fact it fails in comparrison to Wii Sports....but I digress. I then brought up the Demos, Sonic Free Riders was crap...crap, don't even think about buying it! Joyride was OK, but most important was the kids LOVED it. My 4 year old has had trouble playing Mario Kart Wii in the past so I didn't think she would enjoy Joyride, but the game controls great and she doesn't have to worry about gas or drift or anything, she just steers. So, my 4 year old daughter and 4 and 3 year old neices played Joyride for about 30 minutes and loved it. Then, it was the adults turn so we flipped on Dance Central. Before I share my impressions let me tell you that I had zero interest in the game from day one, it wasn't even on my radar....in fact, before yesterday I would have bought Sonic Free Riders before Dance Central........but alas, that was yesterday. So, they only give you two songs to choose from: Poker Face and Poison. I went with Poker Face as a more modern dance song and began learning moves. The game fully tracks your whole body. For instance, when doing side steps, not only is it monitoring your feet in sync, but if you are holding your arms in a weird way they will glow red and you will lose points. Very cool. So, they take you through each of the steps in the song and let you practice them a few times, then they put it all together with the music. And, to top the cake, in the middle there is a freestyle section, where Kinect records you dancing however you want and then plays it back at double time......and LOLs follow. You can then access and see the photos put together in a stop motion video of your dancing....more LOLs!! Now, remember I told you, there are only 2 songs in the demo. So, for the next 2 hours the adults spent dancing to hilarity! End of the story, it was a great game and now it's probably my next Kinect purchase. And, if you needed more validation, my wife (who doesn't dance.....ever!) not only danced to both songs on hard but looked at me after one of her rounds and says, "we gotta get this game". Well done! neo
  17. I finished LIMBO last night. And I will say that I'm ultimately disappointed. The game, from the start, was intriging and challenging and even haunting. It pulled me in and made me want to keep playing (I beat it in two sittings). Then, I came to the ending. Without spoiling anything for anyone, I just felt completely let down by the whole experience. I was looking for something much more difinitive than what we got. I'm all for open ended ideas left for personal inturpretation (Inception, LOST, Brad and Angelina), but I feel the game attempted to be TOO lofty. If anyone is on the fence about this game I would say wait for a price drop. It's a game I would recommend to anyone, but at $15 it feels like more of a letdown than anything. The only game that I could even compare it to is Braid, which is one of my favorite games of all time. The same thing was attempted in Braid. A cryptic plot with an artistic metophor as an ending. The main difference is that Braid is laced with story. When you start ever level of Braid you have several "books" to read that start filling in gaps and giving some information, so that you can make an educated guess as to what's going on. So, to that end, Braid is still the best indie game even and while Limbo looks AMAZING, it still falls short by it's own heaviness......but that is my opinion . I'm also still working through Assassin's Creed II, and might I just say I do love that game. Assassin's Creed is easily one of my favorite new series of this Generation. I love the controls and the quality and the gameplay and the story. At this pace I don't think I'm going to beat it before Christmas (next week) so Brotherhood may have to wait just a little while longer ! neo
  18. Yeah, first off the VGAs were not very good. Over the top hosting and presenters that looks like they were drug there at gunpoint. It's just got a long way to go. HOWEVER, Red Dead as Game of the Year? Yes Please!! That has been my choice all year long, Mass Effect 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood both deserve a lot of credit (RPG and Action GotY respectively), but Red Dead overall was by far my best experience this year. Good job with that one!! As for the announcements, We all knew Mass Effect 3 was coming, we've known it was a trilogy for a long time. I was actually hoping for something different. We saw Mass Effect , then Dragon Age before Mass Effect 2. I was hoping for something new between the games. Something original and unexpected. Anything BioWare does is going to be fantastic, but I was hoping for something new. But, needless to say, I'll stand in line more for Mass Effect any day so it's a welcome announcement. And the Earth? Oh yeah!! Also, the Uncharted and Batman stuff looks great, I can't wait for both of those games. But, the best announcement, in my opinion, was easily Skyrim. Oblivion was simply GREAT! It was the first game that I played on a Next-Gen console.....the first time I thought "Welcome to the Future"! They've only gotten better with Fallout and they get to revisit the Elder Scrolls. I know Fallout overall is a much better game than Oblivion, I still have a soft spot for Fantasy. There is just something more I love about close combat with swords and shields. Anyway, Fallout is great, but I'll be glad to get on horseback again and take to the open fields. And what game isn't better with DRAGONS?!?!?! I'm really looking forward to skyrim! neo
  19. Well, I have been playing quite a bit lately. I'm astounded just how much better the Xbox is than the PS3. Now that I've back on LIVE I just want to play more. Anywho, yesterday was a big day. I decided which 2 games to pick up in the December sale, so I downloaded Plants vs. Zombie (my iPhone game of the year) and LIMBO. I also downloaded the X-Men Arcade game and Pac-Man CE: DX. I spent most of my time yesterday with Limbo, man that game is awesome. It drew me in for an hour and a half without even thinking about it. I'm at the part with all the gears, so I'm almost done but I ended up having to put her down for the night. I can't wait to see the ending, I hope I get some sort of explination of what the crap is going on. Needless to say though, this is one of the most visiual unique and haunting games of all time! Pac-Man CE: DX is Pac-Man....on Steroids. It is the best Pac-Man game that I've ever played. The new following mechanic from the ghost really change everything that you do and the first 30 ghost chain I got made me giggle like a half baked serial killer.....so fulfilling!! But, of all the new additions, the BEST (IMO) is that Matrix time. Just before you are going to die the game slows down to a crawl and gives you just the time you need to make a split second decision. When you get the speed of the game up really high, that Matrix time is needed and it's adds a little more of a puzzle/skill/quick thinking aspect to the game and less luck! Now, X-Men arcade....It's not really different, but it's X-MEN ARCADE!! I still think TMNT Arcade is a better game, this game will always have a place in my heart, and being able to play it in HD for achievements makes it even better. I beat the game last night with Cyclops (My favorite of the bunch) but there is an achievement for beating it with everyone so I will play back through again several times. However, I'm most interested in the Multiplayer stuff. However, over the Summer when I sold my Xbox I let my Gold run out, so now I'm waiting until Christmas for a new Gold membership. So, as soon as I get that I'm looking forward to some 6 Men games!! And, on top of all of that, I'm still trying to make my way through the story of Assassin's Creed II. I'm getting Brotherhood for Christmas, but since it's a continuation I want to beat II first. But, with all these awesome arcade games I'm having trouble getting to it......but that's the kind of trouble I like . neo
  20. I don't have it, but I've heard it's not very good.....so I continue to fight to urgue of the Tron fan inside of me and NOT buy it......but I may..... neo
  21. Thanks, since I haven't been on Live in some time I missed several big arcade games. I'm looking to pick up 2 for the holiday deal (400 points back) and Limbo is on that list. So is Comic Jumper, Lara Croft, Costume Quest, Deathspank, and Plants vs. Zombies.........oh the choices..... neo
  22. Hm....thanks for the tip! I'll give it another shot tonight. Question for you, did you buy the game? Would you reccommend?? neo
  23. I got my GameInformer on Wednesday and the new game looks GREAT!! It looks like they are making the right decisions for the game. She is lost on an Open World Island and she's not alone. It's like Lost meets Uncharted and I say bring it on!! Uncharted is one of the best series of this generation of games, and it's basically a polished Tomb Raider with balls. If they can bring that same level of polish and presentation to Lara Croft, we may be witness to the complete rebirth of a must own franchise.......or at least I'm still hoping!! neo
  24. Kinect is a Novelity right now. The stuff with the menu is really fun and cool and it was awesome to have my 4 year old daughter stand next to me and be able to play a game with very little instruction required. HOWEVER, I will go on record and say there is no way that I will EVER do my serious gaming with the Kinect, it's just not made for that. What was meant by my first comment is simply that the Xbox 360 controller is, hands down, the BEST controller ever made. I'm looking forward to Fable III and Reach and AC Brotherhood and all of those games could never be enjoyed on Kinect. So, while the "newness" is fun with the Kinect right now, when it all boils down, the controller will always been essential!! On a playing note, I downloaded Pinball FX2 along with the Marvel Tables and have been playing quite a bit. I loved the original Pinball FX and 2 is everything made better and then throw in Marvel tables and you can't beat it. There are 4 tables for 800 points: Iron Man, Spider-Man, Blade, and Wolverine. They are all cool, but Spiderman is my favorite right now. I also played the Trial version for Comic Jumper and Limbo, both are games that I really wanted, but I'm kinda on the fence right now. Comic Jumper was funny, but didn't really catch me with gameplay. Limbo was fantastic in style and presentation, but I spend 20 minutes trying to get across a pond with a box and died over and over. While I would love to play that game, if I can't get through the demo, the full game is going to drive me insane......but I could have just been tired. neo
  25. Well, Santa came early this year. I picked up my Xbox Kinect Bundle yesterday. Let me first say, it's good to be back. Getting rid of my Xbox was a HORRIBLE idea and I'm man enough to admit when I made a mistake. Holding that controller again yesterday felt like a dream, I have no interest in ever playing PS3 again (well, at least until Uncharted 3, lol). Anyway, It was supposed to be wrapped and under the tree, but I worked out a compromise with the Mrs. She was allowed to wrap my games and put them under the tree and I could open and use the console in the meantime. So, right now I have Halo Reach, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Fable III sitting under the tree......but I can wait a few weeks! As for Kinect, she did let me keep Kinect Adventures out for the kids and I bought her Biggest Loser the game. So far Kinect is really cool. The menu stuff is awesome. My biggest concern was that I would have to stand to use it, but that's not the case. You have to stand to play the games (at least the 2 I have), but I sit on the end of my couch, slightly to the left of the TV and Kinect recognized my "wave" and hand motions while I browsed the menu system. It is a novelity, but being able to do it from my favorite seat in the house was a nice plus and it's kinda fun. As for the games, me and Kira (my daughter) spent most of the afternoon playing around with Kinect Adventures, and it's really fun....for her. It's a very simple game that showcases what the Kinect does, but it doesn't have the staying power of, say, Wii Bowling. But, for a pack in it was pretty fun and Kira completely loved it. All she did was simply step in front of the TV and Kinect acknowledged her and even with the vast height difference could read both of us. VERY COOL. The one small issue that we had was Cal (our son). We were about 8 feet from the TV and he thought it was fun to run around in front of us and every now and then Kinect would grab him and it would throw my movements off, nothing game breaking, but if were playing a serious game someone walking in front of you could be a huge issue. Overall I'm glad that we invested in the bundle and I'm sure we will get some good use out of the Kinect especially with the kids. I was worried that Kira, at 4, wouldn't get it, but she was navigating menus and playing just fine without my help. She got a Bronze metal on her very first attempt. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that I was back and plug Kinect a little. I'm sure more impressions will come as I spend more time with it. Love Live XBOX 360!!! neo
