The guys behind the strip are great as well, I've gotten to know them both and even have some original art. Great comic, highly recommend everyone who are into web comics check them out.

Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one that hated the costume. I could live with the belt missing, but the fact that the webs don't cover all the red bugs me for some reason and the gloves are just an abomination. Don't get me started on the crazy texturing. Waaaaaay too much going on in this suit. Less is more Sony, less is more.

Wow am I an idiot. So apparently this whole time I have been trying to figure out my Secret Santa the clue has been staring me right in the face. Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts vbpanizzi, they were amazing! I'm sorry it took so long for me to figure out, when I opened the package I was in such a minimate stupor that I totally disregarded the envelope of your card which had your clue on it. Last night when I was pouring over my gifts again I noticed my mistake and the epic level of my FAIL. Thanks again, you went above and beyond and the gifts were fantastic! Gah, I should be mailing my package out this Monday coming up. I feel awful it has taken me so long but things have been...hectic...on the home front. Hopefully the contents of the package will make up for it's tardiness.

The most shocking thing to me is that Marvel hasn't put the brakes on this thing. Spider-man is Marvel's flagship character and, Broadway or not, it's never good to have your flagship character attached to a flaming bag of poo. I'm looking forward to reading the tweets from some of Spidey's prominent writers/artists after this thing goes live, should be high comedy...

My biggest gripe is casting. I love Ryan Reynolds (perfect Deadpool, literally perfect) but he doesn't fit Green Lantern at all. Yeah, Hal can have a bit of an attitude and in his younger days he had a wild streak but he has never been jokey and hammy at all. It feels like a younger, more immature version of Hal...If DC had their version of the Ultimate Universe, this would be Utlimate Hal... And he says he struggles with fear? Seriously! That's the whole reason he was CHOSEN to be a GL, he was found to have no fear! And I quote, Abin Sur had his ring seek out a man who was, "utterly honest and born without fear". DC better be thankful for Christopher Nolan because every other attempt at a DC movie has been a fail.
