  1. Creepiest. Pickup line. EVER. Haha, but I need me some Beast. PM incoming!
  2. @arnim zola, please share your pics with the group. @whywing, you clicked on my travel blog! haha, I'll be posting those strips here soon.
  3. Thanks Shane! k80, I climb mountains at least once a month. I'll be uploading more pics.
  4. Thanks for the appreciation guys! Mysterious Stranger, I too, am combining several sets in coming up with dioramas. MisterPL, I see where you're coming from. A straight-up display of armors would take up less space but a diorama would be more creative. IM struggling to find a balance betwwen the two. And wow! That's an elegant set-up you have there.
  5. Sharing my WIP Armory. I still have to extend this armory upwards and sideways to make way for the other armors, Tony's rides, and his other toys. Thanks for looking!
  6. It has been quite some time since I last visited Mt. Maculot. For my previous two climbs, I just did a short trek to reach the Grotto. This time, my travel companions and myself utilized the more challenging Rockies trail. It was accurately described in pinoymountaineer.com as a minor climb, rated 3/9, and it took us about 3 hours to reach the famous Rock formation. There were stores selling coconut juice, halo-halo and softdrinks along the trail, so liquid replenishment isn't a problem. Upon reaching camp, there's a brief steep descent and assault to reach the top of the Rock formation. You will do some very minor rock climbing. Be careful at those jagged rocks, I have bumped my head on one occasion. At the top, the view was indeed majestic! See the pics for yourself
  7. There's only two titles I collect: Afterlife with Archie - a great horror twist on the Archie universe. And just when you thought it's all about zombies, the series suddenly takes a Lovefractian twist. The Manhattan Projects - to satiate my sci-fi appettite. One of the best series out there! I try several first issues, but these two stuck with me.
  8. Right on. I have to add Funko Pop to my X-Men 1 diorama collection. This will be a welcome addition to my Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe, Heroclix, Superhero Squad, Squinkies, and of course.. Minimates.
  9. Thanks a lot for the appreciation guys! We certainly had fun doing this. And there was a "NorthRaider" sighting. I've been egging her to return here. Zach, indeed. Minimates are chick magnets, as intot would always say.
  10. I just know it Rob that you will take note of that pic. You dog you.
  11. Hi Guys! I would just like to share pictures of the recently-concluded 13th Philippine TOYCON. As usual, the Pinoy Minimates Kolektors (PMK) had a strong presence in the 'Con. Aside from showcasing our collection by creating epic battle scene dioramas and recreating classic comic covers, we were featured in a local TV channel and garnered coverage in Yahoo newspage. Hope you enjoy the pics! Oh, and the ladies are the TOYCON booth babes. Thanks for viewing! And for your information, our FB page is open to international collectors. In fact, Shane, Luke and Zach are members. In case you want to see more pictures of the TOYCON, please go the yahoo newspage (I'm the one holding the mic): https://ph.news.yahoo.com/photos/toyconph2014-what-you-missed-at-toycon-philippines-2014-1403597020-slideshow/toyconph2014-photo-1403596758417.html;_ylt=AgRRGNMWXzk8BWwVOs1T.ErXYGNH;_ylu=X3oDMTNrb2lscHVsBHBrZwM3MTU3MjlkMC1mYjc1LTExZTMtOGU2Zi1lZmE0ZWVmMDA5N2MEc2VjA01lZGlhQ2Fyb3VzZWxQaG90b0dhbGxlcnlDQVhIUgR2ZXIDNzFhMWVlNzEtZmI3NS0xMWUzLTgxYTctZDNkMmQ2NmM2OWM2;_ylg=X3oDMTBhaWE5ZXVuBGxhbmcDZW4tUEg-;_ylv=3#thumbnails-view
  12. For over 10 years, I have held and defended X2: X-Men United as the best comic film of all-time. Even after Spider-man 2, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Avengers and Captain America 2, it was still X2 for me. Not anymore. There's a new king, and incidentally, it's from the same franchise - X-Men: Days of Future Past! The movie was perfect - action, humor, drama, characterization and comic mythos.. paying homage to previous X-films. Great great movie!
  13. Thanks for appreciating! Quispor, I await with interest the pics you're going to take. Luke, Nessex, that one's my favorite too.
  14. Thanks HJ! The glass case is made locally, it has lighting at the bottom which I did not use. It costs about 35usd.
  15. Galactus sends an advance Herald party to Earth. Confident that Earth will not be able to defend itself, he sends his entire Heralds and even came down himself. The world is plunged in darkness. Who will stop the Devourer of Worlds? Everyone Versus Galactus
  16. CortherX. Thats a great Zombie set-up. Evil Jerk. Epic SHIELD display man!
  17. Howdy 'Mates! Aside from my Minimate collection, I have a passion for wanderlust. I have started but currently improving a travel blog that incorporates our hobby. I hope no one minds if I post some of my travel entries and comic strips here in MMMV from time to time. This is the "About Me" page of my blog: ___________________ I travel and I play. This is my attempt at combining both. I envision to chronicle all my travels, concentrating on the highlights of a particular place, in the hope of evoking wanderlust and providing tips in maximizing travel enjoyment. As I am also fond of collecting action figures, I bring my toys with me whenever I climb, surf, spelunk, dive, etc. And even if other people stare at me with bewilderment, I pose my toys, shoot them, and imagine them talking with each other. My travels are never dull, for I have my little mates with me. ___________________ Hope you like it. If you want to learn more about the places, just shoot me a PM or click on the links below: http://travelingmates.wordpress.com/ https://www.facebook.com/alexis.delatorre.902?ref=bookmark&soft=more
  18. Amazing collection TheSpiderX! Great set-up and nice customs...
  19. Great work MINI_MYTE! The puns were spot-on and I absolutely LOLed at the Oscar Selfie..I have to steal that picture. While I am surprised that Onslaught didn't win MM of the Year (or even place in the Top 3) and that Gremlin in a repainted Sentinel won plenty of awards, I had a good time reading and rereading this. Thanks for doing this every year!!!
  20. Great pics nate_studio and even greater diorama! I am envious of your backdrop.
  21. Thank you Mr. Harold Ramis for letting every child know that they are safe from the monsters under their beds.
