Secret Variant! Final Battle Star-Lord. I like the long coat look the best. But it's cool that all the parts are available to make the different costume variations from the film. I used someones hair piece not sure who, maybe Cyclops.
The difference a hair piece can make. This is a figure i was never crazy about, I think he looks perfect now. Although the new gloves would make it even better.
I put the slicked back black hair on the Johnathan Barnet minimate and was like he looks exactly like Captain Jack. Then I had to cobble together a a figure. The Renfield chest piece would be perfect, but alas I don't have it.
I recycle the packaging. I used to keep card backs of the Toy Biz X-men. The only figures in recent memory that I've kept the packaging for are the 4 Horsemen Outer Spacemen.
Yikes those are some pretty awful costumes. I think John Cassaday did such a good job redesigning the costumes in Astonishing X-Men. He kept what made the costumes iconic while giving them a modern look.
I'd image if Star Wars happened you'd see minimates at least Star Wars minimates everywhere. I mean look how crazy popular the lego Star Wars mini figures are.
Nice Cyclops! Man I love Art Adams' art, his work in Ultimate X was so good. Jimmy vs Sabretooth was such a savagely drawn fight scene.
And I wish they would release X-Factor Angel in a best of wave!
Star Wars.
And now that Disney owns Star Wars I'd like to think that it's a real possibility. The great thing is that Star Wars has a lot of legs just like Marvel.
