I'm liking that M.A.X. stuff! I can always use soldiers, police, firemen in my diorama scenes. I'll figure a way to use the Pirates too!

Here is a pic of the playset based on the movie "G-Force". Works pretty well for the Minis, I think. Doesn't seem to be that common, but it's worth keeping an eye out for. Could be used for SciFi, Training Room, etc. I'll be posting more pics on the "Gramps' toons and Diorama pics thread."

Lackeys Update 11/1/11 The Doctor is In

Excellent job! What are you using for your comic, looks more advanced than Comic Creator? Very sharp and professional looking! -
Some shots with the original X-Men using an Imaginext firehouse in with the other buildings. Spidey and Green Goblin. The Comm. tower looking piece is from a Best-Lock set for a rocket themed set.

That Sunfire is AWESOME!

Thanks! It's from a Mini TMNT playset.

Joe Hill's Supernatural Minifigures

Very cool! I like the diorama! -
Here are some pics of the other playset building. This is the one Target has a repro of. Makes for a decent addition to lay out part of a city block. As with the other one, the interiors would need updating, but the good thing is, they are generally cheap to come by.

These sets look great. What do they go for? I got the pair for about $20. There aren't a lot out there that I can see, but they don't seem to be in overwhelming demand, either. Thanks! One of my favorite things to do with all the different figures and scales I collect is to shoot diorama shots or short photo stories, so good or bad, there will be more.

Geez, looking at the stats, I'm probably the oldest one here? And old enough to literally be Gramps to a bunch of folks here? Wow, that's depressing! I mean for you young whipper-snappers, of course!

This is a couple of Mini-Mutant TMNT sets that link together. A couple of accessory pieces are a bit bothersome, but I think I can remove them or hide them. Scale seems pretty good AND you get 2 levels!

Gramp's customs and stuff-Updated 07/12

My attempt at a Conan. Weapons are from Mega Bloks knights, ground down with a dremel to fit 'mates hands. I'll be changing the hair to Skaar's though. As is, it looks a bit too much like a mullet! Sgt Rock head Thor torso Gollum arms and loincloth Gwen Stacy legs/feet -
I believe the original on had a connector piece between the two halves. It had a picture of a fire escape on it. When opened, it formed the alley that Big Bird lives in. I think the details are better on the old one too. Any of you guys planning to give it a repaint? A little shading could really set this off. That's the one Target has a repro of. Buildings are different on it than this one. Hoping to see mine this week, maybe I can get some pics side-by-side.
