Apocalypse reminds me of King Piccolo in the live action film. I feel like he's over detailed, which gives him that Power ranger villain look.

I felt the same at first. After purchasing them, and having them for a short while, really grew on me. I like the quirky unnappologetic 2d on simple shape look of the OG minimate frame. Too much sculpt and it becomes just like any other action figure. At least in my opinion.

im pretty sure its clear Oh wow, thats unnecessarily dully clear. I hope the final product has a yellowish tint to it, I enjoyed how it gave him a cocky edge in the film, something with flair. This just seems unnoticeable.

Doesn't look transluscent, I think it's just a super dull green that blends in its the background, giving it transluscent look.

Just speculating, letting my imagination run wild, going with the rumors that Yellow-jacket isn't the final boss, but leading to Pym as the leading baddy, it would be amazing if this film finished off with Pym creating the Giant-man tech. Then again, I'm almost always wrong about these things. Would be cool though.

I could have sworn there was a Stryfe minimate out there, and remembering he's bulky as all heck. I can't seem to find him anywhere, but he looked so legit,and I remembering wanting to pass on him, at the time, iwas more of a "purist" and loathed bulky armor accessories(TGI moved on from that) but after getting the new X-force box-set, I now really want him. But, nothing! was I dreaming, or did I see a really good custom? With love, Sugolf

OMG, I was at TRU about 20 minutes ago and was gazing through these sets and saw the havok figure and immediately recognized the face but couldn't quite place why it looked familiar! You saint you!

I'm going to have to buy a whole new mantle for these.

I finally got my camera cord out of some random box. Here are a few pictures of a couple modified minimates(all iron man) The first Modified Iron man takes the body armor from the first Iron man film, the arms, legs and helmet of the Iron man Mark VI from the second film. I feel this relates to the Original look of Iron man with the yellowish/goldish arms and legs with a red body. Silver Centurion was always one of my favorite armors as a child, I of course picked up both minimate versions. The first release is my favorite. Theres something perfect about its simplicity that I view the recent release as kind of a waste. But that of course is my opinion, maybe not yours Im a huge fan of the film release Iron man minimates, and I really wanted a Silver Centurion that follows the same technic look as the films. I took the armor and crotch piece of the Silver Centurion of the recent wave, hands and feet of Mark IV from the second film, femurs and arms from War Machine, body of Mark VI, and head and helmet from Mark V. I used one of the extra opened masks and applied a silver enamel paint to the face plate, knees and upper cuffs of the hands. *Note, I accidentally scratched the left knee. Hi everyone! Im sort of new to this forum, Ive been watching almost all of the threads, and happened upon this particular one. As usual after a glass of wine, dimmed lights, music to get the groove on and a fancy meal things started to get a little heated up if you know what I mean! I succumbed to my animalistic urges and pre-ordered myself the Heroes & Adversaries box set. Well I'm getting super excited about filling in that blank spot labeled "Deadpool" on my mantel like everyone else out there in need of said figure. However after a couple weeks I noticed something a little strange, I couldn't find any release date! It was my first time and all, and maybe I was a little too excited that I skipped the info if there were any upon ordering I've looked around and am having a difficult time trying to find the release date for this set. Would any of you fine lads or ladettes have any info or hints to help me find out, I would gladly appreciate it. Thank you if you do, and thank you if you dont!
