  1. Just found four each of the new wave with Water Emerge in King of Prussia, PA TRU. No sign of Donald Trump but I'll check the Wawa across the street he was at yesterday later.
  2. Got mine in King of Prussia, PA TRU today. Each set is 4 per case.
  3. Thanks, got it. Sounds like the newborn alien accessory is new also. Does that come packed with Vasquez or Hudson? The review I linked says Hudson but the picture here shows it by Vasquez.
  4. What makes the Screaming Alien packed with TRU Hudson different from the Warrior Alien packed with DST Apone? Just looking at the pictures I'm not seeing the difference. I can see that the Battle-Damaged Alien packed with TRU Vasquez has a closed mouth, while the single-pack one has an open mouth. So I'm wondering if that alien is the only true exclusive in this TRU wave and the reason they put the sticker on that one. Someone has a review of the Hudson/Vasquez packs here: http://kastorskorner.com/wp/2015/07/16/toys-bolsters-minimates-colonial-marine-army/
  5. Found it at TRU in Exton, PA yesterday. They had about 10 on the shelf for $9.99 each. Also had a peg full of Expendables Minimates 4-packs. For some reason it seems like they're no longer shipping all the "collector" product to all TRUs, especially the combo TRU/BRUs. My local one has never received the battle-damaged Robocop, Expendables Minimates or NECA Rocky figures. Now to see how long before the local thief slices the bubble with his box cutter and steals Michael Knight to join with his other stolen Minimate and female figure collection. Just give it a try, pal, they'll be watching for you.
  6. I just got this from BBTS about changes in this wave of vehicles. Did they get some kind of variant editions or are they all going to be like this? Anyway I'm glad there are some differences since I got the TRU vehicle already, but I'm not sure what the logic is in making it transparent. Is there some kind of a sale going on in China on translucent plastic, because Mattel just came out with Brave and the Bold Batman figures at retail that are translucent for some reason too. BBTS - Minimate Vehicles Series 02 - Set of 3 Change Tuesday, November 8, 2011 8:27 AM From: "service@bigbadtoystore.com" <service@bigbadtoystore.com> Hi - We have just received this item, and the Back to the Future Time Machine was produced with the front half as transparent, shading back to an opaque back half, instead of what was originally pictured. The transparent blue Jet has a clear red canopy instead of white, as well as a transparent pilot. The Pirate Ship is a Glow-In-The-Dark version, not the regular version as originally pictured. If you are no longer interested in this item, feel free to go to your BBTS account and cancel the pre-order at any time before Friday morning (11-11-11), when we will be running the pre-orders. We thank you for your order, and apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks, www.bigbadtoystore.com
  7. Found a case of these and two cases of the Pirates minis on the pegs at TRU in King of Prussia, PA today. $7.49 for all of them and all were even-packed.
  8. Yeah, I have all the singles and 2-packs with me, not opened, but the Hydra Soldier in the 2-packs looks identical to the single Hydra Infantry. So the singles that are not repacked elsewhere are labeled Hydra Soldier, Hydra Pilot and Red Skull in Hydra Uniform. The single Hydra Infantry is repacked in two different Diamond exclusive 2-packs where it is mislabeled as Hydra Soldier and the single Hydra Flame Trooper is repacked in one TRU exclusive 2-pack. My gut feeling is the names are wrong on the singles and right on the 2-packs, because they did the same thing last year with the Iron Man singles and the "screaming" one seems like it should be called Infantry because that probably implies he's currently in combat.
  9. On other boards I frequent if someone starts a new thread to cover a topic that's already in an existing thread, they'll merge the threads into one or just delete the new thread. It helps better with organization and navigation to keep all posts on a single topic in a single thread. The date of the last post in the existing thread is completely irrelevant as far as I can see. And it doesn't make any sense to discourage any on-topic posting and discussion in a discussion forum, whether it's continuing an old topic or starting a new one. Plus I like being able to look at a long-running thread and see how the discussion has progressed over months or years. All I can tell you is I searched the net far and wide and that was the best deal on these Minimates I could find. The Sandman pack was cheaper at Corner Store Comics, but this is the cheapest on getting all 4 in one place or just getting the Mary Jane set. Anywhere else you buy Mary Jane, you'd be paying $15-$20 just to get her 2-pack alone shipped. If you can point me to a better deal available I'd like to see it. Where did you find all 8 packs for $25 anyway?
  10. I'm getting into the Marvel movie Minimates now and was searching around for the best deals. I think I found a really good one for the second wave of Spider-Man Movie 'mates. This store has the full second wave including the "variant" Mary Jane for under MSRP, and they're offering a free shipping code. So I got the full wave shipped for $20 and change. Keep in mind the store carries NO other Minimates so this is some kind of fluke. They generally seem to carry higher-end statues and busts (but do have some Infinite Heroes/DC Universe, early 2000s Star Wars and other random figures). Here is the link to the Marvel figures section. Below I listed the item names along with how many of each they have in stock, based on my playing with the shopping cart quantities in their system: http://www.mostwantedcollectibles.com/marv...res-c-4_82.html To get free shipping, enter this coupon code during checkout: RPWRZSRK Marvel Minimates Series 18 Spider-Man 3 - Mary Jane/Unmasked Sale: $5.59 (17 in stock) Marvel Minimates Series 18 Spider-Man 3 - Gwen Stacey/Unmasked Sale: $4.89 (53 in stock) Marvel Minimates Series 18 Spider-Man 3 - Sandman/Battle Damage Sale: $4.89 (76 in stock) Marvel Minimates Series 18 Spider-Man 3 - Venom/Transformation Sale: $4.89 (78 in stock)
  11. How about Pete from GB1 wearing the red jacket over his uniform during the fountain conversation with Dana? That color would look great on a Minimate. http://www.gbfans.com/images/ghostbusters/...en-caps/102.jpg http://www.gbfans.com/images/ghostbusters/...en-caps/105.jpg http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2088/28.../Image125.6.jpg
  12. Yes, I placed an order for them at StarStore on January 9th but they e-mailed me the below: We are sorry to report that we are unable to supply the items on your order as they are now sold out. We had hoped to be able to obtain these items for you, but unfortunately this has not been possible. This order has now been cancelled and we can confirm that you have not been charged for it. 13. I just picked up the Rocky I set at an LCS last week. Then I found this thread. I e-mailed Diamond Select Toys over the weekend and got a response saying they'll be shipping out the replacement hairpiece. This offer isn't dead yet! Also noticed this good price on Amazon for the Rocky II set, just $6.99: http://www.amazon.com/Rocky-Minimates-Box-...hecompleguideto And the same seller has some other Minimates cheap if you search his storefront: http://www.amazon.com/gp/shops/storefront/index.html
  14. Wow, after almost two months of hunts at local comic book shops, endless Google searches, multiple "sorry, we're cancelling your order because we're out of stock" notes from two-bit online stores, one lost eBay auction, one ongoing horrendously overpriced eBay auction, two missed eBay buy-it-nows, one mysterious BBTS pre-order that sits in limbo forever, a lack of replies from my online trade posts and one outright refusal to a trade offer I made, I FINALLY scored the Back to the Future II Minimates 4-pack this afternoon on Amazon.com! The same Amazon seller who I managed to order the BTTF1 set from last month for $20 just added one copy of the BTTF2 set today for $26. I was more than happy to pay that for this ridiculously elusive set from one of my favorite "fun" movies of the '80s. The free shipping was just icing on the cake. My Back to the Future Minimates collection is now complete! Screenshot of the Amazon order page: http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa123/J...bttf2amazon.jpg
  15. BBTS is offering a pre-order on the BTTF 2 Minimates set and you can even put up to 17 in your cart. I pre-ordered when it said due to arrive in January, but it never arrived and that changed to due in February after the month changed over. However, the item went to sold out status after I ordered mine, but a week or so later they moved it back up to 23 available for pre-order. The same thing happened with a pre-order on Good, Bad and the Ugly Minimates this month. So if this is just a mistake in their system, I can't explain why they would be raising the available quantity after a pre-order sold out if they don't expect to get more of the item in. I'm hoping that Diamond is cleaning out their warehouse and giving BBTS first dibs on the stuff they find, which would explain why no other retailer has these available to order now. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail
