I just added a link above to a 50 or so second video i shot this morning, it is really dark in the living room but lighter than my bedroom, that was actually taken in the morning so it's as bright as i can get it for now. Erm.. good question, obvious ones are Nightcrawler & Thor, Beta Ray Bill, Apocalypse, Doctor Octopus, Blade, Punisher & Bullseye, Classic Green Goblin, Juggernaut, Kingpin, Moon Knight & Taskmater. Then I guess from DC I'd want Killer Croc, Clayface, Aquaman, Nightwing, Powergirl & Shazam. I've got now pretty much what i wanted in the Darkstalkers/Street Fighter releases,(Pink chunners is on the way) the rest is from MvC and those arent released until end of this month and i have them on Pre-Order Rich

Let me start by saying, I'm a little indifferent to this news at the moment, but i dont want to post anything too negative, i'm still catching up with all the DC/Marvel stuff I want, plus, I actually haven't ever read the TWD comic or watched the tv show so I know absolutely nothing about the characters, i'm not a big horror or zombie fan so I can't see myself investing in this line (that could change though), I mean i've not seen the actual toy product yet in full so i think the smartest thing here would be for me to wait and see full pictures of the 1st release, if theres a character in there I want then sure i'll get them. Keep in mind that i dont know all that much about the MvC3 stuff and my strength, albeit it mediocre lies with the SF and Marvel characters, i only ever played the first Resi Evil and the rest of the capcom characters i'm lost on, but i still invested in that line because i thought some of the minimates were cool looking, my best example was Arthur & Dante, never played either of those games and knew very little about them but because the Mates were well made I got them. Finally, alot of you on this forum really seem to want this line/release, and judging by the response its overwhelming this line will be popular, the idea of an end of the world scenario where a few survivors are left battling hordes of zombies really seems to of caught on and to see everyone geniunely excited about this product can only be a great thing for DST and this forum. I've made customs of all those guys save for the Mad Hatter and Azrael. :biggrin: I've got Az on the back burner, though... I think you can do him with a Hand Ninja hood and Mr. Sinister's cape (maybe with some modification). Haven't figured out how to do his chest, though, but a decal may be the way to go. Anyway, I have made a face decal for him (this is modified from a picture I found on DeviantArt). Hope this gets you started: Hey thanks! I wont be doing the customs above for a bit yet, they are on my to do list as well, right now i want to concentrate on the 10-11 or so customs i have planned as i setup a webpage to display them all when they are finished. I'm at the stage where i'm pending deals or i have 1 character with arms and legs but no torso or the other way round, one character i'm working on i have his torso and waist which i've started painting but not got the arms for yet I'm making progress though, and as with each week that passes and new shipments come in i'll eventually have the 10 character customs i wanted to post up, once i've finished these i'll do 4 or 5 DC/Marvel ones and begin working on the list above, so even though i wont be working on Azrael now, when i do come back to him i can use this thread and your previous customs as a good source point. Something isn't quite right here, because Punisher was the one who I was sending a message to, and he informs me he didnt get notification of my first PM but only realised i'd sent him a PM after I sent the second as a follow up and it only then notified him after the second one came through.

Any chance you could share the recipe for what parts you used on Azrael? I used to have the DCSH version and had a few comics with him in that i liked. :biggrin: I'd appreciate if you could post up which minimate parts you've used to make yours. Nice job on Azrael too, it's not likely we'll get him made. Rich

He's going to be on my 'To do' list of customs as well now From DC I have on the list. Mr.Freeze Poison Ivy Two Face Mad Hatter Scarecrow The Atom Azrael I dont think any of those have been made, surprised Mr.Freeze, Poison Ivy, Two Face and Mad Hatter never got into the DC line, especially because of the appearances those characters made in the Lego Batman videogame.

Today I was inspired a little by the Darktide cartoon posted on metacafe that buttheadsmate posted up a link to, So I decided to do, 3 one-shot photos of an X-Men scene, which i thought i'd share here. I don't yet have Juggernaut from Series 5. So as a substitute I put Sabretooth there, seems to fit well with the scene I was making. Rich

:biggrin: I just got these 3 in the mail this morning! These belonged to a friend of mine on flickr/facebook, for weeks he was saying he wouldn't sell but he's moving onto collecting Hot Toys, and decided finally to sell them, relieved that he thought of me first, although the constant wagering by me for the last few weeks 'may' of been an influence, :tongue: Both Cyborg Superman & Justice Lords Superman weren't even marked down on my priority 'wants' list, i'd of probably got round to getting them in the end but this opportunity to get them was too good to miss. I also made a new folder on flickr, it's one i'll be putting all my customs in. I put together two random mates from the parts i have spare to make this photo, the folder name came from my friend as we discussed on facebook how great the mates are for swapping and customs, and he came up with that word which i've borrowed. Oh thanks I didn't know Mega Bloks done a FF set, it be nice to see some assembled pictures of the lab. I'm going to spend a couple of days sourcing some images for the floors that the Fantastic Four occupy as well as work on the actual reception area of the Fantastic 4.
