I dont think the SF minimates are all that bad, and I do plan to get a set of them. :biggrin: I think the character selection could of been better. From Street Fighter I can think of the following. Ryu Ken Chun Li M.Bison Sagat T-Hawk Cammy E-Honda Zangief Dhalsim Blanka Vega Guile Akuma Balrog Adon Gen Sakura Fei Long Dee Jay Birdie Remy Ibuki Dan I think those should of been pushed first ahead of characters like Demitri and Morrigan?? Thats about 24 characters in original colour selection so thats about 6 sets of 4? I think Demitri and Morrigan was a good idea to add darkstalkers characters to the line, but just not that early on. Going back on Topic to the Mortal Kombat minimates, it seems unlikely they will do them if the SF ones didnt sell too well, which is a shame, as i'd of loved to seen them released.

Here is what I'd like to see, They could do these two in the style of the dc construction packs. Street Hawk Knight Rider as they both had vehicles I'd also like to see these Robocop Aliens Men In Black Austin Powers Mortal Kombat Tekken Mario Minimates Thundercats Minimates Make some kind of Minimate appearance. and finally... because someone already pointed out minimates work best with colourful/heroic kind of designs Defenders of the Earth - Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Lothar & Mandrake the Magician Thats a 4 pack i'd definately buy into. I also think that in the construction kind of style MASK would be outrageously marketable and Sellable!

If they done a Bond 4-Pack and wanted to continue they could release them in packs of 4 as per the first idea, then any additional characters to be released in 2-packs. I dont know who would actually be in the 4 packs, the ideas suggested so far are superb and i'd love to have a Pussy Galore, Bond and Jaws Minimates... thats just awesome!

Thanks guys!!! :biggrin: I just checked back on the the PM I got from my friend on my forum and yes the joker is included in the set.. now i'm even more excited This is a snippet from the PM I got from him: The Batcave, You get a Bruce Wayne you can convert to a standard Batman and the Heavy Assault suit Batman with multiple wings, plus some batarangs and a grapple gun. You also get a Joker with gold cane. Flash and Miniflyer The bike comes with its own Batman with a helmet and visor. It's already assembled and sturdy, so no worried there, he also comes with the white version of Manbat. The glider folds up and has positional fans and has a stealth suit Batman and Catwoman, she gets a whip and a little bag of loot too. The X-Men figs are Professor X, Phoenix, New Wolverine & Magneto as well as Collossus & Wolverine 2 pack. :biggrin: I promise to post up some awesome pictures of all this stuff when I get it.

I just got reading some posts here, I live in a small town in Manchester, UK. I went to the 3 main places in my town where toys are sold and theres 0 Minimates.. anywhere at retail. This weekend I hope to be in Manchester City Centre, whereby I'm going to stop at Forbidden Planet store, I'm sure if they have them they'll be pricey though. someone mentioned to me that Southampton FP store was selling them cheap, so who knows I might get lucky. I've always found good deals off collector friends/ebay for stuff i've been after, whether that be GIJOE, Transformers or even now with Minimates stuff. I wish there was a retail store in my town that stocked minimates, i dunno maybe its a good thing because if they did i'd be in there everyday to gawp at all the ones i cant afford! :lol: Back on topic for the thread, I like alot of those from TRU Series 5. That Spider-Man & Scorpian 2 pack as well as the Silver Surfer, Iron Man and Titanium Man 2 pack are awesome.

Hi, I just got notification from my friend, the batcave and a decent slew of figures have been sent by priority post parcelforce this afternoon. Here is a pic OMG OMG I feel like a kid again.... I soooo can't wait for this to arrive! :biggrin: I thought I'd share this with you as it will probably arrive before the parcel from Canada with those other 10 figs in.

Yeah! I know what you mean, I've spoken to 5 different people on MSN this week and most of them have lapsed their collection since the rise of cobra movie, some of my mates in the UK are finding it difficult getting new product in here in England, and they dont want to be spiked on shipping prices, as far as I can tell the US is about 3 waves or so in front of the UK. I didnt go into collecting ROC toys as much, I only picked up the Steel Crusher APV (Love to see one of these in Minimate form to go with a cobra set) :biggrin: My friend sent me images on msn the other day of the Sideshow Firefly, I've always liked their work. If i'd of ever custom built my own articulated ACTION MAN/GIJOE based on the character I reckon it would of looked something like that. In terms of actual collecting of Action Figures i've never gone above the 6" scale really, I stopped Collecting the HML line a while back and referred back to GIJOE. I've stopped collecting GIJOE and now I'm onto Minimates. :biggrin: I actually am Stumped and amazed at the 14 POA that you can fit into such a miniscule little figure.... its awesome! I've just spent the last 1hr 30 minutes going through 11 pages and at the great customs you've done, I did come and look for your name in the customs thread after you greeted me so well in my intro. At some stage I do plan to do some customizing of minimates myself, if mine turn out 1/4 as good as yours I'll be well pleased :biggrin: thank you for taking the time to share with us the pictures and recipes for making them. If you ever do get time to do a custom, could I request perhaps a good recipe for Tommy Vercetti, you know the guy from GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY VIDEOGAME. I'd love to see you do him as a minimate. I'm sure you've got your ideas n stuff, but if you do ever get the time please give it a go. Excellent Work throughout this thread. *applause*

I just signed up this week too, and only just started collecting Minimates

speaking as a GIJOE fan, it would be fantastic to see G.I.JOE Minimates, I also couldn't agree more about the wave selection and the fact the Joe Film Rise of Cobra has been out. You only have to look at the other products that have been released with GIJOE brand to see that GIJOE minimates would work. The cool thing about this would be that other GIJOE fans might also then buy into a Minimate collection, having seen a Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow two pack, they might of seen a Ryu/Akuma one and wanted to see Ryu Vs Snake Eyes :biggrin: Anyway I'm just waffling, maybe a deal could be struck between the manufacturers, between Art Asylum or DST and Hasbro. If they were that worried about sales figures they could make it online only pre-order or something, I'd be well up for getting at least 5 waves of GIJOE Minimates. I also have to agree on the Army Building Potential... you could have Vipers, Cobra's and BAT Minimate sets in packs or 4 or 5. Hi everyone! Just a quick intro to me, I'm Richard and I'm from the UK. > Manchester. I just came across Minimates about 3 or 4 days ago on the Flickr.com website, someone on my contact list had taken some excellent pictures and i'm now going to start collecting them. I've won 10 Minimate figures off ebay in the last 2 days, as well as secured a deal to buy the batcave from a friend, so i'm really looking forward to being part of this community and collecting Minimates of all kinds.
