I didn't get it out of the box yet, but I plan on it tonight. I'll post some pics. The trees look perfect for a Minimate Christmas diorama if I can find some mini ornaments.

Just wondering if anyone uses Heroscape tiles to display Minimates? I picked up an expansion set on clearance because it had a cool bridge and trees in mini scale and wondered if anyone used the tiles from that game and what they thought of them.

I try to get what ever I can find cheap. I really don't do variants unless I luck into them. I usually get most when they're available as a single figure cheap on eBay or through trades. Just yesterday I went to a comic shop to get the Beast/Kitty pack and couldn't bring myself to pay $9+tax for them. The price of figures in general is ridiculous (mostly) and I can't justify it when in a few months they will probably be cheaper somewhere.

Hey there. I appear to be another poster from the old AA boards who didn't realize it'd gone down the crapper while I was gone. I was never a huge presence there, but it was one of the few boards I frequented (there other was the old Palisades board which is no more). I've always collected minis from the beginning, but had to stop collecting toys for a long while. I figured if I couldn't get the toys, why depress myself by talking about them. Now that things seem to be back to normal, I've been trying to catch up. I had to sell a lot of toys, but always held on to my minimates (with the exception of my LOTR stuff, which I regret having to sell but know that it'd be pretty easy to get them back.) I figured I should make a formal introduction if I'm going to be here now and then. So, hi there. I like what you've all done with the place.

I'd say it, but I don't have enough posts and I'm sure ones on the old AA board don't count (I guess all those were good for was a lousy Bombermate-it's not like those are valuable or hard to find ). Maybe I'll have enough posts next time.

Save the Minimate, save the world. Claire Bennet from Heroes. First off, there are some amazing customs so far. Absolutely amazing. And secondly, my apologies that my figure is flat-chested. I started to give it some enhancements and my wife was pretty vocal about the issue ('isn't that just crossing the line a little?'). I know this hurts my chances a bit , but I would like to point out the figure is using a Gwen Stacey lower half so that means she's not wearing any underwear. Enjoy.

So...what's the best way to post an image? Not that I'm not smart enough to figure it out or anything. I'm just asking for a friend, ya know. Anybody want help me?

Any speculation that Minimate wave 15 will be SPider-Man 3 figures?
