What I was going for was a representation of Tsukuyomi. Amaterasu is the Sun God in Japanese Shinto religion, and Tsukuyomi, as the god of the Moon, is her foil. So I was trying to represent the opposite character of Amaterasu from Okami. I think you did exactly that, man.

They most likely will. Generally prototypes aren't done in translucent plastic because it's just easier not to or something. I don't mind the sold pink, but I am always for more translucent pieces.

Solely because of this thread, I'm re-reading Thor and the Warriors Four. It's one of my favorite books of the last decade. I think one day these Power Pack books are going to be a great way to introduce my nephew to comics.

Champions Widow for the body, Avengers Widow for the belt and the guns and holsters on her legs, Iron Man 2 Widow for the bracelets, The shoulder holster is from Chloe from the Uncharted pack, Maria Hill for the face and BSG Captivity Six for the hair. Did somebody say there isn't enough Black Widow in this thread? Can't have that. And because I'm, well, obsessed, I made me a Yelena Belova Black Widow as well. Not in her ultra-revealing costume, as I have no talent for that, but still, I like it all the same. This thread is beginning to make it abudantly clear to me that I need to find or build some awesome new set pieces.

I agree with this entirely. I wanted to make customs, but I suck, so really all I did was decals, but never got around to going any further than that. I would love if these got released officially.

That Super Mario 3 guide book is possibly one of the absolute best written and put together strategy guides of all time. I still have a copy of it somewhere. Probably the only Nintendo Power book I still have, and it's held together by all kinds of tape and some glue. What I should do is take the thing apart and have it rebound in a hardcover leather book. With embossed logo and and all on the cover. Man, that would be amazing.

Some slight changes to the jacket and outfit could be allowable, so long as he isn't put head to toe in black leather, but you're right. Screw up that helmet and that's it. Deal breaker. Game over.

I love the Rocketeer too, and would give a reboot a chance. And if it got the recognition level up to where we got minimates, I'd probably be completely alright with a medicore movie, because then we'd still have minimates and could make our own movies.

Thanks guys. I've decided to start a new thing next week. I'll post the teaser image in the General Pics thread like always, but earlier in the day, and the first person to guess all the competitors will get to pick the line up for the next week's fight. Granted they have to pick from the minimates I have, but it's a decent assortment. Picking fighters is what always takes me the longest, so I'm going to try that and if it works out well, it will become a regular thing.
