  1. I've been a fan of Arrow since season 1 and the Barry Allen episodes in series 2 were my favorite episode's so far. I love Grant Gustin as Barry Allen so I am quite excited for the series!
  2. The Kill Bill mates are listed under "Quentin Tarantino"; I assume the Pulp Fiction mates will be listed there as well, but werent these mates supposed to be under "Mirmax"? If the license is for all Quentin films, is there a chance for Django? (Sorry if already asked)
  3. I may be wrong, but I never really see much talk of Ant-man and Morbius. All the interchangeable parts on Ant-man make him really fun and Morbius is a perfect comic to Mate transfer.
  4. These mates are really growing on me. The only real dislike I have about the wave is Gwen's face, The plastic makes her seem way too tanned
  5. I've read a bit of Guardians in the past so I was interested when the film was announced, the cast was then announced which continued my interest and then the After-credit scene for Thor 2 really sealed the deal with this movie., I cannot stress how much I loved the style of that 1 minute clip, everything seemed right. With the release of this trailer I can 100% say that I am head over heels for this movie. The comedy and style seem to be executed flawlessly and the world shown from the 2 and a half minutes seems extremely interesting. I really cannot wait for the film! {As a side note, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill is perfect!} {As another side note; The term "Avengers of space" is usually thrown around to explain the GotG, Well the group shot of avengers was that epic 360* camera turn and for the GotG, you have the leader {Star Lord} yawning and everyone really not seeming to care; It really sets up the tone of the film!}
  6. Miles and Michael are both amazing actors who will surely do a great job. If Kate Mara is anything like her sister she will be serviceable. The one casting that kind of threw me off was Jamie Bell; He is a good actor but like everyone else I am not sure if he could pull off Ben. Josh Trank, Miles Teller and Michael B Jordan are all great in my books, so I will definitely give the film a shot, it certainly can't be as bad as the previous 2....
  7. yeah, it's being discussed in its thread right now. It includes: grey hulk/Iron man, Hawkeye/Antman, Spidersense Spidey/Cap and Luke Cage/Iron Fist
  8. So far for Marvel the 4 movie waves have been confirmed to be there, I was wondering if by any chance any comic waves (other then best of) were there. For the deadly foes boxset, is the licensing sorted out yet? Is that set shown on the floor or at the panel (if there is one) Everything is really impressive so far! When Godzilla was announced I thought it was for the new movie and was kinda of let down, but we are getting mothra!!
  9. I love Jesse and can't wait to see how he's going to portray Lex, now that that's out of the way, May I present to you this interview where the Interviewer brings up Batman Vs Superman to Jesse back in October? {Really great question at the end}
  10. Sorry if this has been answered already, but has any of my fellow Canadians spotted massive price drops? I haven't been to a TRU in a while and i'm not sure if it's worth the trek; Thanks!
  11. I've had the game for awhile now but just got around to playing/beating it {PS3}; All I gotta say is WOW. I guess I should say my main complaint first, the story kind of sucked. The only character I actually cared for was Laura, everyone else was just so under-developed, especially Roth who I assume was supposed to be a character you would root for so he can be there for Laura, but he really just felt cookie cutter. Another complaint has to be the tombs, yes they are fun to solve, but I expected them to take much longer then a 3-step puzzle. The boss fight{s} {was there more then the final one?} was really lackluster, I remember when that giant monster of a statue came out I was like "That's going to be one of the greatest boss battles EVER!"; There was so much more possibilities then just the standard 'Attack from behind' method. Now that my gripes are out of the way it's time to praise the game. Obviously first are the graphics, specifically level of detail put into every level. After I beat the game I spent 2 hours revisiting the island just walking around {not even collecting things}.Next up is the upgrades, sure they aren't 'unique' per say {I mean it's not like one Laura can have a complete different skill set as another as everyone ends up with almost everything by the end} but their serviceable; It was awesome to add a silencer to my pistol and to put the grenades on the tips of my arrows. Finally, easily the best part of the game was the gameplay itself, when it started I was very underwhelmed {Killing those first wolves were so annoying} but as soon as upgrades and new weapons were thrown into the mix, I had a blast! I've always wanted to play a Hunger Games type game {That wasn't in Minecraft} and Tomb Raider really fulfilled my craving, I felt like Katniss hoping from tree to tree silently taking out the enemies, it was awesome! The scripted scenes were great fun as well. Thinking about the game as a whole, it felt a lot like Arkham City {without the amazing story}. They both share great sneaking mechanics, good upgrades, and an amazing level of detail. Tomb Raider was definitely worth the $15
  12. I know there has been some movie discussion happening in the minimate wave thread, but I figured I might as well put the movie stuff here. First off, Alistair Smythe is officially being played by BJ Novak {Whom I think is a fantastic actor} http://www.slashfilm.com/b-j-novaks-amazing-spider-man-2-role-revealed/ The Superbowl half trailer gave a link to this awesome 4 minute trailer!
  13. Is it ironic that this happend considering tangled's hit song is "I see the light"?
  14. So Zach posted this in the wave 18 thread, ASM 2 TRU Minimates! He is a bit unsure but it's nice to know there is a chance! "Sorry you feel in the dark, BHM. I'm trying to tell you everything I know, no mushroom food, but I realize a sample case is worth a thousand words. Besides 18, the sets being cleared out have all been around for a while. I have to imagine they're simply making room for the new Minimates they've ordered. Not positive of the full range, but I believe they'll have ASM2, GotG and a fan poll set, plus some non-Marvel stuff like Walking Dead. That could change at Toy Fair, but it could change for the better as well as the worse. Were showing a LOT of new Minimates. Glad everyone is getting one of my favorite assortments for rock bottom prices."
  15. Edgar Wright has stated that the movie will be a heist film, I am now curious if the heist is Scott stealing the suit.
  16. Oh gosh, I completely forgot to post about this when they were announced. I'm very interested to see the films being told in the perspective of the villains {if it is}! I can't wait to see the lineup, even though it probably will include Lizard, Electro, Rhino and Goblin whom were all going to be shown previously.
  17. At a Fan Expo this year {big Canadian convention}, a booth was doing some last minute clearances for the day and sitting at the bottom of the $2 bin was a glow in the dark pirate ship MIB. Obviously its not as jaw dropping as a cent two pack, but it's definitely something.
  18. Really appreciate the help you've provided over the past couple of years, thank you Pickle!
  19. I know I should ask this in the buying and selling thread; but if anyone has an extra Spock/Electro and an ultimate venom, I would be willing to buy them!
  20. This set is an instant pre-order on Lukes for me, I can't wait to see the designs!
  21. I haven't even turned on my computer this past week because a little game called Grand Theft Auto 5. I only got about 15 missions to go so I am approaching the end of the game and I gotta say; I am speechless. I could seriously go on for hours about how amazing the game is. For example, The GTA4 story in my opinion was so dull and boring, So I wasn't too excited for this one's story and my God, the story in this one is leaps and bounds better then GTA4, It's the reason why I haven't put down the controller and it's the reason why I am almost 30 hours in and i haven't even explored all the city and have yet to get 5 stars {outside of missions that is}. Michael's family life is brutal and at the same time so interesting, Franklin is smart and quick but hanging around with a bunch of dumba**'s who get you in terrible situations {which is obviously where the fun comes from} and Trevor, well Trevor is a real piece of work. There are a couple of times where I have to stop and realize I am playing a game and not watching a movie because the world of Los Santos is so huge and varying. One moment you can be on top of the vinewood sign looking at the view of an amazing city, then you can take a helicopter and see the view of a terrible junky trailer park and forest. It's not just the overall world that's amazing, it's also the little details like the tennis mini game which they could have just made "Press X to swing" but it's much more then that, there's 4 different types of hits you can do and you'll actually need to use them at the right time to win, I mean when even a small tennis mini game is perfect you know you've got yourself a masterpiece of a game. Online is being released in about 10 days so I strongly advise you and a couple of your friends to pick up a copy and start building up your skills because this game is easily one of the greatest of all time and the online is looking huge as well due to the 500 missions that are already developed online. Like I said before the game is a masterpiece and if you have any questions please feel free to ask {I might be a day or two late though}
  22. Hopefully us canadians get it a month before the americans!! Hopefully then I can scalp the prices on ebay
  23. Oh sorry about that, I'm a huge spidey fan and most spidey civilians have yet to get any good justice -Stan Lee -Uncle Ben -Peter Parker -Mary Jane -Gwen Stacy {ASM wasn't terrible} -Flash -Phil Urich {been getting a lot of attention recently} -Updated Hydro Man {I know it's on the verge of costume but..} -Harry Osborn
  24. It's been way too long since ive checked back here, so I should just put in my 2 cents CURRENTLY PLAYING: Minecraft: Me and a couple friends rejoined our old server where we used to be pretty much Gods with multiple fully enchanted items, chests full of diamond stacks and a huge nation; Well turns out server was reset so we restarted our nation which really wasn't bad because once you are the best in the server and have literally everything except herobrine's head it gets pretty stale.. We've been rebuilding our nation and everything has been pretty good ModNation Racers: had it 100% on PSP. I loved it when I played it on the PSP and I beat it on PS3 a while ago, but I thought I might as well do to the great customization but it just feels like somethings missing.. Blacklight Retribution: My favorite shooter of all time, Been playing for a year and a half now and I cant wait too play it on PS4! Beat: Saints Row 4: Saints Row 2 is my favorite game of all time and over time i've come to the conclusion was quite boring so I was very skeptical on 4, But I took the risk and I do not regret it! The game is simply fun. I thought that the powers were just a cheap add-on/ sad excuse for dlc turned into full game; but the more I found myself using them, I realized it's one of the best superhero games out there. The story is much improved for the third and is witty and im going to say it again, fun. I was also worried that i'd be sick of the map after playing SRTT for a while but the powers add verticality making the map feel new since you are now jumping roof top to roof top. Upcoming: GTA 5: The game seems technically amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on it. GTA Online is something me and my friends plan on spending hours upon hours playing so as I said before, Can't wait!
