I was going to sell each series individually, but I am missing 2 of the series 3 minimates (I think I gave cowboy Marty & cowboy Doc to my nephew) so I put everything into 1 lot, comes w/ some free extras I started fairly low $60.00 with a buy it now of $100, someone bid $60 within an hour of putting them up. auction will run for 7 days, so if any of you are interested, please bid!

anyone interested in the series 1, 2 or 3 of loose BTTF minimates? I am going to be putting a bunch of loose toys up on ebay soon, including most of my minimates, and I have BTTF series 1, 2 and 3 (all loose) and also a MM delorean. I see someone is asking upwards of $20 for a loose series 1 Doc - thats ONE figure! I am not that greedy lol. I will post here again when the auction is up.

same here. the paint apps this time around are not as clean and consistent as the movie line. I got my Egon/Ray 2 pack today and there are several spots where the paint is incomplete or wrong on both. originally I was very excited about the RGB line but I have seen lackluster results so far between the paint apps and parts not fitting together as they should. Ive always been able to stand my minis on lego pieces (see photo below, taken last night), but with Janine I had to take her boots off, and replace them with Sam Hains feet (plus this way he balances much better on his robes)

got three of the four 2 packs that I ordered today, Egon & Ray got shipped separately and will probably be here next week. upon opening them, there are a few things that bug me... some of the pieces dont stay connected very well, like Janines feet and one of my blue Terror Dogs feet. Slimers proton pack was a pain-in-the-ass to put on him, and the strap goes across what you could call his chin, not across his chest like it should. the Egyptian ghost proportions make it look more like a small action figure, the hands/arms and feet/legs are exaggerated and the sculpting is pretty detailed, when the whole appeal of minimates should be their minimalism... same with Boogieman, they did too good of a job and he seems more like a small figure and less like a minimate. and his hair piece doesnt fit very good. I wish Sam Hains legs were shorter (either that or just leave off the feet) because the feet stick out on the bottom and he doesnt stand very well, I took his feet off and he stands up (balanced by his robes) much better pros: the proton pack cords seem to be more lightweight and flexible, which is good. I like the new gun sculpt, just wish they couldve done a new pack sculpt too. I like the actual slimer minimate too.

went to my local TRU yesterday and I was quite surprised that they they had the vehicles, they had 3 of the "time-machines", 3 of the Terminator tanks and 2 of the jets - I ended up buying 2 of the Deloreans cause they look cool in the package, but once I got home and opened one Im not that impressed. I prefer the welly ones as far as scale goes (even though the figures dont fit inside) so I'll probably take the other one back, and buy the "frosted" one when it comes out, moreso for the radiation suit Marty figure then the car itself.

yeah I didnt notice that when I posted yesterday, but I was looking at it again last night and saw the comment on the decal sheet about #9 - I think you had a good idea about putting it on the top inside section of the door. and "gulf wing" was a typo, I know its gull-wing. my mistake.

anyone know the status of the upcoming BTTF minimates products? release dates? where to pre-order / buy? - BTTF time machine mini-vehicle w/ series 1 Marty - BTTF "frozen" time machine mini-vehiclew/ radioactive suit Marty - wave 4 figure set (radioactive suit Doc, 1955 Marty, 1955 Biff, Mr Strickland) I checked DST's website and it says the time machine w/ series 1 Marty is "exclusively from Toys R Us!" with an availabilty date of 5/26/2010...

doubtful, even if the new minimates vehicles sell well, its hard to imagine them making a four figure Ecto-1. I suppose they could do a "cute" 2 figure "chubby" version of the Ecto (like the Delorean looks like it fits 2 figs) but who knows...

It would seem Chuck knew you were going to ask this question and answered it in today's Q&A: (in relation to the full sized Delorean) 'We do not have the rights to the BTTF1 logo so used the logo from the second movie which of course features both versions of the car and the car is packed in a full window box so I am sure a detail oriented collector like yourself could see the difference simply by looking at the item. thanks, I remember now that my lights & sound "time machine" I got at toys r us months ago also had the BTTF2 logo even though it was the non-flux capacitor BTTF1 version

Im pleased to report that not only did I get all 4 boxes a week early, but they were completely unharmed, no smushed boxes and no broken parts.

I had pre-ordered TRU wave 4 back when they first appeared on the website, then last week I got a shipping confirmation for the Mayor / Subway ghost set... over the weekend I popped into the closest physical TRU and they had a full peg of GB minis, and with the exception of the wave 3 Vigo set they were all wave 4, so I snapped up one of each just in case something happened with my preorder... sure enough I check my mail monday morning and I got shipping confirmation emails for the other three wave 4 sets I had ordered, so now I'll have 2 of each, oh well...

Looking at the packaging pics, there are hoses connecting the blowers to the tanks. What bothers me, though, is Winston's skin color. (...*cough*...) This and Gooey Winston's skin are way too bright when compared to past releases. it's a 2" toy. try not to worry about the cmyk accuracy of skin color.

maybe a talented MM member can sculpt some slime streams.

Second! I've only played about 1/3 of the game but I really like the Rookie (even though he never speaks etc.). Be a great addition in my eyes. Other than that, I'm not sure at the moment. I like the T-1000 but I thnk they've covered all the major forms (though I wouldn't say no to more arm blades ). as long he has the "super-pack" from the game with the slime tube etc!

I pre-oredered all four sets on monday and today received a "these items are back-ordered" email about the Janosz and Mayor sets, total bummer.... but being that they arent scheduled for release until july, I'm sure we'll be updated before then with a "these items are back in stock" email and get them shipped to us instead of having to hunt them down in TRU stores...

its too bad that the DST wave 3 has been pushed back so much, wonder why?

my hat is off to you guys, for picking this up before us (over at gbfans.com) but we've had the 6" Walter Peck figure with Containment Unit accessory on our minds lately these all look great, Im particularly excited about the ghost that comes with the mayor and GB2 slime tank Ray - and I never gor the GB2 Venkman w/ shades so I'll be buying all these!

another set of BTTF 2 minimates appeared on ebay this week, and this time I won! final cost plus s&h is $30.95 (a little more then what I wanted to pay, but at least I dont have to hunt for them anymore)
