Has there been any kind of "official" word on if they are going to cover all the Star Trek series because if they release Borg Minimates or Klingons then i will seriously have to consider taking up Minimate army building...

That's what someone here needs to do, they need to make a custom scale beast of the Nazgul... Army of the dead would be cool, would be even better if they were done in the same see through green plastic that Gamma Hulk uses :tongue:

Well i started over at the Minimates Central messageboard, didn't post a great deal but it was a great atmosphere with really friendly, helpful people but unfortunately i had to disappear for a while, When i got back on the internet i was like one of the last ones to know about this place but eventually joined up because it was pretty much the same people from the MC messageboard and i thought why not :biggrin:

I've loved Minimates ever since i discovered that you could get a Minimate of Eddie from Iron Maiden (Thanks Danny). I started out with a few Minimates here and there but now i'm overrun with the little buggers, they're everywhere i look and it's kinds like that episode of "Malcolm In The Middle" where Dewey & Hal make the big city out of lego and Dewey uses the playmobil men as his own personal army up until Hal puts a stop to it after noticing Playmobil men everywhere. That's what this place is like, there's just Minimates everywhere on every available flat surface... So yeah, Minimates rule the roost just because they're so damn cool. So cool in fact that i've written a little song/rap dedicated JUST to Minimates... Minimates yeah, cos they're number one... 2 inches of plastic and a whole load of fun... With Spiderman, Wolverine and Venom too... They're running wild brutha, what you gonna do ? What you gonna try and do when the Minimania Runs wild over you ? WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Haven't actually picked any up yet and i'm probably one of the only people on the board who didn't pre-order a case... But i'll be picking up the Modern Cylons first just because i like the look of them over the Classic Cylons...

Dude, the Minimates in the LOTR line were only 2.5". Well, except for the Hobbits obviously Only one who was a 3" was Sauron...

I agree and it kinda reminds me of this one time when my pet monkey run away from me to eat a can of spam behind the outhouse, he sat there all day and munched that spam until the can of spam was empty. He came back home later that night and threw the empty can at my head which resulted in me being knocked out and being rushed to hospital. Apparently while i was on the way to hospital the ambulance driver got a phone call telling him that his wife had just shot the dog by accident, that ambulance driver wasn't pleased and shouted and cried all the way to the hospital where he crashed the ambulance into a wall with the end result being me flying out through the windscreen still strapped down to the stretcher where i rolled down the corridor until i reached the accident & emergency department. Now i don't know if this is true or not but i would bet my bottom dollar that it is true because that's just one of the crazy things that happens in my life... That's how you don't go off topic

Right, the first episode is on next Tuesday @ 9:00pm on Sky One UK and it's and hour and 50 minutes so i'm assuming that they are also planning on showing the Webisodes hence the extra 50 minutes... How long was the first episode of season 3 in America ?

Gotta say though that compared to last years Christmas Special this years sucked monkey balls in my opinion... I'm not a big fan of Catherine Tate* and to be quite frank i find her and her voice highly irritating, plus she's not funny as a comedienne in the slightest... *And being responsible for possibly the worst catchphrase ever spoken** automatically puts her on my Celebrity Deathmatch list just above Jamie Oliver and David Beckham. **Having to sit on the bus listening to stroppy 15 year old schoolgirls gabbing away on their mobile phones and arguing with their boyfriends/girlfriends and screeching at the top of their voices "But am i bovvered? Does my face look bovvered?" and sitting there hoping against all hope that the bus will crash or their mobile phone will explode...

Akira Minimates wouldn't go amiss but unfortunately as far as i'm aware they already exist as a Kubrick line Doesn't that make it MORE likely to be a minimate? (Cereal, Rocky, DC, et al) Unfortunately though if an Akira Minimates line was given the go ahead i doubt that we would get bikes which is to me an important part of Akira, especially Kaneda's...

Today's haul included Alternator Optimus Prime, Cybertron Optimus Prime and Megatron (Leader Class) and Battlestar Galactica Season 1 & 2 on DVD...

This is very likely how my Xmas would have turned out til I got proactive about a month back... I have 2 words to say about my new plans.... Vegas Baby! As for what I'm hoping to get... Lucky?! T. To be honest i'm quite looking forward to a Christmas on my own this year actually. For various reasons with the main one being not being able to spend the big day with my little boy it'll be nice to just have the day to myself and my thoughts with nobody around to disturb my reflective time...

The season finale went out on debut broadcast date: 08 Jul 2006, BBC One [uK] Doctor Who will return to our screens with a Christmas special in 2006 and another series of 13 episodes for 2007.
