  1. I got the two sets today in the mail, and WOW, these are great! I'm loving Hawkeye out of all of them the most, though, he just screams "win." I'm also glad they gave Thor the alternate head, since he's definitely my favorite Thor released. My Giant-Man was missing his Ant-Man helmet, though, I'm going to have to contact customer service about that.
  2. I found the whole set at the TRU in Joplin, MO. I've got to say, they're all really good figures, but Hawkeye really stands out. I love the bow quiver, really clever, and both of the faces are really nice.
  3. Found a fresh case at the TRU in Joplin, MO. Just got the exclusives. I can't wait to get them opened!
  4. I got a set of tickets for this year. I'm excited, to say the least, since it'll be my first time going.
  5. Managed to get the two non-exclusives ordered. Now to see if they actually ship.
  6. I'm betting on it being a single pack Comic Convention exclusive, similar to the Alice, and then maybe a Select figure. Either way, I'm curious to see how it'll go, but still disappointed in the license choice.
  7. Looks like Chloe Frazer from Uncharted's Shoulder Holster flipped backwards.
  8. Sorry for the small bump, but I felt like throwing this out. Say what you will about DST, but they are are some pretty awesome guys. I emailed them a few weeks back about getting a new pointy hand for my FA Iron Man, and today, to my surprise, instead of sending me the hand, they actually sent me the figure itself with the alt. hand included!
  9. Didn't Chuck say he wanted to do a Spidey Wave with a S.H.I.E.L.D agent Army builder? Do you guys think this is that wave? Anyway, what I'm thinking it could be... Spiderman Variant/Modern Lizard Another spidey/Morbius SHIELD Agent/Rhino Vaiant SHIELD Agent/Ultimate Rhino That's just my idea, though. The real thing will probably be MUCH different.
  10. Now that I think about it, I really like what I've seen of the set. The inclusion of the new swords is nice, and I'm glad Regular Deadpool can holster them. I don't really like how Champion looks, but Kidpool and Lady Deadpool look accurate enough. Kind of surprised Kidpool's swords are actually new sculpts, I was expecting reuses of Zero's from MVC3. I'm also glad to see Headpool being a regular Minimate head, as I was planning on trying to make a full-body ZombiePool with it.
  11. Seriously, can ANYBODY answer this for me? I feel like I"m totally being ignored here... I'm not EXACTLY sure if they match, but from the MMDB, Azrael looks a bit brighter than Mephisto.
  12. Straight from AFX's Facebook, looks like it's the Deadpool Corps! Action Figure Xpress New York Comic Con Marvel Minimates Exclusive from Diamond Select Toys - DEADPOOL CORPS MINIMATES! Wade Wilson, the merc with a mouth, is good at three things: violence, not dying and being a bit funny in the head. So when he was found to be the only one immune to the consciousness-destroying Awareness, he had to team up with his alternate-reality counterparts to form... the Deadpool Corps! Lady Deadpool was a rebel who fought against a fascist American government; Kidpool was a student at the Xavier Orphange for Troubled Boys; Championpool has mastered every form of combat in the galaxy and is virtually unbeatable; and Headpool is a disembodied head from a world where everyone is a zombie. This exclusive four-and-a-half-pack of 2-inch Marvel Minimates mini-figures unites the five members of the Deadpool Corps. Each figure (except Headpool) has 14 points of articulation. I'm kind of iffy on this set. I do like that they threw in Headpool, but the actual figures don't do much for me.
  13. Not sure if this was posted yet or not, but on AFX's site, on the Zombie two-pack's page, there's a shot of the alternate heads. http://shopafx.com/ny20exzomi2b.html
  14. Because those parts are "packaging" not build a mate. The previous MAX mates only came with clear parts required to hold spare pieces (arms, boots, jacket pieces, etc.) in a consistent and attractive way while in the package. The fact that they are clear mate parts is just a nice bonus. Yeah, I guess you're right. Ah well, more fodder is always good
  15. Well that's really....odd. Why include legs and a torso, but no crotch? Still looks like a fun set, though.
  16. Ooooh, that guy is REALLY annoying on DST's Facebook. I think he's posted more than DST themselves. :/
  17. Actually, I think Wave 25 Iron man would work just as well, and it'd be a bit cheaper.
  18. Really digging the new Packaging, but I'm more or less afraid if we have the same plastic issues as the last wave.
  19. Decided to take my shot at the contest, with Nick Fury, Agent of Shield #4, so please, enjoy! I'm missing a few details here and there, but I'm overall proud with it.
  20. ...ninjas? ...robots? Pirate-Ninja-Robot-Zombies?
  21. Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know I've reviewed Wave 41 over on Youtube, if any of you wanted to check it out. I've also reviewed the from Luke's Toy Store, so there's that, as well.
  22. I got the set today, and my Doc didn't come with glasses either, so I don't think he was supposed to. Probably just reusing whatever they had on standby for Doc heads, I guess.
  23. True, Chuck doesn't even mind when you call him 'mommy'. Try it. In the chat. Tonight. I dare you. ....I don't think I want to. >.>
