  1. Yeah, if this line is really dead, I will have some serious customizing to do to finish up the SF2: Turbo Edition line-up. I agree that Darkstalkers should have been a seperate line. I personally have no interest in Darkstalkers, and I can't help but feel they contributed to the lackluster sales.
  2. What type of theese is the moon made of?
  3. Can cereal with milk be considered breakfast soup?
  4. I was wondering why it started dancing when Bette Midler came on the radio! Or maybe it was writhing in pain...
  5. Part of me wishes the designs were closer to the originals, but another part of me can't help but admit they are nice designs...
  6. Last day guys - get those submissions in!
  7. I passed out at a party on Saturday night, and when I woke up, my index finger had swelled to eight times its original size and is the color of a dead whale. It is also peeling like an onion. It smells like a box of two week old Chinese food that ran through a sewage treatment facility and ended up in the discards bin at the local lyposuction clinic. What the heck happened to my finger?
  8. This is what happens when The Flash breaks wind as he is speeding along.
  9. Here is another addition to my "Minimate Maniacs" line of figures: Pyramid Head from Silent Hill! Pyramid Head is based on his movie appearance. His head is sculpted from milliput, with sheet plastic for the sharp edge along the bottom. His clothes are also cut from sheet plastic, and his sword is cut from a thicker piece of plastic. I painted him much differently than most minimates, but I wanted him to look really creepy. I used dry brushing, and also an old toothbrush to make him look bloody and dirty.
  10. I was welcoming him back to the minimate collective. We have added his biological distinctiveness to our own.
  11. What were your inspirations in creating the minimate body? Was the articulation the same throughout the design process, or did it change? What licenses were tossed around as ideas for possible minimate lines initially?
  12. Great work all around, but I especially love the G.I. Joe 'mates!
  13. TBT, you also have to factor in the mud type. Is it the gray clay-like mud of the open plains, or the brown organic refuse that came out of the elephant stall? The density and taste can greatly affect licking speed.
  14. Holy crap, that was awesome! I couldn't help but smile the entire time.
  15. Will eating pop rocks and drinking ginger ale kill you?
  16. From my ebay experience, about 1 in 500 things gets completely lost in the mail. I think those odds are small enough to give another Renfield a shot. I think we just ran into some bad luck last time.
  17. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? And does tongue skill factor into the equation at all? I'm pretty sure I could lick a muddy elephant clean in 4 minutes flat...
  18. Welcome! Watch out for ninjas...
  19. I can't wait to see your Hulk collection once you get the Sideshow PF Hulk.
  20. I am with Donny B. The marvel characters are the ones I grew up loving, so I tend to stick with marvel. When I am reading a Spider-Man comic, and suddenly the Thing charges in to help, it just warms my heart. I don't get that same feeling when I am reading Flash and Superman makes an appearance. I think the stories in DC have been excellent in the last few years, but they just don't make me feel the same way as marvel comics. I definitely think that DC is more organized and has a clear plan for the future. Marvel just kind of makes stuff up as they go along. I wish marvel could be more like DC in this way.
