Menace and anti-venom are really good guesses. I'm not interested in that set, but it feels likely.

I think we're getting rachel summer and nimrod for the fiery female and mechanical monster (bloodhound suit for the variant!). Siblings- Rogue and Nightcrawler? As for the mommy to be- Tigra or Misty Knight? The villian that was could be anything, maybe even Rama-Tut to really tease the Kang lovers.

Re: wave 28, consider that one an investment. I suspect those figures are only gonna go up in price. By the way, I received and opened up my own set of wave 28 today. These figures met and possibly exceeded my expectations. Each figure in the wave is amazing. I need more Skrulls, though! Good advice... unless the urge to have more skrulls overtakes me (a DISTINCT possibility).

After I returned from my LCS, waves 27 and 28 in tow, I recieved a shipping notification letting me know that CSC has shipped me my pre-ordered waves 27 and 28. :-) Patience should have been exercised here, but somehow I'll survive with duplicates.

Hmmmm.... Well thanks for the input guys. Based on their recent track record, it sounds like I've made a mistake with pre-ordering through them. I should track down 27 and 28 in some other way soon before they become hard to find.

I pre-ordered these from Corner Comic Store. There is still no sign of them and the are still listed as "pre-orders" o the site. Is this typical for them?

Anyone order from CornerStoreComics before? I pre-ordered the infinity gauntlet and set 25 (i think) from them this morning. Later on I checked the site and in my account there was no mention of my order. Is it normal for a pre-order to not show up or did something go wrong with my order (like me hitting the wrong button)?

As it is just called "Secret Wars" and does not specify itself as Secret Wars 1, anyone from any Secret Wars should be fair game, and thus the truest physical form of the Beyonder should be thrown in there. :-) That's lawyer talk. But yeah, I'd rather have a Klaw too. Maybe we should lobby for a villians starting with K.

It would be pretty lame to have a Secret Wars set without the Beyonder. He was what we call "crucial" to that storyline. Way more so than every other canidate.
