  1. Maybe a space is represented by one of the numbers...
  2. Damn... I was introduced to Minimates via MMC, and still use it for reference when buying older packs. Well, this is indeed a dark day for Minimate fans. Any chance one of the more prominent posters here would be able to take over the site?
  3. I'd buy tons of those. A Freedon Phalanx boxset? Hellz Yez. We could get; Statesman Manticore Sister Psyche Back Alley Brawler War Witch Synapse and we could go for an Arachnos set, too: Lord Recluse Captain Mako Ghost Widow Black Scorpion Sirocco Or maybe a thug box set? Hellions Skulls The Lost (Maybe in 2.5") Vahzilok Clockwork Hell, how about a big set with a crapload of generic 'Hero/Villain" pieces? You could make your own character!
  4. I play with them, nearly all the time. Thats' why I buy them. I don't just bash them together, I actually come up with Story Arcs and plotlines, which fuels my writing. I've got a ton of City of Heroes fanfics and comic book-style sketches that derive from mixing and matching Minimate parts In fact, my City of Heroes character is based on my Minimate version of him.
  5. The main gimmick with Speed Racer was the actual car. The Mach 5 had a buttload of gadgets that each had a use in a certain situation. The removeable canopy, the hawk, the traction wheels, the sawblades, etc... If we get another batch of SR Minimates in the future, we should get a Mach 5 with all (or most) of the add-ons that were in the show. I know they're planning a regularly-scaled Mach 5 /w 6-inch figure, but we friggin need a Minimate version.
  6. Are there products really that bad? I was hoping to grab a Shockini or two, but if they're bad, then I guess i'll pass. A line of figures based on Invincible would rock hard. Perhaps some City of Heroes 'mates? (Even though they aren't technically indy, they do have a comic produced by Image)
  7. If they Snapped right back on, then it wouldn't be a problem, would it? I'll just grab some extra and use a different torso piece.
  8. I check TRU and target, which is where I get most of my Minimates. Usually, if there's new stuff, I'll order a wave from Corner Store Comics, but mostly I get my stuff from Mass market.
  9. They look the same to me, although the Ares does appear smaller. I hope that it's just an illusion! Croc is clearly in the larger scale although the height of Batman's ears makes it seem like less of a difference. And Ares does seem to be in the 2" scale in this comparison pic but I think he's not pictured to scale. If you look at his arms they are thicker than Wonder Woman's which makes me think that although he looks like he's only 2", he will be in the 2.5" scale. If you look at WW's hair, it looks like it's giving some height to the Minimate, I bet Ares is in the 2.5 inch scale, it just looks like WW's taller because of the hair. Or maybe it's just Photoshopped, which is the most likely case.
  10. Sweet. I've got the TRU Packs, but i'm gonna order a full set of both waves from Corner Store Comics. I want that Imprisoned Sentry!
  11. I love the Street Fighter 'mates, adding to the fact that SF is one of my favorite fighting game series' of all time, with the Vs. Series conveniently being the first. The one problem I had with it is that I couldn't find the damn things until the 4-pack came around. I hope they do something like that for wave 2. If they release Wave 2. I needs me a Ken and a Dan. Or a Felicia and Talbot.
