  1. I would like to see Minimates for Star Trek Characters! One set would be Riker, Troi, LaForge and Worf from The Next Generation (TNG). Another set would be Data, Yar, Guinan & O'Brien also from TNG. From Deep Space Nine (DS9): Jadzia Dax, Bashir, O'Brien and Quark would be one set. Another DS9 Set: Morn, Kira, Rom & Keiko O'Brien. From Voyager (VGER): Set one: Janeway, Chakotay, Torres & Tuvok Set Two: 7 of 9, Paris, Kim & EMH exclusive two pack: Neelix & Kes Also Enterprise Crew would be nice as well and more aliens (Klingons, More Borg Drones, Salt Vampire and so on.
  2. Not about Marvel Minimates but still a dream set I would like to get in minimate form so I went ahead and decided to reply to this post. Captains Through the Ages for Star Trek: Captain Archer (Enterprise) Captain April (the first Captain of the USS Enterprise after it was NCC 1701) Captain Pike (to look more like Jeffery Hunter) Captain Kirk (from Star Trek the Motion Picture before he changed to the all grey uniform) and then a Bonus would be a two pack with Captain Janeway and Captain Riker - after he was promoted to the command of the Titan. or Trek Through the Ages: Commander Tucker from Enterprise Mirror, Mirror McCoy from TOS Lt. Worf from TNG Lt. Cmdr. Jadzia Dax from DS9 Seven of Nine from Voyager and a bonus two pack could be Neelix & Kes from Voyager or O'Brien & Keiko from DS9
  3. I have not see KITT or KARR in my local TRU yet. I have been looking all the time and I have never even seen them on the pegs yet. They have been released haven't they?? I want a KITT (non-SPM) but will get both as I know teh non-SPM is not out yet.
  4. I am still working, but I wanted to share my custom Movie Uniform Uhura (still need to paint earings but I am happy with her so far). I also have my attempt at making a decal however it is just paper that I glued to the chest and sharpie'd the arms to make my custom Troi. I used a Mirror Marlena's hair and a face from the small stock of heads I have, not sure where it really came from. Troi is pictured with my Insurrection Picard custom (who is mainly a head&hand swap with a Captain Sisko figure). I will be showing more once I get the decals from Luke and get my TNG Crew done, or at least those I can do for now. I am looking to see why my focus will not remain once I snap the images on my camera or I will see if I can use my wife's camera. I wanted to add to this topic by saying I started a new topic called "CaptainPaco's Customs" I will no longer be following this topic and will have all my customs posted in my new topic as well any I come up with in the future. Thank you for reviewing this topic and I hope you will follow my custom work with my new topic. Live Long and Prosper.
  5. I ordered some custom Star Trek TNG decals for my customizing ideas. Soon, once they arrive I will be working to get my figures made. Riker will be the easiest in my opinion. I am going to try Dr. Crusher and Data for now. I do have a DS9 O'Brien decal coming as well. I also plan on doing a part swapping to make VGER Chakotay and Paris to go with my custom Janeway. I will be working on a LaForge as well. Once I get all them done, I will look to work on a Mugatu and Worf. I have not received the decals as of this posting but I ordered them from Luke314pi and I know they will make my other customs like second-class mates. I can't wait for them to arrive, as I am rushing home from work every day to get the mail. I will attempt to snap all new photos of my slew of customs once I am done with my TNG crew.
  6. I was reading several posts today and decided I would start one to voice my interest in getting classic television series characters made in minimate form. I would like to see "The Dukes of Hazard". The mates could be arranged in a few boxed sets: 1) Bo and Luke with the General Lee, 2) Boss Hog and Cleetus with Boss' convertable, 3) Daisy Duke and Uncle Jesse with Daisy's Jeep, 4) Roscoe & Enus with a police car. Next I would like to see "Stargate SG1". Col O'Neill, MAJ Carter, Dr. Jackson and Teal'c could be one box set, then GEN Hammond, Dr. Fraiser, Bra'tac & Walter could be a second box set. Then they could make Teal'c in Jaffa attire, Gen O'Neill, COL Carter & COL Mitchell as a third box set. Then to round it out a fourth box set could be Gen Landry, Vala, Ra and Anubis. There could be a fifth box set of four different Jaffa Warriors all with the different headdresses that were shown on the show. Next would be "CHiPs": Ponch & John in a box set with Minimate motorcycles, then you could do a box set of four of the major supporting characters: SGT Getraer, Officer Barry Baricza, Officer Bonnie Clark & Harlan Arliss (he was the Mechanic). A Boxed set of the Classic TV series "Land of the Lost" would be nice. Would be Rick Marshall, his son, Will, and his daughter, Holly, & Cha-ka. That would be enough for me. "Otherworld" is a long forgotten television show but I would like to see minimates in a boxed set of five figures and then a single two-pack. The boxed set would be the Sterling Family, Hal, June, Trace(son), Gina (daughter), & Smith (youngest son). The two-pack would be Kommander Kroll & Lt. Zero. I just think they would be great to have in any form be it minimate or standard action figure size. "M*A*S*H" would be a series I would love to see Minimates make. Several two packs could come from this. 1)BJ & Hawkeye, 2)Hot Lips & Frank Burns, 3)COL Potter & Klinger, 4)COL Blake & Radar, 5)Trapper John & Winchester, 6) Father Mulcahy & Nurse Kelly Yamato. Could do a chaser figure of Klinger in a dress and could include a way to have parts of jeep included in each package that could be assembled for a Jeep to represent the Jeep that Radar shipped home in peices. "Doctor Who" is a series that could be successful in minimate form and would provide a lot of options for figures. I would like all the doctors and their companions in mate form as well as the major bad guys. I think all of these television series are worthy of minimates. I know some of you don't agree but this is where you can drop your ultimate Minimate TV series Wish-List. I would also like to see "The A-Team", "The Munsters", "The Addams Family" and believe it or not but I would like to see "The Flintstones". However I am always for more Star Trek minimates. I would really like to see the shuttlecraft from TOS still get made because we got a teaser for it. However, I would like to see TNG and DS9 Mates made because I am really wanted to complete the crews of each. VGER mates would be cool as well because Neelix would be an interestign mate. (as Quark would be for DS9)
  7. Luke: LOVE THE STARGATE MATES!!!!! I wish I had a set. The Weird Al mates are equally awesome. Love your work and wish I had the time, talent and funds to do them. However, you are a hard guy to beat so I will just admire your AWESOME work! Thank you for sharing.
  8. would have to use the Sulu torso and arms as opposed to just swapping the arms. the color of Kirk's uniform doesn't match the yellow used for Sulu and Chekov. I am going to make the correction but at the time I did not have an extra yellow uniform other than a Captain's but I am going to change once I get my second Sulu delivered. Thank you for the direction and advice.
  9. I would love to know what program you are using to draw up the images of mates you have? I would love to see a concept image of Quark from Star Trek Deep Space Nine in minimate form as well as a Klingon with a ridged forehead. Thank you for the great artwork.
  10. Awesome Santa!!! I was starting work on a custom Santa but I now will mimic your Santa when finishing mine. I sort of like the idea of Holiday Themed Minimates. I would purchase them. Santa, Easter Bunny, Leprechaun, Cupid, Uncle Sam would all be awesome in Minimate form. As for the turkey: Could be a Pilgrim and Native American two pack. We do get Halloween minimates from the Universal Monsters, which I only get the ones from Toys R Us and then use most of the extras as parts but I change my display at work for Halloween to be Ghostbusters and Monsters and I get compliments all the season. Thank you for the Cool-looking Santa mate.
  11. I will look into that because I need to be able to sculpt without damaging my work. Thank you.
  12. I am truly in awe of your Andorian. I made two myself but I used a blue paperclip cut to be the antennea and used Atlantian Solders for the heads and hands. I like all of your Trek creations. I wish I was that patient. I am throwing this out there as well since I know you had to sculpt your antennea on the Andorian and it was likely easy, but I am trying to make a Mugatu and I can't get the putty off the mate without damaging my design. How do you sculpt and remove to bake without damaging the sculpting you did on the mate?
  13. Here are some of the new quick customs I have been working on. My modified Captain Janeway (different hairpiece from last image posted) Trials and Tribble-ations Captain Sisko TOS Doctor M'Benga I will share more later.
  14. I have made a Janeway with the Commander Sisko body and Boomer's hairpiece and I forgot whose hand and face. I am in the process of trying to make a Deanna Troi but it is not going well with my attempt to make decals. I also made Captain Sisko from "Trials and Tribble-ations" I wish they would make more TNG Minimates and DS9 Minimates. I would welcome Any New Non-Kirk and Non-Spock Star Trek minimates.
  15. Well, I hope to get a custom made Mugatu done soon. I have done a few simple head swaps and have now made McCoy and Spock from the episode "Bread and Circuses" to go with Gladiator Kirk. I have ordered some swords for them and will be paining sheilds for them soon to match the color they each had in the episode. I have made Bele and Loki from "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" but they are are merely on a few extra Pike bodies for now until I decide I want to paint two bodies grey. I have not modified my Andorians since I made them but have been pondering that action. I have two TOS/TOS Movie era Romulan-looking mates. I am going to attempt to make a new skirt for an Orion Woman since I have one that did not come with a skirt in set of bodies/parts I got from TM2 Dinobot. I have ordered a few minimates to use for parts. I am going to try to make M'Ress, who was the feline crew member on the Animated Star Trek Series but I will make her as I think she would look with some Uhura and Cheetah parts. I am also working on a Regular Universe Marlena Moreau and Mirror Universe Nurse Chapel. Just can't get the hair the way I feel it needs to be. I will post images of them all as soon as I get them done and photographed. Have a good day.
  16. I made a purchase from TM2 Dinobot for some Star Trek Mate Parts (mainly bodies). He filled my order with 100% satisfaction on my end. I have already stared making my custom crewmembers for a display I am working on. Thank you very much TM2 Dinobot.

  17. I really like the Sulu, Chekov and Cheron you made in the 3" format. I wish I had enough extras of the 3" mates to make some customs but I only got three sets, one to open, and then one set sold in plastic cylinders and then a set sold on cardbacks. I only wish I had more to make customs. Thank you for sharing and I wish they woudl have make more in that size format.
  18. Okay, I figured it out to only have one set but get as many characters out of it as possible. It would be a four figure set. The set could be Riker, Troi, Data, and Worf. You make Riker but have an extra head & hairpeice for Wesley Crusher. You make Troi but have an extra head & hairpeice and lab coat with matching arms for Dr. Crusher. You make Data but have an extra head & hairpeice for Chief O'Brien (or Barclay if you think O'Brien should not be made until we get DS9 mates). You make Worf but have an extra head & hairpeice with Visor for LaForge. This way you only have one set to sell but you can get people to purchase at least two sets but people like me would likely get four sets. Then you can make a bonus exclusive set to have Guinan & Yar. Or there could be a Vilian Set as well: Klingon, Romulan, Ferengi and Q would be a great set that could be exclusive to say TRU.
  19. On Friday, I went to TRU and got four Lego Minifigures from set three. I felt each package to see if I could feel the scropion and the banana. As I only wanted the Mummy and the Gorilla. I ended up geting one Gorilla, one Mummy, one Alien (which was on my list but not a must have) and one Elven Warrior (calling him that due to his hair peice having pointed ears.) I would like to find the cyborg and the samuri warrior and maybe the Native American Chief. I am sure over the short time they are in the store I will be able to get back and feel my way into a few more figures I would like.
  20. Maybe we will see the return of DC minimates with the Green Lantern Movie? Would love the big surprise to be the return of Star Trek mates, but I could live with Green Lantern movie mates and then follow those with DC mates coming back. I dream, but that is what I would be surprised by. GI Joe mate would be cool as well. But I doubt we ever see Star Wars mates.
  21. I got my Disney Store Exclusive Minimate set "The Classic Heroic Age" Set yesterday. I like the Captain America much better in this set than the "Modern" set. Thor is better as well. I am not sure about which Iron Man I like better. But Spiderman is better as classic than he is as a modern. Hope you are all enjoying your sets if you ordered any or such.
  22. After reading everything on this site, I ordered a set of the Classic Heroic Age minimates from the Disney Store just af few minutes ago. I found the Heroic Age set at Toys R Us. I must admit that I do not recall seeing the Captain America with black in his costume, but I never really read the comic loyally. I just had to have each set to put on my desk at work. I display them and wanted to upgrade to add some heroes other than just DC heroes. I have Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and Aquaman at work with my Star Trek and Ghostbusters sets. I have the new set of the Fantastic Four and so with them and the Classic Heroic Age figures I willl make a larger display. I hope that my set comes in alright but I feel it will come in while I am out of state and my wife will get upset. She hates it when I purchase minimates outside of my normal Star Trek collection. Well, I hope all is going well for the rest of you getting the set.
  23. I wish I had more time and money to make more Customs for Star Trek Minimates. I really like your Trek Customs I am trying to figure out how to make some Klingon customs. I was even thinking of how to make a BSG and Trek Amalgan characters Such as Dr. McCoy and Doc Cottle would become Doc McCoytle. Spock and Tigh would become Tock and so forth but I don't have enough parts for all of that as I keep at least one of all my trek minimate whole and only use triples and such as parts. Thank you for sharing your minimate customs. I did not save packaging but yours look great in the packaging even. Thank you.
  24. I have sort of dropped the ball on my customs. I am skipping my Deanna Troi and Bele/Loki. I have made a revamped Orion Slave Girl, simply did a repaint of her dress and swapped her hair with Cheetah's and make the ears green. I did a head swap to get Kirk as he appeared in "Where No Man Has Gone Before". I made a few modifications to a second Borg mate to make him look a little different. I am also in the mood to use Namor's Hair and Sarek's head to mae a Romulan form the TOS era. I hope to have some time over the holidays to tinker with my ideas and then hope to share some images with you here. Matty-lad, you have a great looking set of customs for City on the Edge of Forever, Kirk and Spock is very nice. I was thinking of making a Kirk but was at a loss for how to pull off Spock with the cap. I like Lt. Givers as well.
  25. I hope the new movie and the 25th anniversary of TNG will bring Star Trek Minimates back to us. I really want TNG and DS9 mates.
