I should add, despite my jaded response, that everyone should see SDCC once in their life. But once should do you. And forget what that English bloke says: I'm a great roommate! He's just mad because I kept putting out my GitD acquisitions which kept him awake.

I hear you monkeycrumb. Despite being a left coaster, my SDCC days are done -- it's been New York Comic Con for me. Just enough smaller to still be enjoyable, the only things missing are the big studio sets (and many of the stars).

I suspect Luke is having to experiment with axis of rotation. Do you print the sledgehammer laying flat, or with its head down and the handle up in the air? Maybe put the whole thing at an angle? I don't know the answers, it will be interesting to hear what he discovers. It's all about how the machine combines those many layers.

That's a perfect way to summarize them. I love the Seventh Kingdom, but have no room for figures that size, so MM Battlebeasts are a dream realized.

These are actually Xevoz-compatible. Meaning they are larger than Stikfas and the ball joints snap into Xevoz. At least, that's what the literature says, I don't actually own any.

I just found Transformers Combiner Kreons at my local TRU. These are boxes that contain 4 of the Mico-Changer Kreons, plus you can combine them into one larger Transformer. Haven't put mine together yet, but it looks pretty cool.

Found the TRU wave in Everett, WA, but Janeway was gone. Which means I'm putting the call out: if any of you fine 'Versers have an extra Janeway/7 set, I'd sure be interested.

Whatever you do, do NOT use electrical tape. The glue on such is too soft and will squish out over time.

Actually, the Character Building Daleks look pretty good alongside Minimates. Maybe a little short, but they're a good compromise between prefect fit and availability.

This is a great summary of how I feel about what Abrams has approached this. Frankly, he's not a director, he's a producer who directs. It seems like he's more interested in building a money-machine than telling a story.

Those figures have codes printed on the back of the bag, in this case across the top. Even if you don't know who each code signifies, if you buy one of each number you will get all six characters.

Best crossover ever. Ever. These guys have survived many paring-downs of my collections.
