I already have the whole TOS cast in MM form. I don't have a real desire to collect them all again. As much as I love TOS, I was really excited that 'Trek MM were branching out beyond TOS tv show, but then it ended. If these 1:18 scale Playmates figures are really nice AND branch out past TOS then I might be tempted, but I doubt they will do either.

While that's interesting it's not enough to get me excited yet. If they just picked up some overstock from somewhere, then no surprise that it's series 3. It always seemed like the weakest wave to me. It's the one wave that I didn't buy any of. I wonder if ST 'mates would have done better if they had skipped this wave and gone straight to wave 4.

I don't suppose there was any new about this line at Comic-con? I assume that if there was someone would have posted something already, but I thought I'd check anyway.

I wouldn't be too interested in vehicles. Anything larger than fighters wouldn't really work and fighters aren't that common in ST. Bridge playsets, on the other hand, would be awesome. However, all I really need are the 'mates themselves.

I'm not interested in BSG 'mates, but I'm gonna cross my fingers that this will be good news for Star Trek 'mates.

I'll be heart broken if this is the end of Star Trek 'mates. They were just starting to get really awesome. I have to agree that Wave 3 probably didn't help this line. It was the only wave that I didn't buy any of. It was a few minor characters that I was luke warm about at best and of bunch of boring Kirk and Spock variants. Waves 4 and 5 were getting me really excited for the future of Trek 'mates. I love TOS, but I think they should have expanded into the other series sooner. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for some good news.
