As much as I love Nintendo and these Amiibo figures, the mess/chaos of preorders and the lack of available product makes me hope that we never get Nintendo Minimates. Don't get me wrong, a Zelda or Metriod minimate line would be a thing of beauty but expecting to actually be able get all the figures you want would be futile. Nintendo would find a way to make things difficult. Let's take one of the princesses (Rosalina) that fans, especially little girls, will definitely want and make her an exclusive so they sell out quickly and only become available on secondary markets at inflated prices. Bonus points if the retailer (Target) will leave the promo signs for this line up for months to remind these young fans that they were available for a hot minute but the store will never/ever/in-your-lifetime have them in stock again. Oh an Pokemon seems to be a fairly popular brand, especially among young boys/girls, let's make several of them (Lucario, Jigglypuff & Greninja) exclusive as well instead of widely available. Surely they're going to want to "Catch 'Em All" and what better way for them to drown their tears of sorrow away than acquiring through secondary markets so they can use them for what they were actually intended for ... PLAYING WITH THEIR GAME CONSOLES & GAMES! Can you tell, as a parent and fan, that this line pisses me off a bit Btw, yes, I've found a Rosalina for my little princess; traveled a county away and thank goodness the packaging was damaged (which we threw in the trash anyways) so only paid double retail price So far my son's Pikachu looks like he will be the lonely Pokemon amiibo we have until Charizard is out (hoping at least he will be widely available).

Basically any set/figure that has not already been reviewed on the site yet is fair game at all times. Reviews along with specials would work. You can post your review in this thread or post a link to your review.

Wizard World Raleigh was last weekend and we got some cool stuff. Batman '66 artist Sandy Jarrell did a beautiful Batgirl commission for my daughter, picked up a Walking Dead print by Arthur Suydam for an uncle that's a huge fan of Daryl, a Megaman Zero art print for my son and got former Marvel editor-in-chief Tom DeFalco to sign a couple of my favorite comics. My daughter got a bunch of signatures from the artists there too, I'll have to take a picture of the Deadpool balloon Rob Liefeld did, she got a kick out of that one.

I tried to resist but they're just too awesome. Now the fun part of trying to find the ones we want. Has anyone had luck finding the latest releases? The figures my kids want most (Rosalina, King Dedede & Mega Man) I've had no luck finding, save for scalpers selling at inflated prices

^Just parts of different minimates (mostly Professor X, Uruk Hai, Zik & Halo figure) going through the evolution of the line over the years: puzzle piece, non-C3 foot, C3 foot, 2 1/2 inch figure, sculpted legs and arms. The statue look is from can of Rust-Oleum Hammered paint & primer spray. The figures should be movable/poseable (except the super glued feet) they're just caked with paint.
