  1. Ooh. Rough one Luke. If you could somehow pull the rubber up high enough, the shins can be pulled out from the knee pegs with some force (the knee pegs are also simply pegged into the thighs). And the shins seem to be a pretty standard size for the narrow shouldered True Types.

Here's a pic I found that shows you what the peg looks like:

Word of warning though--those knee joints are fragile as hell. I just broke one a couple days ago, and have broke 3 or 4 overall without doing too much to cause it.

    Hey guys!

Just so you know, the newer trutype bodies have improved strength in the knee joints. From platoon Chris Taylor on, the joints are stronger.

  2. Hey guys, I'm in need of help trying to find a Doctor Who Cyberman backpack for my son Shawn. He loves watching Doctor Who and his favorite characters are the Cybermen.

I'm trying to find him a backpack for when he starts 1st grade in September. Any help is appreciated.

I've checked online and am having NO luck

  3. Not to highjack Rob's thread, but I'm also going to be saying goodbye to the mmmv.

Got alot going on in my 1:1 life, and I kinda want to put a gun in my mouth.

Anyhoo, I will sorely miss your wit, wisdom, and general kindness Rob. And I mean that sincerely, from the bottom of my black heart.

If you want, Rob, pm me and I'll give you my email, and other ways of staying in touch. If you don't want to, I can understand that too.

    Doc

  4. I IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!

As for the Mark IV Hand, there aren't many places that part out the Iron Man armor figures.

Here are a few places that might.

    Toy anxiety

    Monkey Depot

Evilbay (Probably your best option for the time being, although Toy anxiety hopefully will be parting them out.

    Sideshow freaks.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

  5. My wife is kind of the same way as yours K80. She really doesn't collect anything but she knows how passionate I can be about my stuff. It seems like decades ago now, but I sold off a lot of my complete vintage GI Joe Adventure Team and Action Man stuff to buy her a nice engagement ring. She loved the ring (and said "yes" of course) but was not happy about me selling my stuff to buy it. She was especially upset because I sold my Action Man Argyll and Southerland Highlander as it took me years to complete, but she got over it...

Diamonds usually have that effect on the fairer sex.

My wifey actually likes it when I sell some of my hobby stuff, although I am also lucky because there are certain pieces that I told her that I was going to get rid of to fund my hobby and she literally told me that if I got rid of my favorite piece (Sideshow Doc Holliday 1/6th figure) she would physically assault me. It was sweet.

  6. oooooh! I likey lists.

Here are my 5 in no particular order

Clarence Boddicker (this way I can also do a Red Foreman bash from That 70's Show)

    Pinhead

Slipknot (I know, this is actually 9 figures, but Luke got away with the Beatles, so bite me)

    Lord Darkness

    Tombstone version of Doc Holliday

  7. "My advice to you would be to stay as far away as possible from Hot Toys figures. It is a slippery slope, and if you like having money, then you won't like liking Hot Toys."

Great advice. Where the heck were you a year ago? :D

    you were warned.

You decided to not heed the advice of fellow 1/6th junkies

  8. v.much looking forward to getting the Cannonball set... still think Warlock's headpiece looks like a carton of McDonald's fries

Anyone else think Warlock's head looks like an order of fries?

I'm glad someone else said it! :)

I'd love to have the magik 2pack. and the Wolvie 2 pack.

But more importantly, now I REALLY want a Hamburgler minimate :(
