  1. All this talk of not buying minimates is depressing me. My brother has two kids now and he had to stop collecting toys all together. Nooooooooooooo!
  2. It's no big deal. I was having a few drinks and was trying to be fun and spice sh*t up. Damn you beer! But, I did get the answer on the bottle. Check the above posts.
  3. Thanks for this info! I found some great deals on bigbadtoystore.
  4. Hey Jason, Can I chip in? We're a pretty friendly bunch and we're more than happy to have you here... I suspect that some of the comments are due to you being a little ( don't take this the wrong way) over enthusiastic, we're a pretty mellow bunch and the vibe here is pretty grownup and relaxed so you're coming across as a bit hyper, tone it down a notch or two and we'll all get along great. Some of the comments are because they were also asked to tone it down some and are actually trying to be helpfull in their own way. T. Thanks.....you know man....I'm a huge fan so maybe I need to sit back and lurk moar, I guess. No thang. Kisses, Paw Paw Jason
  5. Thanks for the info. The boys at Art Asylum and Diamond need to step their game up. Now don't blame them. The retail stores just don't want them. They usually don't sale well on their own outside their niche market (IE Comic Fans) and stores such as Wal-Mart and Target have dropped them before. So it's not DST's fault, it's the store's wurd. yep it is a new record....four posts and I hate this kid. like your mantle though... good collection. Hmmmm...maybe I'm getting old. I don't understand the hate in this board. I signed up today and thought "this is the place to ask all my minimate questions". It's 50/50 right now. Half the time you get normal honest answers from ppl who collect these toys. The other half are fucking assholes that are trying to be hard and tough and try put you in your place when you ask a simple question. Strange. I thought that's why you have a honest board like this to talk about things you love.

  7. What? I posted a very simple question in "new topic". I got an answer. The end.
  8. Thanks for the info! I remember seein the ad like crazy before it was released. I thought maybe I missed something.
  9. Ok. My bad on the pics. I thought it was funny. All in good fun son.
  10. Say again? Are you sure? I have the Iron Man (2008) "Through The Ages" box set and no bottle came with it. I remember seeing Tony Stark dressed in a suit with armour underneath holding a bottle in the toy mags. Is that a minimate?
  11. I have the Iron Man Through The Ages 4 pack (2008) and some of the Iron Man movie packs. But, I thought there was a Tony Stark boozin it up with a bottle minimate? What's the story morning glory? Kisses, Paw Paw Jason
  12. bible-man!!!! oh and welcome sir! Oh...er...oh...uh...yeah, that's a joke. I hope ppl understand that. PS My Marvel minimate army is attached! Enjoy!!
  13. Thanks for the info. The boys at Art Asylum and Diamond need to step their game up.
  14. In Houston, I can only find Marvel minimates at Toy R Us and my local comic book shop. What happened to Wal mart or Target? jason4444 PS Attached is my Marvel minimate army.
  15. I remember them on clearance at the local "Children's Palace" going for $2 a piece or something. . .but I think all they had was everyone's favorite not-yet-Minimate Kang, Doc Ock, and Magneto. Vintage peg warmers. Wish I had more Super Powers!! I always thought it was strange that the Secret Wars (1984) line was not worth more money. I know Electro, Constrictor, Iceman and Wolverine were/are worth more. You have to remember at this time we didn't have much on the action figure front. GI Joes were strong but Marvel was huge in the mid 80's. And at this size it was crazy different than the 3 3/4" lines. Just sayin. Just happy to be here, jason PS Dude, Super Powers have always been crazy hot! They have always been a great return on eBay and whatnot. I'm trying to rebuild my collection from the 80's. I'm buying em loose and they are still crazy high.
  16. Yeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaw! Thanks brotha. Here is a pic of my Shoguns. Old timers unite!
  17. I'm new to this place and I'm glad to be here! I have collected toys (action figures) my whole life. Anyway, I need a safe place to lurk so I'm picking this place cos I love Marvel minimates. I have about 200 Marvel minimates right now. At first when I saw the minimates in Toyfare, I was like, these are retarded. But then I bought my 1st box and I was hooked. I even tear em out of the box and that's hard for an old collector like myself. Kisses, jason
  18. Awesome! Thanks man, I have been looking for a good check list for some time.
