  1. Can't wait to see the Life Foundation Symbiotes! They're the only non-x-men Marvel Legends I've collected. I don't know if she counts as a 'Robot', but Cylla Markham is sorely missing from *any* toy line. She's just so toyetic.
  2. Love seeing the most prolifically represented character being turned into someone a little more niche/obscure for the fans. Beautiful work as always, man.
  3. Really keen to see the box art on this set. I think it'll be killer.
  4. Apparently we've had cigars from the very beginning! Ol' Fisk had one in the first ever wave of Marvel Minimates (Hail Ivan). His was a permanent fixture, sculpted into the hand. Interestingly... his cigar smoking hand was obscured in the packaging behind Daredevil's (Praise Ivan). I wonder if this was a deliberate choice to get it past the licensors? Doing a quick search for 'cigar' on MMMV, I was actually surprised by how many smokers there were in the Miniverse. And @minimateship is correct - we did also see a loose cigar accessory with Clobberin' Time Thing (Glory be to Ivan).
  5. Such sad news. I didn't get to know him very well, but I follow his insta and his Minimate photography is just amazing. Gonna miss his creativity and talent. RIP, buddy.
  6. Ha ha, Right! The wave has some odd choices... but I love that they're including some classics from the vault. Interestingly, most Australian ML distributors have announced that they are not being supplied with this wave. It seems that Hasbro might be making smaller quantities going forward?
  7. That would be Miles Morales Spider-Man. Apologies for the pic cutting him off. I wasn't actually there IRL, and this was shared with me by someone who was actually getting a photo of Archangel.
  8. So.... are we talking about this yet?
  9. YAAASSS! I was desperate for that X-Men Animated Sinister. @DSTZach has stated a few times that they were still trying to find a home for the set. I feel like that'll be easier once X-Men '97 starts airing on D+.
  10. I can't explain why but that is one of my most loved 2 packs. When I eventually part with all of my non X-Men related minis, I suspect these are two I'll hold on to.
  11. They look perfect! These are going to make SO many people here SO happy.
  12. I mean... the Slingers had a little reunion moment in the late 2010s with Scarlet Spider. Despite my near constant cry out for more female characters and more villains, I think a set featuring Ben Reilly, Dusk, Hornet, Prodigy & Ricochet would look pretty hot!
  13. There's a real convergence of 'cashing in on current hype' and 'the tooling already exists' for a lot of characters. While looking into some characters from the X universe that are missing from both my Minimates collection and my Legends collection, I came across this Joseph figure. Apparently a C-list magneto clone was popular/easy enough to make in the 90s. But sometimes, you get absolute wildcards that make no sense in terms of either tooling or hype. Like Amphibious?!?!? 🤯 The 90's really was a wild time for toys. Anyway - to keep this post on topic, here are some more characters that I don't think have ever had articulated figures: Dr Cecilia Reyes might be a good candidate? I also don't think we've ever officially had Tessa/Sage. I've mentioned here before, but Tempo feels like a good candidate now with her recent run on Krakoa. She could come with two helmets for a classic MLF look or a current Marauders look. Then I'll take Beak, Angel, Dust, Surge, Anole, Bling, No-Girl, etc...
  14. Huh! That's actually pretty clever... I can't believe no-one's thought of that before.
  15. Congratulations folks. There's some very serious talent in our little community.
  16. Damn! What a great group. Choosing a top 4 was really tough! I'm in awe of the costomising community here. Congratulations to everyone who entered. You made it very difficult to vote.
  17. Hello fellow toy fans - apologies for doubling up on posts, but I'm a wee bit desperate. I'm hoping to beg a favour from anyone heading to SDCC. I am trapped in a land far, far away but am very keen to get my hands on some exclusives. Specifically, the Marvel United Mystery Deck. If anyone is going and has room in their luggage for a deck of playing cards, I can offer shipping costs, toy karma and I'm happy to work out a finders fee if you need one. edit: And @Onyx_6 is looking for a set too!
  18. Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere else already, but this came up in my Marvel United group as a possible display option: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fantasydesigns/modular-display-case-3d-printable The display cases themselves look like they could be great for Minimates, but I was particularly taken with the Hex risers: There are a bunch of different themes for the displays and displays and the risers: Eldritch horror, gothic cathedral, dungeon, dwarven, etc... They are really dependant on having a 3D printer tho, which kinda counts me out, but I was wondering if anyone here had backed them?
  19. It was fantastic! So good to meet folks IRL for the first time ❤️
  20. As a 30yo who was handed a minimate at the DST booth one time, over a decade ago... I can absolutely second this notion. I was giddy with excitement ❤️ (Zach may have been slightly less giddy about handing one out to a grown adult, tho 🤣)
  21. UNF! I hate how much I want this! I could pass on another Beast or Omega, but Team X (Mav, Logan & Creed) with Silver Fox and Shiva (Talos in the animated series) would reel me right in. Anything that gets us started on the MLF gets a thumbs up from me.
  22. CH'OD!!!!!!!! 😍 edit: ANOLE AND BEAK!!! WHA 😍😍😍 (I should have kept reading before posting my excitement)
