I figured out my bills. So I'm probably gonna pick up the building set. I'll try to post some pics(need digital camera, need digital camera....grumble). The nice thing is the SM3 minis are going to be available this week. :biggrin: Oh I forgot to mention the set comes with the police van(as seen in the trailer), hopefully it's to scale.

Lego are better building blocks, but...... they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I'd love to get an Arkham Asylum set and modify it for minimates. So I go with Mega bloks. Oh well, to each his own. :biggrin:

TRU, Target, Comic shops, Ebay, Online stores(cornerstorecomics.com, stukakid.com, shopafx.com, amazon.com- I could go on and on. :tongue: Do a google search for some online stores. And as always Happy Hunting!

They had the building set. Since the figs. are more minimate size, I'm guessing the building is more accurate for MM. Although I have the Goblin set form before, and the doors are over-sized for the "mutant Lego" figs. that came with it. The only other sets they had were the Mecha robots(9.99 ea.). There are 3 vehicle sets also. I couldn't find any info online(i.e. tru.com or megabloks.com) I'll probably pick up the building set($30.00) Ouch!!!! :tongue:

I like Kubricks. I buy some for scale purposes(i.e. Apocalypse, Omega Red, Juggernaut, Man-Bat, etc. They work enough for me.(lack of articulation not withstanding) :tongue:

My local TRU got in some sets of SM 3. The big set($30.00) has Sandman, Spidey, and a cop. The figures are more like the Lego +4 size, but they're articulated like minimates(cool). They also had 2 Mecha-style robots(one red& blue, and One black- each comes with a figure-also articulated). There are 3 vehicle sets also. Happy hunting if you're interested.

scifigenre.com is another good place, I purchased form them a number of times. They still have some C3 stuff. Happy hunting. p.s. youbuynow.com is another good site.

DC Direct seems to have updated the release dates for the first three waves of DC mates wave 1 Feb 21st wave 2 Mar 21st wave 3 apr 18th Glad to see the future a little more clearly.

I think(hope) that Starbuck might be this years John Stewart. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I know but I didn't want to buy the other sets for the chairs. Besides Hawkman is more JSA, oh well Batman and Hawkman can fight it out. hee hee. :biggrin:

I got one when the C3 stuff was coming out. If you don't want to buy the Batman or Superman sets just put stickers or decals over the Hawkman and Atom chairs.(that's what I did) I found Superman stickers at TRU near the birthday stuff. The Batman sticker came from a Lego set. Solved my problem.

Pretty much like Santos's custom. The back has stuff on it to. I would put up a photo, but I haven't got a digital camera. Maybe I'll scan it and post it. I was really surprised that I got all the stuff I did. I'll try to get the photo up Sunday night.

I called the number on the website. They sent me the DVD in a case with the artwork, just as if I bought it. I also got aDVD of other projects in a slipcase, and an enrollment brochure. Oh, plus the batman mini. Those guys are great. :biggrin:

Just bought one today, Also snagged a MEGA BLOKS Dragons set(the one with dueling monsters), It has a throne for Doom. Pretty sweet. Thanks for the idea.

My first post in a while. Rules are O.K., but people will find ways around them. Then there'll be complaints that they are being ganged up on. It could start to get ugly. We're all here for the same reason-- MINIMATES

This is good news. I can't wait to get more mates closer together. I don't mind the reuse of parts either, I just wish they could get more mates out a year if they do.

Please people, I don't want Ady to eat any minimates!! If something bad happened(God forbid) who would run this site? By the way Ady how'd that hat thing turn out???

Cornerstorecomics(I know some of you have had trouble, I never have...yet) list the date as 9/27/06, afx lists October. So hopefully in a couple of weeks (fingers crossed, fingers crossed). I haven't seen the retail packs yet. (Come to think of it I haven't seen the Speed Racer or SF II mates yet either. The stores in my area seem slower to get stuff.

Hee, Hee. Just checked out all the sets. Looks like a sexual harrassment suit in the making.www.cubefigures.com/11545.html. might pick up a set for the computers.

(sigh). I don't own one myself. But I'd gladly come over and open someones, just to be annoying.
