  1. I'm definitely looking at the bright side despite my fear of Mattel mismanagement. If we get super articulated micro action figures based upon the MOTU or DC comics IP's i wont care what else happens after that lol.
  2. Mattel Bought Mega! (makers of Mega Bloks Call of Duty among other toylines) http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/mattel-to-expand-its-playing-field-with-acquisition-of-mega-brands/
  3. All credit to wiiwhitey for the information and images: WORTH NOTING: There is officially a 2nd "enemy" figure (the 1st being the Juggernaut / Bomb Disposal Soldier). The Odin Space Station set has a Federation Astronaut which, according to the Call of Duty Ghost's wiki, is a member of the antagonist in the Call of Duty Ghost video game. The bad guys begin to trickle in.... Complete Fall 2014 Call of Duty Mega Bloks line-up walkthrough: Press release pictures and information now available:
  4. Heads up guys...regarding the new HALO 2014 figures the only differences are the extra arm joints and removable armor. Everything else is the same, even the size. Credit to Joe Momma for posting that gem.
  5. All of the new Call of Duty items can be seen here: http://www.figures.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=12561&page=1 Lay your eyes on that new "enemy" figure !
  6. What i've rounded up so far (thanks to all of the other Mega Bloks fans!)... Final-Battle-2_zps9d9c9889.jpg.html][/url] First look at the new figure type. Halo, those new figures. All the Humans have the new construction. Marines, NMPD, Spartans. 2 new 5packs of the new Spartan molds. HALO - Figures Photo Gallery
  7. Based upon the pictures i've seen they seem to be in scale with the "original" Mega Bloks Halo line. Which ...kind of surprised me . I'll provide links and pics if someone else doesn't beat me to it. The product looks very good from what i've seen (especially the NMPD stuff).
  8. Game over .... http://www.sacbee.com/2014/02/14/6157629/mega-bloks-showcases-product-innovation.html *shakes head and clutches wallet* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np9tBI7_nq8
  9. For those curious about Gears Of War mini figures and their compatibility with Call of Duty Mega Bloks mini figures... The pics do NOT do them justice. The heads look "right" (appropriate and not out of place or out of scale) on the COD bodies in my opinion and fit without modification. I could have the heads sit a touch higher on the bodies but i like the high vest/ low head look for some reason. The bandana guy (aka Not Cole Train) head looks damn good on the COD body as well. As far as the Gears Of War figures(bodies) themselves they strike me as what a KO Mega Bloks Call of Duty figure might look like. Less articulation but still enough to be useful to a degree. Very good character representation but lower quality plastic and paint apps. Basically almost identical to but a notch below Mega Bloks before Pre - COD type construction. If i saw these in a discount store i'd pick them up without hesitation as fodder.
  10. World War II Mega Bloks product has hit the shelves! It's reported to have shown up in South Texas at Toys R Us. Beach Landing - $49.99 Half Track set - $29.99 2 figure and a Turret Set - $9.99 (!)
  11. I can relate. With all of the new Mega Bloks Call Of Duty product on the horizon i'm actually concerned i may buy a bit too much. The stuff looks that bad *** . I'm getting rid of my other items in order to make room. I guess i should feel lucky that HALO Mega Bloks aren't exactly the same or i'd truly be broke.
  12. ^ Ha! Yeah...if you squint there is a resemblance. She has to get work where she can.
  13. Both units should work . You'll have to remove a small peg in the seating area of the mechs but they'll work. Call of Duty figures are the same height / scale as Minimates and the COD figures fit inside both .
  14. Did anyone here read that the latest WW2 set is only going to be $9.99!? I'm having a hard time believing that but if it's accurate they are going to sell a lot of these .
  15. That is interesting (Cobi being based in Warsaw). 'Mates and COD figures are in scale with one another based upon a pic on the first or 2nd page so the COD tank should work fine.
  16. According to Mega the new sets will hit shelves in the spring. The back of the box from the new Call of Duty Legends Set: For you WWII enthusiast and fans of attractive vehicles in general .... I came across this tank set being reviewed on another site: http://bloks.hyperboards.com/action/view_topic/topic_id/9971#84253 It is in scale, if not strictly speaking, with the Call of Duty figures. So for those wanting German soldiers and vehicles to compliment the new Call of Duty WWII figure sets that are being released (considering Mega Brands wont be releasing Nazi troops) this is a fine alternative. IMO it's better than the Mega Bloks Call of Duty tank which is quite nice .
  17. Revealed via Facebook today, Allied Troop Pack! Do i need them? Noooooooo Will i buy them? Absolutely lol. I've been waiting a lifetime for poseable little green army men. I don't think it will get closer than this unless i dye them. ....i need a classic mine detection guy that used to come in all of the plastic army men packs. This guy: With articulation now he wont seem so lame. The five worst plastic army men of all time: http://blog.sfgate.com/parenting/2010/04/28/the-five-worst-army-men-of-all-time/
  18. I'm so hyped! I can't believe i'm this excited about a building block line. Building blocks for crying out loud! I've never had even the slightest interest in building blocks and Mega Bloks has NAILED it with this Call of Duty line. Damn near perfection.
  19. If you are so lucky as to be able to actually find them in stores then give in Why would you not? Micro figures that actually look humanoid with this level of articulation? Pfft..i don't have many vices so i'm willing to accept this one lol. And yes...we're getting WWII figures I should consider myself lucky i haven't been able to find more on the shelves. I'd have dropped serious cash if i had.
