Saw this movie today, thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm a pretty big GL fan, and while a few parts strayed a bit, i thought they held pretty true to the character. While not perfect, I'm still going to go see it a few more times while it's in theaters.. Anyone see it in 3D? Think I might try that next time..

Which jacket from which mate? I swapped my Coulson's jacket with an ultimate Nick Fury, the plain black suit jacket. Looks just as good as any black jacket, but I had to do something, his jacket color was too noticeably wrong.

I did. My Coulson's jacket was a dark gray, and really stood out against the black arms and legs so i swapped it with another jacket piece that was black and used his for a custom. Seems like these relatively minor QC issues are increasing with surprising regularity over the last few waves and boxsets. Shame, really.

I was thinking something along the same lines.. Sorta army builders from various eras/cultures.. spartans, samurai, ninja, african tribesmen, knights, vikings, scots (go men in kilts!), native americans, cowboys, mayans, aboriginal australians, maybe even cavemen or egyptian guards or something.. shrug

Does the Dr. Reed minimate come with a spear gun accessory? Uhh... Anybody? Yes he does come with a speargun accessory. It's pretty neat.

Awesome news. I hope these get made, along with all the other great horror films in mate form, instead of landing in the Beverly Hills Cop - Godfather zone. I was actually working on my own creature custom mates (which wouldve turned out horrible), so this is the best minimate-related news I've heard in a very long time (sorry IM2 mates). I've always loved The Creature From the Black Lagoon, enough to even have a tattoo of him, so.. yeah. Awesome news. -blarg

I used the T-1000 head, the "O-face" from the first series, for Blackbolt's face. Looks pretty nifty.

Yarr, the Silver Surfer has a peg on his board to stand on, and the bottom of the board has a hole for the flight stand. Makes a nifty display

For those in southern cali, I spotted these at the TRU in Ventura, off Johnson Drive. They had 2 swordsman/SS and 2 Old Man Logan/Hawkeye, although i bought one of each. And they had a bunch of the other sets. Still no Secret Wars set there though. Shrug.
