They actually are making a couple new tapes for soundwave too... should be coming out in a couple months but the tapes have these funky colors like white and pink.. They did a pack called the Cobalt Sentry last year Had a dark blue Ravage and lazorbeak... pretty nice set and that one is kinda pricey now too

The TRU reissue is a little retooled Its more based on the soundblaster mold which holds 2 tapes instead of one, the original soundblaster is black... but the TRU one will be blue Takara Reissued Soundwave & Soundblaster a couple years ago they are pretty cool The also released Blaster and Twincast (Blaster Red autobot boombox, Twincast Same thing except blue) If you need pics let me know that was my obsession prior to the minimates

I had seen that at best buy, I dunno its cool and definitly cheaper and easier to store than a bunch of trades and back issues.. but I still prefer to have the book in my hands to read

The discussions are great, just yesterday I was re-reading the thread about the ultimate avengers 2 dvd with the exclusive minimates...im still trying to decide whether its worth spending $30 for the iron man and cap when they have such minor changes

Been lurking around these boards since august, figured I'd say hello and thank you to whoever made the site. Ive been using it as a reference to catch me up to speed on my collection. I always wanted to collect minimates but always brushed them aside, when I saw the DC minimates I knew I had to get the marvel ones also so its been a crazy couple months getting whichever ones I could find to complete my set. So far I have almost all the marvel ones,LOTR and im debating getting the street fighter minis - I may post a pic on here sometime soon Just wanted to say thanks for all the great reviews! Francisco
