Can they ever release a Lego game without bugs, often of the game-breaking variety? I've enjoyed the gameplay so far, but replaying the first level in freeplay was impossible, because I can't go down the hole in the stage after beating Harley Quinn. Also, I'm not 100% convinced that the save game computers in each level work. I was playing through the Ace Chemical level, got halfway through the level, but had to quit, so I saved it at the checkpoint. Came back later and had to play through the entire level again.

I like the sets that come with the mounts, or the sets that are actually sets. Not a huge fan of the sets that come with a character and a pile of rocks or a post or something though.

Yeah. But since Marvel's offices are on the east coast (I think), they don't update the website until noon or later (for some reason).

The other five figures (if we're talking two box sets) are Spider-Man.

Anybody think they'll put all the DLC characters in the package with the rest of the characters, but you have to pay extra to be able to use them?

I really hope this doesn't springboard into a Marvel Swimsuit Special boxset.

And we're back up and running. Sorta. Its going to take some time before the archives can be restored, due largely in part to me having no clue what files if any are corrupted from the old site. But, we're updating again, the new gallery is slowly being populated, and I'll work on some sort of theme for the site that is more pleasing to look at. I appreciate the patience, everyone.

Due to a recent hack on our website resulting in some malicious redirects, I've brought down Minimate Headquarters for the time being. I hate having to pull the site, but I didn't want anyone picking up anything bad on their PCs as a result of this and figured it better to take it all down than continue to slap bandages on the problem and hope it was fixed. I'm going to take this opportunity to do some overall upgrades to the site, perhaps take the look in a new direction. I'll also be looking into taking on some help in running the site in the future. I'll post more details on that as I figure out what direction I want to take, but if anyone is interested in helping out in any way, or have any ideas on how to improve upon the site, you can reach me through private message here, or via email at drgnrbrn316@yahoo.com (please put MMHQ in the subject line so the spam filter won't trash it)

Based on what Google's webmaster tools are saying, its not restricted to just the index page. What I'll probably have to do is wipe it all out and start over. Again. Meaning I'll have two sets of archives to try and restore. On the bright side, it would give me good opportunity to resolve some of the other issues I've been having with the site. On the down side, it would require more time from me, time which I already don't have to spare on the day-to-day running of the site, let alone a massive upgrade.

Looks like there might have been a hole in the Word Press code for a theme we were using that someone might have been able to get through. Problem is, I have no idea what might have been compromised and lack the knowhow to fix it, let alone the time to work on it.

I'm no web expert and I have no idea what is going on with it. Trying to work on it though.

If he can hand out press passes, I'd be happy to deputize anyone who can get there as a writer for MMHQ.

I was a completist, until I realized just how much money I was spending each month on Minimates without taking as much joy out of it as I once did. I've been off the stuff for a month or so now, and I can still feel the desire to run out and buy up all the stuff I've missed during my absence. Wow, this stuff really is plastic crack! The only thing that bothers me about this series is that it looks to come out so close to the "Best of" series that carries a lot of the same characters. That we've just gotten through a wave of figures that also carries the same characters stands out in a lot of people's minds as well.

So, does this make you a full fledged wizard, or am I getting this all confused with something else? In either case, congratulations.

But didn't they say that there wouldn't be any overlap between LCS 43 and TRU 13? Also, isn't Ultimate Spider-Man supposed to be in TRU 13?

Halo actually sold well at my TRU. Sony not as much. Of course, it helps to put all the Halo Minimates with the Halo stuff, whereas the Sony Minimates were stuffed on an unlabeled peg in the clearance area. It took me a while to find them, since they weren't with all the other Minimates.

I don't imagine DST constantly advertising that this was a one-and-done series and that they weren't overly thrilled with the idea of making them helped any. It's hard to muster up fan support when they've been told in advance that there's nothing coming after the first wave.

Yeah, I've dabbled in customizing, though I've drifted away from that as well. It was fun getting back into the custom game for the recent Charitymate event though, so it did bring a bit of the fun back.

Oh, I'll be hanging onto the current collection for sure. I'll also be hanging onto MMHQ, though I may start outsourcing some of the day-to-day stuff. Too many people have poured too much time into it thus far for it to fade away.

So, after giving it some thought, I think I'm going to take a break from collecting Minimates for a while. Of late, my acquisitions don't even make it out of the box, sometimes not even the box they were shipped to my house in. The passion (and funding!) just isn't there like it once was. I'm not sure what this means for MMHQ, though I'll certainly keep updating as long as time allows for the foreseeable future.
