Thanks for pimping MMHQ, Ady - and Timbo, I was just kidding - I think MMC and MMHQ are extremely complimentary and will continue to be so. But the image of this merger makes me think of some kind of ultra, mega, mega Zord!

I hope this happens. It would be a shame if the TNG minimates never got made...

That's great news guys but I'm a little torn. The minimate fan in me is excited by the partnership but the Minimate Headquarters employee in me is worried about the competition!

Thanks for pics, SD! I was hoping for some kind of preview pics of the upcoming lines but the boxes are well designed nonetheless.

I'm going to have to say the Bombermate is my favorite as well, although I did just snag a Santa Spidey on eBay for $20... But this is a tough lot to choose from (picture by Cappy):

While I agree that utilizing parts for customizing, quick or other, might prove difficult, making characters that are larger in the comics in a larger scale Minimate not only makes sense but will add to the accuracy of the line. I hope that the Marvel line incorporates this as well. It's time for Hulk, Colosus, and Thing to be the proper size. And I'm sure there are many others that would benefit from this larger scale.

I might lurk over on the new AA forum but a Minimate-specific board is more my style. And I was getting tired of the drama in the Trek section (I know Don, and I did avoid it - but some of it was unavoidable). Plus all my peeps is here, why leave?

Since you are able to recast minimate accessories have you ever thought of selling recast parts to customizers? You could sell them in sets like The Little Armory does for it's custom Lego weapons. A few masks, couple pairs of gloves, a belt or two, some weapons...

As far as I know there are no exclusives planned for this year - although no one knew about the Bad Apple Comics/Red Cross exclusives so that information might not be accurate. I think we need an Iron-Cow minimate...
