  1. Welcome, dude! A time of loving Mcfarlane and loosing it, and 4 years at art school? That sounds very familiar to me! Plus the amassing of a collection that takes up a lot of space...
  2. This happens a HELL of a lot on the Cobra Island forum, you check out their profile and it's all about cheap handbags... Keep up the good work weeding out the 'bots, dudes!
  3. The Thor army builder is SO AWESOME! I LOVE FROST GIANTS! Wish they'd been 2.5 inch 'mates though, the scale difference with Thor, Volstagg and Sif would have been amazing.
  4. WOOOOOOOOOP WOOPWOOPWOOPWOOP! Series 3 arrived today! I had to pay ten quid customs charges, and I don't care, because these are some of the BEST MINIMATES EVER! I could go through and describe how great they are, but most of you guys have them already. Zach, honestly, with all my heart, thank you, and your team, for such awesome minimates. Thundercats have been a part of my life since the late 80's, and these are the best representation of these characters I have ever seen. The attention to detail, the modular accessories, you guys have gone above and beyond the call, man, you really have.
  5. Count me in for Rataro, Hachiman, Snowmeow and Mandora! You don't want the Breserkers? They're robot space vikings! Well, maybe just Hammerhand. The rest of his crew look way less bad ass!
  6. Dino dude, I am EXACTLY the same! My workdesk has Thundercats minimates series 1 and 2 (series 3 on the way!), Monsterarts Godzilla, 10 Star Wars Kubricks, the G.I.Joe Retaliation Rock Roadblock (series 2), Firefly and Snake Eyes simultaniously taking out three Red Ninja. Plus the 18 inch Iron Maiden Eddie stood behind my twin monitors leaning over the whole lot! Until recently it was Avengers and Thor minimates. I went a little crazy army building Frost Giants!
  7. YES PLEASE! I love the Evil Dead movies, and I would army build deadites out the wazzoo! Even for folks who don't like the movies, there would be a lot of great skeletons and deadites that would fit with many other lines, like Ghostbusters and The Walking Dead!
  8. EEEEEEEE!!! I CAN'T WAIT! It'll be great to get the whole squad together! I really hope they do series 4, it looks like they aren't selling so well on Actionfigurexpress...
  9. Aww man, Expendables 2 box set with Chuck Norris! I MUST find that! Just got the 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' minimates in the post! I AM SO DAMN HAPPY, RIGHT NOW!
  10. That is AWESOME! Now if only Hot Toys can get the Ghostbusters licence... If that Turtles banner had been true my bank account really would have been SCREWED...
  11. Yeah, apparently we're not allowed explosions in the U.K. Ironic, considering in the new Joe Retaliation movie they waste London. Thanks a LOT, Cobra!
  12. Oh man, AWESOME! I made a custom too! A loooong time ago, and I could do WAY better now! Here's my carded Action Force Airtight:
  13. AHHHH! A fellow 'Joe Sideshow collector! I know your financial pain... Airtight was your first 'Joe? Destro was mine, although Zartan is the focus of my collecting, hence my Dreadnok related name! The sig is the back of my 80's metal denim jacket! ROCKANROLL!!!!
  14. SNAP! I've got Airtight on an Action Force card! One of the best 'Joe figures EVER! I used him as an x-wing/rebel pilot when I was a kid. The same ebay guy just sold me the 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' minimates! My holy grails have been FOUND!
  15. Just got the 'For a Few Dollars More' set off a totally awesome guy on ebay! Some of the best 'mates EVER!
  16. I LOVE STAR WARS KUBRICKS! I've got Kubricks from quite a few different lines, but the Star Wats ones are the best! I'd love to get that Hammer Head (Momaw Nadon) from the Landspeeder series, just 'cos I love the character and original toy, but the price for him is INSANE!
  17. Welcome, dude! This is the friendliest and funniest forum I'm a member of! Best place there is!
  18. WOW! That power loader's perfect! I want one... Nice choice of minimate to fit inside it! Only Tony Stark could be awesome enough to rock up a Power Loader! I wonder if we might get Alien minimates too? I would LUUUUUURVE a minimate Ian Holm! Or a minimate Harry Dean Stanton! Or Predator minimates...
  19. Wow... a Bubbles Bearbrick... Why would ANYONE want a Bearbrick of Bubbles from 'Little Britain'? I gotta say though, she looks way more attractive as a Bearbrick!!!
  20. YES PLEASE, MAN! As long as Thundercats minimates are made, I'll buy them!
  21. honestly dudes, I reckon we should all nab the Kubrick power loaders while we can. DST will probably maker a nicer one eventually, but we'll have to wait and see... Am I wrong in remembering the mention of lights on the vehicle assortment? If the Power Loader has a little yellow light on top of it I will wee myself a little bit...
  22. Same here, I was really into side scrollers on the Game Gear, like Shinobi and Robocop versus Terminator, but Alien 3 was one of my favourites. Let me know what you think when you get it! I reckon the Power Loader will be done like the Delorian or Kitt, they'll want to make something in scale, and it would work well in the 20 to 25 bucks price range. If not, the Kubrick power loader would be just the right scale!
  23. Glad to help, man! If you enjoy this game half as much as I did you will LOVE IT! Cycling through the M41 Pulse Rifle/Smart gun/flamethrower, welding doors shut, burning alien residue to clear doorways... oh, and BRICKING yourself when you crawl into an airlock and see 30 blips on the Motion Tracker, bleeping away at you... There's a whole load of great stuff I havn't mentioned, because I'd ruin the surprises of sheer 80's style side scrolling awesomeness! Enjoy, man! Honestly, if you have a DS and like Aliens it is SO INSANELY worth it! You'll be playing it well into the night, wishing you could find the willpower to pause the game to turn the lights on! It is fantastic, isn't it? That familiar P-R-R-R-R-T P-R-R-R-R-RT sound of the M41 A cycling through rounds, Xenomorphs screaming under the impact of explosive tipped caseless ammo!
