  1. Wait, Nat sides with Tony? Really? That seems so out of character for her MCU version. She's barely associated directly with Stark since IM2, and spent all of Winter Soldier becoming really solid pals with Steve. I get that the Registration Act wouldn't effect her, with that film's finale, but not siding with Steve seems like a curious misstep. Clint, Bucky, and Rhodey look killer though. Interesting that they opted for Hawkeye's Heroic Age look.
  2. Excited doesn't begin to describe how hyped i've been for this game for the past 2 years. I'd be afraid to see an accurate count of how many times i've watched each trailer and gameplay video. And, i already have the Punished Snake Kai figure. Missed the boat on the Collector's Edition due to funds, but i'll either try to snag a deal on ebay within the week or just pick up the Day One at Gamestop. The "Language" trailer from this year's E3 is one of the most cinematic, wonderful trailers i've ever seen, from video games or movies.
  3. THAT is clever. My local B&N has Uranus as a single so that's perfect for me, but God damn did i forget how expensive Figuarts have gotten. Putting her off.
  4. When your biggest Twitter champion is Rob Liefeld, you know you made some Oscar-worthy material. I feel bad for the cast, who are all actually decent actors.
  5. Thanks, guys! It was a decent 22nd. My friends have been fueling my intense vinyl record collecting addiction that's been taking some attention from figures, but I got a great Leonard Cohen album, so it was a good time all around.
  6. At this point I'm pretty sure distribution is scarce because of the new movie toyline launching in the fall. I know for a fact at my TRU we will not be receiving any new Star Wars until then. I've found Palpatine, IG-88, and Cody a few times, but i just can't bring myself to buy them for the pricepoint. Collecting this line used to be a lot more exciting. Can't wait until my First Order trooper arrives, at least.
  7. I had 4 of the Strange set in my cart because of being trigger happy. By the time I was able to delete the extra 3, it was sold out. Sucks. I should have just bought the 4 and resold the others. They would have cancelled your order. While HTS lets you order more than 2, the limit is actually 2. Any order placed for more than 2, or any additional orders placed, would have been cancelled.
  8. Bada-bing bada-boom, THEY'RE UP. In, out, and done. Vishanti, Ant-man set, and even the Stormtrooper. I feel...dirty.
  9. Sitting in front of HTS all day is gonna be a living nightmare. It's officially later than the sale has ever gone up. We're in uncharted (mystical?) territory, folks.
  10. You're all missing the opportunity for Sex Criminals minimates. They can be the new Tarot.
  11. Sure am excited for the movie, but with Jean as my favorite comic character, i'm gonna steal a move from the John Oliver Playbook: #NotMyJeanGrey. It's like they Googled "young actress redhead," skipped past the porn results, and picked the first girl they saw. Sansa is definitely not "Jean." Scott's pretty on-point, however.
  12. NUKE!!!!! Wow! He and Terror, Inc. were two of my biggest wants from the fan poll a few years back. Never thought we'd see him pop up again, but he looks even better. That's fantastic.
  13. Bobbi Morse!! Bobbi freaking Morse!! What a perfect year for Legends, wow. At this rate they're gonna force me out of the collecting game by actually fulfilling all of my wants. Love her, and i'm glad they went the extra mile to sculpt the buttons/rivets on her suit. Classic Cap was a guarantee from the second they made the Reaper buck. Taskmaster is nice, though i too lament the lack of cape. Never a fan of the UDON look.
  14. It'll also probably be the only Maria Hill we get, as opposed to 20 other Iron Men. That's unfortunate; i'm getting SWAT Gordon vibes. Joe Colton hung around a while, at least.
  15. Should have figured Jack would be on the Ghost buck. Not a bad body but the hips just suck. I'm not up on my Superior Foes, but as i hear it they have a pretty big fanbase. Morbius and Venom are nice, and i guess i like Spider-Gwen even if i hate the concept (and the name).
  16. Yup, picked my set up today. All they had left from any SDCC products were Gotham and the Flash/Arrow REAction figs. Really nifty little two pack, the Bruce figure is great if not a bit dark (alternate bloody hands? Jesus).
  17. I have a flyer for their "Pop Culture Month" and it does label the 9th to the 12th as Comic Convention days where you can go in and buy exclusives. I'll give them a call soon and find out.
  18. New figures coming to Walgreens this year: Eric O'Grady Black Ant and First Appearance Daredevil with a Matt Murdock head. Really happy with both choices, they look great.
  19. Ra's is fantastic; that headsculpt is perfect. Love that he can go capeless, or with the Demon's Head mask. Other figures shown but not permitted to be photographed included Firefly, TNBA Harley, and Clayface.
  20. I could have sworn Quicksilver had a nameplate on the original preview image for Age of Ultron figures.
  21. Is that Maria Hill in that group shot? Did we know she was coming? I cannot pass her up. Yellowjacket looks sharp, though i'll be shocked if they don't include open-mask heads.
  22. I don't really have any dog in the Fan Poll (pun totally intended), but I figure if Executioner is on their minds then Enchantress has to be coming soon, so that's fantastic.
  23. New plastic for joints, no peg holes on the hips. Not Animated, but keep an eye out if you're collecting the Arkham figs; supposedly Knight is hitting FYE now/soonish.
  24. I thought the Iron Legion that Ultron was uploaded into was number 5, a reference to Ultron-5 in the comics.
  25. Yea, i'm not sure i see Chuck's logic. It's basically "Streaming is cool since you can watch it all in one sitting, but too weird to work with." But...you can also watch every Marvel film in one sitting. And there are basically the same amount of hours of DD footage as there are Avengers (honestly, in terms of characterization, we probably know Matt better than the Avengers). Consider how many people are clamoring for a TV DD across the board in terms of figures and Funkos, and the anticipation of a possible Walgreens Legends DD, it seems really iffy to not even WANT to pursue it. Even the comic-styled Marvel Legend is the first to sell from that wave. He's a hot commodity now. Really bizarre answer.
