Why was Jaws on display behind the Rocketeer in one of the pics??

Check out DST's facebook page. Five minutes ago they posted Gotham minimates would be available sometime this year.

The closest TRU to me (about 2 hrs away, that is) was the one in St. Cloud, but they're now closed -- prolly right before/after Christmas. The next closest is in Blaine -- only 'mates I saw were one clearanced Tomb Raider pack. I only saw one other marked SKU hook tag (for one of the Clerks box sets, prolly the anniversary one) & it mixed in with the collectible figures. I did see a SKU hook tag in the TMNT section, but it was labeled as a DST keychain. When I asked an employee about it (I was positive it was for 'mates cuz of the price) he told me that it was unidentifiable in the system -- came up as "item not found" when he scanned the tag. In any event, I have never seen any new/current lines at any of the MN stores I've ever visited. Plus, they keep closing stores left & right.

I dig this ep because there's a nod to the 2007 tmnt movie (which I love!). And they look cool. Thank you. I am so far behind. Catch up. It gets so much better!EDIT: I forgot that they also sneak in a Goonies ref.

The episode is called "Vision Quest" (S3E8). It's the one that aired 2 weeks ago. You can find it on Nick's website.

In the new season (like right now, actually), the turtles go thru some changes (won't spoil for anyone who is not caught up-to-date) & their appearance changes. Raph sort of looks like that now. He's got fire-claw things like that. The turtles in their new gear look less cartoon-y & more like that comic design. You should check it out. I wouldn't be surprised if DST makes 'mates of those.

I was going to guess because -- much like the TRU customer reviews of minimates -- people's top complaint is: "I thought they'd be bigger." I think it's hysterical when customer reviews say this.

My gift arrived Tuesday & I opened it right away. (I have been too busy with work to post about my amazing gift until now.) When I first saw the package, I was immediately concerned for the contents. The box looked like someone had used it for target practice, but everything in it was ok. The return address said "Greece" & one name popped into my head: Kostisfire. If you are my Secret Santa, then thank you so so so very much! You have sent me such an awesome gift! (And the drawing in the card was great, too!) I lovelovelove KinderEggs, but they are not available here in the US because -- apparently -- US children are not smart enough not to eat the small toys inside. Which is a terrible shame, since the chocolate is divine!!! I hope everyone is having as wonderful a holiday as I am!!
