Hmmm, I have to agree and also disagree with some of your comments. you were correct that out of all those options i would probably go with megaman. But the only thing i know about megaman, is that i know who megaman is. I don't know anything about any other character, or even the game itself. Which is more than i know about all the other games on the list. (not saying that they are terrible, or i don't like them, I just don't know anything about them because i never played them) Also, I'd maybe get a megaman minimate becaue he is pretty cool looking, but I'd be more interested in his parts for other stuff. So, I honestly don't think any of those are my cup of tea.......

What about Toy Soldiers War Chest? I don't think its been mentioned ...... but, on a technicality, it features characters from Assassin's Creed, Motu, and GI Joe... all of these have been mentioned in the thread, all are pretty colorful, and all are something i'd like.....

Toyfair 2017- A New Hope ...... please don't tease me like that, Zach ... I have officially swung my leg back to the minimates side of the fence ... but, I'm still not on the ground yet... I'm pretty sure Zach has my tastes mostly figured out. Fine Detective work, Kostis, and thanks for the props... For the record, I haven't played MGS since the very first one, and I don't know what half life is. I do like colorful, and feel if this is the case, then I will more than likely be on board. I also like recognizable characters (but also love generic no name guys as well) My issue a lot of the time has to do with Color, and the more realisticly, toned down style of all the movie/TV mates the last few years has not been my cup of tea. I love the muppets, Thundercats, DC and a lot of the comic marvel stuff because they are very colorful. I think minimates look the best with a lot of bright, pops of color. So, I will be anxiously, and more excitedly waiting for the reveals this year... I'm not making any more guesses, because i tend to hype myself up for an eventual dissapointment, so bring on the mates! -Fingers still crossed Thanks for taking the time to post Zach!

This really is a make or break year for me with minimates. They've been on the backburner for me the last few years. I've bought a bunch, but half of what i buy is older stuff that i want extras of. I need something to really knock my socks off, or I'm afraid my days are coming closer to an end (starting to feel like a broken record saying this stuff). I hope Elf is 100% lock to be made, and i keep referencing it, but at this point its what I'm mostly excited about. But.... I don't expect more than a 4-pack with maybe a few companion 2 -packs scattered. After that, at this point, there is nothing we know about that I'm super excited about... Thundercats was the last thing i was truly excited about, and I'm glad i was able to get about 99% of the figures i wanted from that. Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! fingers crossed... Xnn

Yeah man, there is also a comic out right now called Future Quest with all these guys in it... i haven't read it, waiting for the trade, but it looks like good old fun!

ugh, me too....... And now that Black Manta has been announced in the Aquaman film, I am all in for DC movie mates.

But..... that's what minimates are all about ... 2 inch scale ... when we start getting minimates that are more than the basic 2 inch scale, like an 8 inch sentinal or galactus, then i'll be more worried about proportion. My main thing is how good the figure looks. i don't mind putting a bigger Rocket next to Groot or spiderman, or whoever, as long as it looks good. I'm totally fine with shorter characters using the kid body, I would have been fine if rocket had used the kid legs. But I'll say again, that's just me.....

Have you guys thought about using the wolfman legs instead of the rabbit? I think it would look way better, considering the goofy roundness of the bunny legs, but that's just me. I will get this set because i do like Rocket, and baby root is the bees knees! i'd like to end up with a bunch of those and customize them into different little characters..... they'd look great painted as children, stuffed into a Krampus basket.

Well, I am always entertained by these films. I also never go into a film and try to find things i don't like about it. Because if you are looking for things to hate, you will no doubt find things to hate. #everyonesacritic My question for the people in the know. Will Jack Sparrow's hat be removable from his hair, to sport his bandana/hair separately? Or maybe a separate hairpiece to show this look?

Hey guys and gals, just wanted to load a bunch of the stuff that got lost when the big forum update happened. Lookin g forward to working on and finishing some projects here in the next few months. 99% of my stuff is still in boxes from when i moved (back in May, Sheesh) I am crossing my fingers and hoping I see something from Toyfair (should be seeing stuff , right? ) that get my minimate juices flowing again ... I want to be excited again about minimates because lately its been "meh" for me.

Thanks! The legs are from the new plants vs. zombies pirate captain. as soon as i saw them, i knew what i was using them for, lol yes, its grim reaper torso and arms. ps. i originally had the kidpool scarf on him and it looked great, but the hair/hat wouldn't fit right. when i get another one of those headpieces i am gonna trim it down, and paint all the red parts to match.
