  1. I really enjoy the New Avengers very much. I like the new post-civil war team a lot. I also love the artwork by Leinil Yu, so it's pretty cool. But since I'm only reading the paperbacks here in Germany, I'm a little dragged behind the actual storyline. So please, don't get me any spoilers on that right now!
  2. We happy? Yeah, we're happy! Man, I hope everything works out fine, and this woman from whom I bought the Invaders via eBay ships them safely to Germany!
  3. That's all nice and stuff, but what Wave 25 will really be about is: The Ultimates! We'll get Ultimate Iron Man & Ultimate Nick Fury (with removable leatherjacket) 2-pack Ultimate Wasp & Ultimate Giant Man (with removable mask) 2-pack Ultimate Thor (with Mjolnir) & Ultimate Captain America (with shield)2-pack WW2 Captain America as chase (with angled shield) That's it! Please excuse me, beeing currently keen on the Ultimates, but please make my dreams come true
  4. Altough I'm not really into them, as far as I can see, I really like the way Cloak and Dagger are designed here!
  5. Somehow, I got an ambivalent feeling about the Ultimateverse as well. I really love the modern Avengers, both the new as well as the mighty ones, and I stick to them. But when I first found out about the Ultimates - I'm from Germany, here it takes some time to figure such things out - I really, reylly enjoyed them. The detail changes of costumes as well as of their characters are well done. For exapmle, I didn't ever enjoyed the asgardian Gods thing with Thor and his folks, but creating the new Thor by leaving us somehow in the dark about whether he's a new age freak or really Odinsson is a nice turn, I guess. So, I love the Ultimates, but have no use for the rest of this universe, although both story continuties sometimes confuse me, like wasn't Iron Man supposed to, ah, darn, that was the other universe... So, making that point clear, I'd love to have a box set of the Ultimates, or at least Ultimate Thor - I like the beard, the not-wearing-that-helmet-thing and the new Mjolnir design - and of course Mr. Jackson as Nick Fury! Give me both and I am a happy man By the way, I don't like that ultimate Iron Man outfit that much as most of you seem to do here. Isn't his helmet some kind of monkeyish?
  6. Dank u, Aapje! Here it's EM for Europa Meisterschaft. But in fact, I'm so not into soccer, but thanks for the applause.
  7. Sorry Aapje, guess here starts the lost in translation thing: What do you mean by EK?
  8. @TBT: Bill Murry does it. You know, lost in translation. Here. As a german. Something like that. Now I get the whispering thing, thanks to buttheadsmate. I like your subversive suggestions, TBT. That's cool. I knew that there is a radio DJ with the name, but never heared about his show named Whispering. @koi-girl and Aapje: I guess, the lack of minimate shops here, is the reason for my abstinence. Till now. I just ordered a box of the Invaders via eBay. (I hope it was a good idea, to buy via eBay?!? Problem here is, that shipping form regular us shops is really really really expensive... And orders with 20$ plus means paying customs duties ) But for sure, the bigger cities, like Berlin, Hamburg or Frankfurt does have well equipped comic stores. Here in Kassel, there is only a small - but passionated - shop, and the guy only has a few Minimates. Where are you going?
  9. Hi and thanks for all the welcomes! It's laways interesting how many people do speak some strange german phrases. I once stayed in Seatlle for some weeks and met a guy who was able to say "Geben Sie mir bitte ein Bier". (Hand me a beer.) And he also was proud to say "Geben Sie mir bitte zwei Bier". In fact, in this way, he was able to count till 10! I'm from Kassel, right in the center of Germany, somewhat in the north of Bamberg as well as Würzburg. @Dan, you speak - actually write - perfectly German! Ich weiß auch nicht welches gender Multiverse hat. @JadOnTV, I laughed my head off, when I read your phrases, including Knight Rider!!! Yay! @TBT!, well, just some Bob Harris. In fact, I don't get the whispering thing you mentioned ... And, let's not talk about fatherlands...
  10. Thanks, thanks, you're too kind! Say, karamazov80, you're like dostoevskian Karamazov?
  11. Hi there! I'm not a man of wealth, maybe taste. Anyway. I'm completely new to both, this site and the minimates! I knew about them for a long time right now, but never bought at least one of them. I guess, the times they are a-changin'. I stopped at this place sveral times, like the site very much and just decided to register. Guess, that's all. Oh, I'm from Germany, if someone's interested.
  12. Depends. There are a lot of Bobs and Harrises out there...
  13. Hi, I'm totally new, here as well as in the Minimates Universe, but I'd LOVE to have Akira Kurosawas Seven Samurai minimated! This isn't just an outstanding movie, the Minimates would as well be awesome, last but not least because of the possible accessories they'd come with! What do you think?
