I wish they'd take more chances on off-beat minimates. Give us some more older licenses, even if it's only a single four-pack like they did with Silence of the Lambs. And I'd love to see a MODOK minimate!

It's been almost a year, and the time for Kick-Ass has passed. So how did we wind up getting "Desperatly Seeking Susan" Minimates????

What I mean is that I'd like to see more varied licenses. I could stand for less Halo if I could get another license I really like, and the Universal Monsters could have been condensed and drop the humans. Also, with 125 Marvel mates last year, I could stand getting only 100 if that means I could get 25 mates from a different license. Speaking of Halo, I've got FAR more good guys than bad! With the dump case, the bad guys are way outnumbered! I wouldn't mind a bad guy dump case too. I'm just glad minimates aren't sold like legos! I'd be broke!

Exactly! Why did they have to put Ma Hunkel in minimates then use strong characters in the darn Blammoids and the other "cutesy" line? I can still get the later DC waves because they were so porly planned. If only they had planned it like they knew it would end as soon as it did, we'd have a better line-up. Shame they wouldn't allow mold-sharing with Marvel, they might have seen better profits if they had! It feels as though Marvel and DC conspire against each other to the point where they won't allow their properties in the same scale at the same time!

I'm hoping the Iron Man is the Modern Heroic Age one - I skipped that pack but want the IM. Hopefully in a 2-pack with Rescue! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Modern Heroic Age pack had the exact figures of Spidey, Cap & Thor already released right? Or were these tweaked/improved versions?

After looking at the poll thead, I counted over 200 minimates for 2010! (125 were Marvel) I'm really excited to see where 2011 takes us! We're about a month away from ToyFair, and I'm dying to see some new lines! Confirmed for 2011: Marvel (duh!) (including Comic Book, Thor, Cap America & X-Men Movies) Real Ghostbusters MAX Pirates (WANT!!!) Universal Monsters (WANT!!) Halo Sony Video Games BTTF 25th anniversary set MAX heroes box set (variants! yawn) So, where will 2011 take us? 2010 gave us Marvel, GB, Halo, MAX, and Universal Monsters. Sure, we got the Delorian & T2 vehicles which gave us a couple of BTTF & T2 minimates, but 2010 was not as expansive as previous years. Expensive, yes, but not as many properties as before with all the movie mates. I mean, we got a "Desperately Seeking Susan" 2-pack but DST states that "the time has passed" for Kick-Ass! So where does that leave us for our requested older properties like Army of Darkness, Big Lebowski, Fifth Element, etc, etc, etc? Will 2011 bring us the return of more cult classic movies & TV shows as minimates? I love what DST has done with the Ghostbusters property, and I'm not even a huge GB fan. I would love to see older properties get the same treatment and I'd love to see DST take more chance this year! Especially now that DST has made it into the Disney Store & theme parks, I'd love to see them use that leverage to tackle some Disney properties! I'd rather see minimates at Disneyland than that horrible Vinylmation!

Walking Dead with LOTS of Zombies! - Based on the Comic art preferably, not the TV show. In this scale it would be hard to tell the difference though. But no human 2-packs, would prefer a human & zombie in each pack (to prevent pegwarming). But how would they do Carl? New, shorter body? I would like Fight Club and Sin City, but DST won't even do Kick Ass and it's only 1 year old! *sigh* I'm not a fan of video game 'mates, but I'd love some classic Nintendo. Plus I'd buy Street Fighter if they did them again, and Mortal Kombat.

So I see that Fisher Price has a kids line with Batman & Superman called Trio. It's their children's building block line, and TRU has a big display case near the Lego section. These sets have 2-inch figures with them. I'm almost curious if this has an effect on the ability to license DC minimates due to their size, similar to why we can't have Star Wars minimates while Lego makes theirs. Not to mention Fisher Price has deeper pockets than DST and could have easily bribed the license away from DST. So, while this line is going, might this keep us from seeing DC minimates return EVEN IF DC chose to bring them back??

Hopefully these get treated like the superhero movie lines. Just because the Creature & Wolfman doesn't sell well (better than the preorders for the Nic Cage Ghost Rider line), DST & TRU still give priority to Dracula, Frankenstein & the Mummy (like X-men, Spidey & Iron Man). And yes, the humans really hurt this line.

ZOMBIES!!!! - Generic, don't have to be tied to any license Big Lebowski - at least The Dude & Walter, but I'd buy everything if they put out multiple waves Babylon 5 - not gonna happen, but I'd love it. Same as Farscape The Goon - animated movie coming out, so why not? Batman (Nolan Films) - Almost got Batman Begins minimates back in the day, would love to see some for the next movie PLUS include the first two films as well! Ledger Joker! Disney characters - (Wife's #1 want!) Even if they have to do sculpted heads - Why aren't these already in the Disney Parks?? Nightmare Before Christmas, Lilo & Stitch, Classic Disney Characters, etc The Muppets! (Same as Disney characters) - New movie coming out this year (I was an Extra in the scene filmed at the famous Chinese Theater courtyard!) Kick-Ass! Four-Pack, make it so! The Hobbit, plus more LOTR 'mates with the new Hobbit films coming out! Hellboy!!! Pirates of the Caribbean movies - Excited for the MAX pirates, but need the Disney movie ones for the wife. Star Trek - from the next JJ Abrams movie to every previous Trek, need more TOS, TNG, DS9 mates! Invader Zim! Hot Topic would carry these for sure! Doctor Who - I'd buy them! A Tardis would be cool. Aliens & Predator - still waiting! Freddy Krueger, Jason & Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Army of Darkness! Need a minimate Necronomicon! Bubba Ho-Tep! Shaun of the Dead Harry Potter Star Wars & Indiana Jones DC Universe!
