Hey, does anyone have any pics theyd like to post, not just of toys, but of people in costumes, and cute chicks, and cool displays n stuff. I have a disability and cant walk too well so unless I go in a wheelchair (which sounds like it would be a nightmare) I'll never be able to go to the comicon. But I do love seeing the pics!! I would LOVE a minimate Daveros and dalek. I do have a mico Dalek from the UK that I bought on ebay a few years ago. It slides around on a steel ballbearing. You might wanna try the www.drwhostore.com for some small daleks...ahhhh but they wont be minimates......

Rumors part III, as we know there are 4 different colors of translucent minimate being given away this week, a lil bird tells me they will be green (today), red blue and orange. Do you know where you have to go to get these minimates? I have a friend thats there (and doesnt even like minimates)

SDCC 2008 MINIMATE Holo Green CON EXCLUSIVE I just saw these on ebay. Does anyone know anything about them? Or where at the con they were available?

I bought a FCBD on ebay for $6 total and I got a set of all 4 ECCC for a decent price so Im pretty happy. I must say I do like the promos a lot. IM thinking of buying another FCBD so I can open one. You just gotta love ebay!

Oh im not really sure, im just quoting what they said about the FCBD blanks on minimates central. "although as this is a higher run exclusive (reported to be around 40,000)" Either way, wouldnt that make the ECCC blue & green logoless blanks quite rare (only 100 of each made)and more valuable?

From what ive heard, they made 40,000 of the FCBD promos. Now from what ive heard the Emerald city comicon mates were made in a very small batch. I think 2900 of the green logo, 1900 of the blue logo, 100 of the blue blank and 100 of the green blank. Does anyone know if this is true? And if it is wouldnt the blue blank and green logoless blank be quite rare and valueable?

Well, now I feel a lot better about my "condition". In all fairness, she did get me Galactus for my birthday. So I guess I'll keep her.

I dont know why, but I LOVE my blank blue and green emerald city comicon promos. They remind me of tron or something...I think they only made 100 of each (the ones with no logo). I also love my captain america. The removeable shield...awesome...I bought two....

I love the Avengers! I took my regular Vision (with the semi-clear hands and feet) and to make him "solid" I took Loki's arms and legs and put them on the Vision. It looks pretty good. And loki looks weird with the fasing hands and feet....ha ha ha

Hello, I found a way to make the silver surfer stick to his board without making it permanent. I took one flat grey square from a lego set and with a hot glue gun, glued it to the board (the hot glue can be easily scraped off if I wanted). This way the surfer can stick to the lego and not fall off his board. Just thought Id share...
