I have a kind of funny story. When I went to do challange #7 (vs Ninjas) I THOUGHT I still had a bunch of my old GI joe ninjas in one of my boxes of old toys, but when I looked...there was only one left! So I had to wrap up the G.I.Joes "Firefly" to try and make him look like a member of the ninja gang. Im happy with how it turned out. My mate looks like he's putting up a good fight. When I read challange #15 (eaten by another toy) I immediately thought of my Mcfarlane Jaws diorama. It seems like it was especially made for this challange..ha ha ha

Here's to that, brother! Wow; this is really showing us how deep our devotions to 2-in. pieces of plastic are. I tmakes me want to go on a soul-searching journey to the Himalayas and discover somwthing about me i never knew...and maybe find a solid 24 karat gold minimate while i'm at it!!! WOW a 24 karat gold minimate!!! I hope they never make one bacause MAN ID HAVE TO get one!!! And it would probobly cost like $3,000. And my gf would want to kill me!!! Hmmm gold is roughly $900 an ounce right now...I wonder if it was solid, how many ounces it would weigh? :mrt:

Thank you so much for doing this. For my celebrity pic I used an obscure celebrity. Hes a comic book artist/writer who has had many issues of his comic distributed world wide since the early 80's and has been published monthly in Penthouse magazine in the 80's. I hope he counts as a celebrity. (He lives here in my home town) Im not sure if im supposed to say who he is at this point or not. I dont want to disqualify my entry... And I must say...I found Chianti but DARN THOSE FAVA BEANS!!!! I even had the store manager looking with me for them in Alburtsons!!!! ARRRRGGGGGG!!!!!! :biggrin: I sent them all in one whole batch email, I hope they come ok

It's a fixed 5 points. However just throwing a bunch of mates together and taking a pic doens't mean you'll get those points, The challenge is to take a picture of a party, if it doesn't obviously look like a party you wont get points. Also you won't be likely to get any bonus points from judges for cool/fun images. The idea of the contest is to have some fun and take fun and entertaining pix not just rattle through to see if you win a prize! T. Cool! Im going to start taking my pics this weekend!! :biggrin:

Ok heres an interesting question....for the points.....for example, in #11 pic of your mate having a party with other toys. If you just put your mate with a bunch of others toys do you get the full five points? Or do you give five points if they all have little paper hats and noise makers and stuff...and three if they are just a gang of toys? I guess what im asking is, full 5 points regardless? Im sooo excited!!

The more I look at it the more I suspect its the paint. Its all slick and slippery...its like a thin red glaze over a clear white mate...

I was wondering why, when I swallowed my older minimates that I would get sick...man Im glad they got rid of the "bad" plastic!

A friend of mine was awesome enough to grab me a red blank from the SDCC. I was soooooooooooo happy when he gave it to me. I alm ost cried...just a little...inside...Anyway, of course I had to open it immediately to proudly stand next to my ECCC blanks on my computer shelf. And I noticed something......it was....softer....smoother....almost like silk....did anyone else notice this? Or am I the onlyone with the sin of opening these little treasures? I think its a different type of plastic? AND I think they were clear and painted red cause when I take it appart the "spine" is clear "white" at the top. Now I just need the light blue, yellow, and light green... GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!...and europe and those loser countries too....
