Hell No? Still the most memorable segments of the show. And I love that quirky tag names are being used. Rhode Scholars. I still love Beer Money, though. Such a great team! And I thought that the stare down at the end would reveal Brock.

I'd bet Paul Heyman hires Dr. Shelby to get Punk and Lesnar to coexist. Lesnar hugging Punk is a PPV quality segment! But if the Punk/Lesnar feud is the road they are going to go on, is this a Wrestlemania or a Royal Rumble/non-WM title match? I can't help looking ahead as this just makes me think what next year's Wrestlemania dance card would be... And I had to see what the UFO was and that is awesome! It doesn't seem like it'd fit hit character right now. But I do like Cesaro. Just wish he had a better gimmick.

Kane does seem out of character. But thinking about it, I rationalize it as an extreme obsessive compulsiveness part of this psychotic nature. But where's Dr. Shelby? Where's Big Show? I actually was thinking where the Big Show was last night after the show. Not that I cared for him to be back. And I can't say I would be excited about any program he becomes involved with. Sheamus/Del Rio continuing is more appealing to me than Sheamus/Big Show only due to Ricardo getting air time. Ryback in IC title hunt? No thanks.

How could you forget about the weekly Kane and DB hug outs?!?! (Hellpop, if you like those segments, watch that match and the backstage celebration at NoC.) I honestly really like those segments every week. Tag division is getting interesting and it was surprising to see two legit tag division matches on Raw. One of the few good things about this 3 hours is more time to build personalities and feuds. Still prefer 2 hours but I think it is a long term strategy to go back to 2 hours but between 8-10ish PM to fit the PG demographic. Any predictions on next week's tag match or 2 singles matches featuring Punk/Cena? There was the champ vs champ match and Cena/Del Rio a couple of weeks back. What's the next variation? 2 on 1? :biggrin:

I think you have to also factor in that Sue came with a new character (Mole Man) as did Namor (Atlantean Soldier). Plus, the Namor pack had a troop builder. I'd guess that's why they have the higher selling rate more than just it being the sticker. Don't forget the third basic factor, which is supply and demand. The stickered exclusives, Sue/Mole Man & Namor/Atlantean Soldier were produced in half the amount as the other packs in the wave. So I think it is a combination of those 3 that help drive prices up.

I know the quality isn't great, but after reading the Deadpool video game fact sheet thingie, it got me thinking about playing around with the flyer I got from SDCC.

I forgot, did Zach mention that the Spidey will also have a 2nd head that is the mask? Or was that my wishful thinking? I don't like slip-on masks...

Yeah, but who would have thought that Napster merchandise would be made. The logo is cool but I'd never have thought they'd make toys of it. Even Google Androids are kind of odd to me, even though I like them. And I never knew about the Napster minimates. One of the few prototypes that I am glad that never came. So who has the Napster license now? I want updated Napster minimates! (Yes, I know the Napster links are annoying...)

Just found this while cleaning up and totally forgot I had it. Not minimate related but still made by Art Asylum. One of those odd things that I wish I knew the back story of.

Sorry, I'm going to break the chain of one-upsmanship. Yeah, my Akuma has 2 right feet too. A shame as I really really love Akuma. I wanted to get more, but I don't know now... And the purple and orange blank minimate underneath MODOK is pretty cool. I'm kind of liking it more than MODOK itself.

I'm no Murray fan, but congrats to the GB! I'm still very sad about Federer, though. He looked terrible. Watching online from NBC's website is odd with no commentary... But I'm pulling for the GB in mixed doubles that just started. Hope Muray is all rested and focused!

I think the QC is more on the specialty exclusives. I have no problems with the others (Doom/Wesker, Cap/Ryu) and they seem top notch. Chun-Li: My Chun-Li is okay. Yeah, at the arm joint, the paint did cake but mine wasn't too bad. Still was careful with moving it. The flesh colors also mismatch on her too (head, arms, hands). X-23: Flesh color mismatches, as mentioned by others. Splashes of black dots on her upper chest and same with the other set I saw in the store. Felicia: Mine seems good (other than having two right feet). And both her feet seem stuck in very tight and I'm still afraid to loosen them. She-Hulk: Seemed at the top and bottom of her chestpiece didn't get fully painted to the edges. More obvious when you look straight at her and less at an angle. So yeah, it seems like the girls got the short end of the stick...

My Felicia has 2 right feet. Or paws. Back paws? Whatever it is called... Anybody else the same? And I haven't smelled my Chun-Li. Then again, I don't really smell my minimates. But I do agree, X-23's skin tone is all off. I can't remember if the X-23 from before has the same Daken hands with the 3rd claw cut off. It's nice to buy minimates again. Especially after ebaying stuff to buy them again. I got specialty series 2 and 3 today. I love them!

CM Punk opens tonight's RAW. Pipe bomb! I personally haven't been this excited for him in a while. The Punk/Jericho thing was kind of underwhelming.

The only thing I really like about Lawler is his old man jokes, though. They make me chuckle a little. I think it was last night he said that a wedding is grand but a divorce is a hundred grand. And I love how Cole really got into playing with those Brawling Buddies or whatever plushies. He's great when he's annoying! But overall, he doesn't get enough credit as he's always going to be in JR's shadow. I had high hopes for Regal but his work so far isn't great. Potential is there. CM Punk announcing, now that was surprising and refreshing! Not sure if that was the reveal of GTV, but if Hornswaggle was the anonymous GM (bleh!), heck why not? I think both should stay unanswered. Or make it the Mae Young's son. He needs more TV time! Stone Cold mentioned he had surgery on his knee recently and he didn't want to be on crutches on TV. Too bad as someone just needed to be stunned last night.

AJ as GM? That was a "What the?!?!" moment! I'm not sure I can see her as GM, but more AJ isn't a bad thing. I see an ending similar to when King of the Ring Regal was GM type ending where she just gets fired for going overboard. The Punk ending, I like. I felt Punk lost a little of his edge but I hope he gets it back and brings some "pipe bombs" too. Well, I'm sure he never lost it. I just like him better as a bad guy. I miss his commentary too. And at least JR called a match. I was hoping main event. And JBL! Weird to see him not in a suit... I was sad Mark Henry wasn't there to slap his son. That was his son, right? :tongue: Overall, I thought it was a fun and entertaining show. Not much wrestling (4 matches, I think), but NXT is where I get that fix. And please, no more Touts...

I was looking forward to the Rock the most, but now, I'm looking forward to that! :biggrin:

Still a little over an hour before it starts here on the West Coast (I don't mind spoilers so talk away). But does it feel like it needs to be 3 hours every week? I guess it is hard to judge by tonight's episode so next week will be the real test.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, I just want to publicly thank Zach for still going to SDCC days after his son was born. So yes, not only did he leave his family to go to the other side of the US, he had to endure a convention AND be the lightning rod for the gold Vorin situation. And yet, he still manages to post here! He's got a lot of dedication and I truly respect him. Get some rest Zach! You deserve it!

Well, I'm sorry I didn't read this thread during SDCC. I didn't fully grasp the gold Vorin thing until now. As the SDCCMMMV rep (still not fully sure what the job details are), I will take all responsibility for not getting more for the forums. DST doesn't have to give us anything and I am happy that Zach and Chuck in years past have given us something for free that they spend money on (promos, posters, buttons, etc). I may have overstepped my bounds this year when I took a big stack of BB ashcans and Chuck basically said "no, not that many" as I confirmed with him on what I was taking. I won't lie, Zach mentioned there was some gift bags left over and I should have pushed more on getting them. (Please people, don't jump on Zach now that I said there was some gift bags left over.) I'll take the blame on that as I feel I could have used some diplomacy. The situation is what it is but there is no way I could get more than a handful to spread out to the public and not among the "VIPs". I'm sure the leftover gift bag promos were put back into the overall leftover promo stash and that Chuck will get some cookies (he likes chewy chocolate chip) but remember, Zach likes beef jerky (not sure what flavour yet). Mods, I'm ready for my performance review and the whippings afterwards... :sad:

I can't see Bryan getting married. If he does, his chant will become "Yes Dear! Yes Dear! Yes Dear!" I hope AJ marries Eve instead. :biggrin: There's just a feeling of a swerve to me with Cena cashing in the briefcase. Either before or after the match... Hmmm... Is Barret healed yet? And it's unlikely, but I'd love to see Ziggler cash in next week!

Buttheadsmate automatically wins if he drains his lake, changes it to the shape of a minimate (such that you can see it on google maps satellite view), and fills it with his entire collection of minimates (no padding of Kubricks at the bottom!).
