  1. I just check the one near Sea World as it is on my way back from the comic shop. Don't let me stop you from doing some extra recon for me for the rest of us.
  2. If I don't find these in San Diego soon, I'll have to muscle my way in when I move back to Northern California in the coming weeks. I'm hoping I'll be lucky in the East Bay and South Bay but sorry if I muscle in on anyone's territory on these TRU waves. Sucks that I have to start over and figure out which TRUs are good minimate stockers. But more importantly, whose territory I am invading...
  3. I was shocked and confused about the decision. I have no personal connection to amateur wrestling but always respected the sport and felt it would always be a mainstay in the Olympics So is MMA going to eventually replace it? Anyway, at least trampoline is safe as an Olympic sport. Oh, and some guy called Kurt Angle won the 1996 Olympics in wrestling with a broken frickin' neck! He must be pissed about this.
  4. Yeah, I am totally waiting for the "I got till 5!" count thing to be one of Bryan's regular things. It'd fit his personality with him yelling "NO!" to the ref afterwards. And I had no idea who El Generico was until recently but I have to find that video of him and Bryan. As for the Miz beatdown, yeah it was standard beating on paper, but I felt Lesnar made it really convincing. He ragdolled Miz like he was a cruiserweight out of the ring and literally threw that directors chair at him. Normally people throw it in the general direction but Brock didn't seem to give a crap. Miz has got to have a mark after that. Then the F5, I thought Lesnar might not have accounted for the couch being in the way a little and was kind of expecting one of them to accidentally hit their heads on it on the impact.
  5. It's been a couple of days and there's only 2 things I remember from Raw. First was Punk/Jericho being a great match. Next was Brock Lesnar giving Miz a bigger butt whooping than I expected. I was kind of scared for Miz at a couple of moments. Either way, sit back and enjoy the Punk/Jericho main event.
  6. I should watch some of Brian Danielson's stuff online. Been meaning to for a while... I doubt Daniel Bryan will leave the comedic side even if Hell No breaks up. He's referring to himself as "The Dazzler" so I would think he'd try to push that more when he is a singles competitor. He stated somewhere before that straight wrestling can get boring all the time so they need to mix entertainment in or something like that. It was when his Yes chant started catching on. I see him going the route of Kurt Angle. Part comedic, part wrestling machine with the pendulum swinging back and forth when needed. And I love Samoa Joe. My favorite person to watch on TNA. He is really good. I kind of wish he'd be in WWE, but then they might make him dance in a thong or something... Speaking of teams breaking up, on Smackdown, I was kind of surprised that Rhodes Scholars broke up so soon. They just ended in a fizzle by telling Booker and Teddy they mutually agreed to dissolve or whatever. Not a surprise but I expected it after Wrestlemania. I guess they were just a transitional feeder team for Hell No. Next feeder team is Mysterio/Sin Cara. I can see opening Wrestlemania match be those two teams with Bryan wearing a goat mask during the build up to fit in.
  7. Yeah, the Cena segment was odd announcing who he is going to challenge. Not that it was surprising. I was wondering if Rock would be in an elimination chamber match or not. Didn't think so since they'd want to keep Rock safe. I think I stand with you on RAW Hellpop. Most of RAW was just meh. Pretty much just the beginning and end were good. RAW Roulette and Slammys are gimmicks I look forward to that usually just end up not delivering it enough for me. Khali karaoke was horrible, but in a very entertaining way. I know Khali is on twitter but can he really read English? Tensai, well, hopefully bigger things are coming for him. How could you not predict the performance review outcome? Which of course will lead to that match at Wrestlemania. I didn't expect Undertaker to come out tonight, but am anxiously awaiting his arrival. I actually do like Fruity Pebbles and will look to find the Cena and Bam Bam cover. But I will only buy if it is on sale.
  8. JR should do commentary if that happens. "KOFI'S FLYING! KOFI'S FLYING! OH MY GAWD, KOFI'S FLYING!" But his entrance and shirt says that he can fly. So I guess this year's Kofi spot was a disappointment. Either way, can't beat John Morrison's Spidey spot.
  9. The one legged hop back into the ring strategy makes me think that when HBK almost got eliminated by the British Bulldog, did HBK mess up and he wasn't supposed to touch the floor? And the announcers covered it up by saying only one foot touched? It was after that moment that I realized as a kid, why doesn't everybody just do a one legged hop if they are almost out? Even if someone does do it, only a few people could probably pull the one legged hop off and not get boo'd by the internet for being lazy, like Jerry Lawler in his bad guy days and maybe Santino. So I guess Kofi gets the OMG or whatever Slammy for 2013 now.
  10. The Rumble is always a fun match just to see the surprises. Spoiler tags initiate! I have my nitpicks but overall, it was a good show and that is all that matters!
  11. You stole my line from my deleted post. Except that I think it'll be Hell No vs Rhode Scholars. It's a tradition anyway. Bryan gets screwed at every Wrestlemania.
  12. Apparently, my post was taken down for liking your Taker vs. Goatface match. But really, I think we lost all posts after a certain time yesterday as a couple of my posts were gone. Reiterating my deleted post about Ziggie not cashing in, Sheamus and Cena stopped him before the bell rang when he tried to cash in a few times. Plus, Big Show as champ doesn't make it very easy to want to cash in. Del Rio works well for me as a good guy mainly because of Ricardo. Ricardo sets the tone and gets me in a happy place. Without him, he would have probably taken a little longer to be accepted. Especially since the turn was almost out of nowhere and didn't make too much sense. When Miz and Del Rio turned, I thought Miz would do better and Del Rio would fail. But the opposite happened. Miz just naturally has that annoying edge (please stop using the Figure Four). But Del Rio, well, how can you not yell out with Ricardo when he says "AlbertoooOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Dellllll RrrrrrrrrriiiiIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
  13. Yay! So we can go ahead and break the place now, right? Hopefully no more little multiverse blackouts. Thanks MMMV staff! Although, I'd prefer seeing the "Service Unavailable" message than the "Fatal Error" message that was going on recently. Edit: Just noticed the warning points under my avatar. I want warning points! Gimme points!
  14. I was entertained by the Rock, but I agree that Punk won the battle. Too bad they cut Punk's promo and went into a commercial break. He was on a roll. Would have loved to see how Paul Heyman disappeared too. Finally their match is officially confirmed. Looking forward to it. However, it was hard to not notice the size difference between the two when they were face to face... Tyson Kidd is a workhorse.
  15. I like Spidey. I didn't plan to read the comic, but also didn't want to spoil myself until the issue hit. So after reading the spoiler articles, this is an intriguing development. But as for the way out of this... Either way, I hope this sticks for a while. Good or bad, I want to know how this journey goes!
  16. I would say this is the best RAW I've seen in a few weeks based solely on 3 matches: Rey/Goatface, Cena/Ziggler, Sheamus/Cesaro. That last one stole the show for me since it made Cesaro look tough. Santino was an entertaining champion, but Cesaro is bringing legitimacy back to the title. I was jumping out of my seat when he was about to go for the Neutralizer! As for the Shield, I was expecting some name like CSI. Shield just made me think Paul Heyman is going to wear an eyepatch in the future. Ambrose was the most intriguing of the 3, though. Between the interview and the voting results, wasn't it clear the results were an injustice?
  17. Welcome back! Their loss is our gain, I suppose. Maybe Shanester can hire you for here to clean up the place (I hear the MMMV bathroom is quite disgusting). Rest easy and enjoy the holidays!
  18. Cena is single now (or at least not married). He went through a divorce early this year or late last year or something. I think it was the TLC last year when he wasn't even on the card for the first time in a while. Supposedly was messy but not too many details leaked out to the public, as much of it shouldn't. I don't get where the scandal is going other than Vicky going to be replaced later by someone else (a good guy RAW GM?). Tamina Snuka is just fodder for AJ before she goes after Eve probably at Wrestlemania. Still confused if Cena is legitimately injured or not. I hope not as I'm looking forward to this feud, but even so, that dude needs some rest. I'm still getting used to Ryback showing weakness. I like it and did think it was impressive the 3 took him down in a back and forth fight. Wasn't sure if the Survivor Series ending was just a one-sided beat down or not. Just seemed the same to me at the time.
  19. Under Cena, right? So less than 15 days left on his title reign? I'm glad they made that poster to show off on Raw. Didn't realize no one will ever crack that top tier. Wow, that Hell No segment really caught my attention. Usually it is due to Hell No themselves but not this time. Titus O'Neil on commentary was just pure entertainment! It was a train wreck but a darn entertaining one! Washrag. Haha. I always loved him once he turned bad on NXT Redemption. Any time he gets on the mic, I always listen. Did it bother anyone else that the ending to Raw was very, very similar to Survivor Series?
  20. Well there was a surprise at the end...
  21. There probably won't be any surprises tonight. All champions will most likely retain. I always liked the traditional Survivor Series match too and I'm expecting it to be the highlight tonight. It feels rather tainted not being Team Punk vs Team Foley. But at least there's some intrigue to the match instead of a Ryback eliminating most of the other team scenario. Team Foley seems to be a powder keg ready to explode, especially with Miz. And will Rhodes or won't Rhodes? I'd rather have Ricardo replace him with Rhodes possibly doing a run-in to eliminate Kane and/or goatface. But yeah, Orton/Miz seems foreshadowed after the Ziggler/Miz feud. Probably will be a Orton/Miz/Ziggler feud to slowly build up Miz, slowly turn Orton (finally!), and give Ziggler more time to show off before he cashes in.
  22. Well, I'm going by the assumption that there will be a Punk/Rock feud with Rock winning the title then. But once he has the title, there's a short list of people who can seemingly beat him: Cena, HHH (inactive), Undertaker (inactive), Brock (inactive), and Punk. So if he becomes champ, it's pretty much Cena or Punk that takes the title away. Even if Brock wins the championship from Rock, Cena and Punk (to a lesser degree) are still the only legitimate contenders for the title. Maybe Cena is the most likely to get the title back in the end as it has been a while, but I'm still hoping Punk gets the rub from Rocky. Again, assuming Rock wins the title from Punk at some point.
  23. I wasn't surprised by anything in the Lawler segment. Come on, they even made fun of Lawler right after his mom died a while back (I think it was Cole during their feud?). And I haven't really noticed that Vicky isn't Ziggler's manager anymore. Yeah, she's the temporary GM but it didn't hit me until he said she was his former manager during Wednesday's Main Event. Very happy he is getting a lot of mic time now and not sharing with Vicky. At this point, it should be Team ADR vs Team Orton or Team Ziggler vs Team Miz and Foley should be the ref for the 3-way. And Foley doing the 3 count unwillingly for Punk would have been good future setup. That would have saved this mess for me, at least. But either way, Punk ain't going to lose. Maybe to Rock in the future (at RR or WM) but I'm sure Punk will take the title back from the Rock after his short stint in the media as the WWE Champ.
  24. Happy Birthday! I don't even remember why you ate that hat anymore, which is probably what you want.
  25. I am amazed that the WWE completely changed the Survivor Series main event. I was happy enough that the Survivor Series match had some importance and not just random guys thrown together with little at stake. Granted, nothing really was at stake with Punk and Ryback but it would have at least built up the feud a little. I'm more bitter because I was looking forward to a Ziggler/Cena feud. Yeah, sure it probably should have been the Punk/Cena/Ryback match from the start but I thought it was smart to bring Foley in as a temporary mouthpiece for Ryback. But Foley makes no sense now. That ref/Vicky/Vince segment was just a little tough to swallow. I hope that rogue ref doesn't get screwed in the end and just fizzles away slowly after Ryback eats him. I'd hate to see wasted talent get future endeavored by a bad management decision.
