I'm really looking forward to seeing the final Modern Batman. Heck, at the very least I just want to see prototypes for all of them. What I'm hoping for is more cool looking Batmans and his rogues gallery (Mr. Freeze!), more cool looking Supermans (Godfall, Red/Blue characters come to mind) and some of Superman's rogues gallery (Superboy Prime!). And if they can pull it off, Mr. Mxyzptlk!

Hey Neo. Welcome back... errr, yeah, you get the point. I pretty much agree with all the points Neo brought up (sorry, I was never a big fan of the Phoenix). I was disappointed in Angel and Sentinel, though I didn't know it was going to be in the movie. And Psylocke was there? Anyway, I don't want to dwell in the negatives since I really enjoyed this movie. What really surprised me was the Juggernaut. I thought he was going to be a forgettable lackey, but that one scene was awesome. Plus, I liked that hidden scene tease. I knew it was going to happen, just didn't know how it would happen. In the end, I left with a big smile on my face.

So August is when we'll get them. I've been going by AFX which lists them as a June release. http://www.shopafx.com/stfimise2set.html Oh well, I can wait a couple of months...

This might help you guys keep track of who is on whose side: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_civil_war In the beginning when Runaways/Young Avengers was solicited, I thought that the Young Avengers would be Pro-Registration since they seemed to want to be taken seriously and want to be trained while the Runaways would be Anti-Registration because, well, anything adults do is bad. But I don't think that's the case due to the preview pages of Civil War #2. Anyway, I remembered the confusing gesture Black Bolt made in the Illuminati Special. But I believe Bendis explained the scene so unless something changed, I believe Black Bolt is Anti. Whose side am I on? I'll be the guy in the middle instigating the fight!

It's summer con season and something just occurred to me. Are there going to be any exclusive minimates this summer? Did I miss the announcement or something? I'm going to be rather bummed if it's going to be a dry minimate summer. The new DC minimates and the next waves of Marvel Minimates come out in the fall, I believe, so I need something to bridge the gap! Please tell me there's something. Please...

Man, all listed are great choices and it's hard to pick one. I like all of them and I'm stumped on which one if I had to choose. But if I had to right now, my personal vote would be for the Bombermate (assuming it's considered a promo). I still remember the day I got it and how long my jaw was open when I first saw it. It was a labor of selfless love and I appreciate what that guy, wherever he is , did for those who got one. That minimate will always be my most cherished one.... after Spider-Man. j/k The ECCC are probably the most coolest looking ones, though. And I think the Red Cross ones are the only promo minimates that can best stand alongside all the Spider-Mans and Batmans since the Red Cross are superheroes. For what it's worth, the Dave's School Batman promo is pretty cool to me, even though it's just a rehash of an already made figure.

Was it always priced at $20? It better be darn good soap.
