My Iron Man didn't come in a baggie either and I was wondering the same thing about the hair piece too.

I'm mainly disappointed for retailers who will lose out in August. However, I don't particularly mind as long as the quality is still great. Yeah, I'm a little sad, but I'll get through this. Just like minimate delays, I see this as a financial break for me.

I found Iron Man and Captain America at a couple of TRU's in my area. For the Hulk, I called K-Marts near where my brother lives (since there doesn't seem to be any K-Marts left around here) and he got the last one at the only store that had them. Happy hunting!

I have a feeling that all of them are like this. The original Cap is on the left and the DVD Cap is on the right. I could barely tell if they looked okay or not at the store between the plastic case, the plastic window, and the plastic baggy all fogging the view up. But the other Cap left at the store was like this too. On another note, has anyone checked Sears Essentials if they have the Hulk figure? I looked up locations in my area on K-Mart's website, but when I got there, it was converted to a Sears Essential so I went in anyway (K-Mart and Sears merged a while ago). To my surprise, there was a tag that had a listing for it. It was something like "Ultimate Avengers 2 DVD w/ Hulk minima". But they were all regular DVDs and I checked another Sears Essentials store and they had the same thing. The employees didn't know a thing but for some reason, I don't think they will get it. Either way, my set is complete.

The Mutant Registration Act is different than the Superhero Registration Act, as explained from She-Hulk's perspective in the Daily Bugle Civil War newspaper special. She-Hulk was against the Mutant Registration Act, but is Pro-Superhero Registration. Her reasoning is that a mutant is born with powers that could enable him to be a superhero. However, a superhero chooses to become one by his own decision to be the first responder to a situation.

Same happened to me while I was using one of her legs to pull her out of the package. She was the first one I tried to take out and I took great care with the others afterwards. As for a fix, I just used a toothpick to take out the ball and superglued it back on and she looks fine now.

I'm sorry, I don't really follow what the item exactly is. Is it just a Lego Batman figure in a commemorative box? Either way, I'm interested! But I'm sure there's going to be a 1 person per item limit...

I think Banshee should come with an additional head to balance out that current one.

I'm with you JL, but I'll up you and hope they are somehow better! Has the ML line followed Marvel storylines, movies, etc. fairly closely? I never thought of getting a Planet Hulk for a while. This makes me want a minimate version now!

You may notice that there are NO figures on there at all. When that listing is updated again next week, then it will include the toys, clothes, and everything else bound for stores that week. I'm just going to avoid thinking that those two sets MIGHT be in stores and SDCC somehow. It'll save me some brain cells. However, I'll be dashing to the DC booth at SDCC to find out if they have it!

I want them to be packaged without twisty ties! Grrrrr!

I haven't built mine yet, unfortunately. But I had to have it to complete my collection.

My weekly email from my comic shop didn't have any Marvel Minimates listed for this week.

The only reason I got the set was for Onslaught, but the only redeeming figure for me was Pyro. He looks amazing in person. Loki was a letdown. I envisioned him with a young man's face, but they gave him a pruny face, no offense to old people though. Rest of the figures, I don't know what I'll do with them yet... Anyone got any firecrackers?

The headline on Yahoo's webpage ruined it for me... And I avoided the article on Newsarama all day. Oh well. Regardless, it was still a shocker while reading it through just a few moments ago. I only wish that they didn't put the 3rd to last and the 2nd to last page together. It would have built up more suspense for me if they put an ad inbetween. I'm looking forward to the possbilities now. One more surprising thing was seeing the Darktide DVD ad right before the shocking moment. I don't remember seeing the ad anywhere else in a comic, but I could be wrong. It was a double whammie for me.

Of everything that has been formally released to stores, I'm only missing the AFX Street Fighter Exclusives (Akuma and Ryu Player 2, Chun-Li and M. Bison Player 2) and the Maximates. I've been holding off to get the AFX exclusives at SDCC, but they emailed me back saying they will only have the Chun-Li and M. Bison set available. And the Maximates are out of my price range. If they were only poseable, maybe...

I always check that Monday at 2pm. I was a bit puzzled when I was looking at what I thought was next week's stuff and then noticed their delay message. Too bad they always list minimates on when the the rest of the country other than the west coast gets them. But I guess I can understand why they do that.
