I really agree with you Danny. Its practically pure profit for them. I can't understand what the hold-up is for them on the generics, but it must be serious. All I can figure is a lack of faith in their product.

I have a few Disney (Toy Story & Rocketeer) and some Star Wars. These figures are nicely detailed (in most cases), but are purely for display. They would never hold up as an actual action figure. They also seem to be hit or miss. Some are nicely made, others are pure shite.

Sounds like their focus is moving to Marvel Select and high end stuff like props and busts.

Yeah, I am a little biased when it comes to Hulk, but I have been hoping for a Planet Hulk figure. Wolverine & Iron Man are the poster children for this line. Has there been a wave without one of these two in it?

Marvel Legends have drawn DIRECTLY from comics. The latest Wal-Mart series should attest to that considering the popularity of New Avengers. They have also fashioned a few figures after movies. It would be hard to get better, but here is hoping they do. My fear is how easy it will be to get worse...
