  1. I'm thinking we should petition to get all 10 of these figures (although we don't really need another Spider-Woman). Also, am I the only one who would love more clear-colored figures? Apparently, due to the low percentages for "energy" forms of Captain Marvel or the Beyonder. Maybe we could get a box set of just clear-colored characters, such as Astral Projection Dr. Strange and "Energy" Wonder Man. Finally, a note to anyone yet to vote for their pick. Yes, that Spider-Man does look cool, but do we really need it made for THIS boxset? Knowing DSTs love for Spider-Man, we're bound to get a similar version sooner or later. Why not vote for someone we wouldn't get made otherwise?
  2. I'm curious, how many people would like a Wrecking Crew boxset (assuming, of course, that each character includes their weapon)? This definitely seems like something that continues to get mentioned, and something I'd personally love. As suggested by karamazov, it'd be smart to request something we would otherwise never see and I doubt a Wrecking Crew set would ever be considered under normal circumstances. Other boxsets I'd love: Young Avengers- Wiccan Patriot Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) Hulkling (with those cool wings) Avengers- Black Panther Mockingbird Yellowjacket Falcon Inhumans- Black Bolt Medusa Crystal Karnak or Gorgon Villains- Kang The Hood Arnim Zola Crimson Dynamo
  3. I got mine on Christmas Eve, which made my night (before I had to go to work, haha). Thanks to all involved with this surprise, you're all awesome! Here's a pic of the new jewel in my collection, a Santa Skrull Bullseye!
  4. So I'm still trying not to look at the spoiler thread. But has anyone in the US received their secret mate yet? (Sorry if this has been answered in the spoiler thread, but I don't trust myself to not look at the pictures haha).
  5. I, too, have a golden ticket... er, I mean, won a "secret" mate. Thanks again Shane and Limited Edition!
  6. Thanks Limited Edition. You guys are fantastic!
  7. Hi all, I'm looking for some figures to be made, and I'd like to see if anyone here would like to help me out. I'm not talented enough to make decent customs myself, but I'd really like some figures of the Dark Horse series The Umbrella Academy. I'd like to negotiate the price individually with anyone interested (I really don't have a lot of money to offer for these, but I hope some of these figures might offer the customizer some satisfaction in completeing). I'm looking for the 6 main members of the Umbrella Academy (Spaceboy, the Kraken, the Rumor, the Seance, 05, and the White Violin). My computer is being temperamental, so I'll try to upload some pictures later. Thanks a lot!
  8. I actually got really lucky with these. Shortly after fellow members announced these were coming out (which I never would have known otherwise, considering I've never bought Kubrick before), I found that a UK site called Forbidden Planet had these for pre-order. They had them listed by individual figure, instead of blind boxed, and even had the variants for the same price (which was a little over $8). I figured "why not?" and preordered Charlie, Desmond, and Ben. Then I completely forgot about them. About two weeks ago, I finally get charged for this order. And then today I get all three figures with only the boxes opened, bag unopened. Long story short, I got both of the Lost variants for about $20 shipped from the UK. I'm not sure if that website still has all of the Lost Kubrick for sale, but I'd suggest anyone interested in these figures to consider checking it out. Also, thanks again members of this site for sharing their knowledge of collectibles. I would definitely be "Lost" without you guys. Ha, thats so punny... I'm sorry, I'll stop with these horrible jokes haha.
  9. Unfortunately, I'm guessing you're going to have to wait longer than that. I preordered both new Marvel movie sets from there and still haven't received them. It seems like they haven't received their shipment yet. Shortly after others on this site received their mates from other sources, I sent CSC an e-mail asking about their status of the figures. They said they were expecting them within a week, but it's been at least 2 now. I know they can't necessarily be blamed for a late shipment, but it's still left an impression on me. I doubt I'll order from there again, since I would gladly have payed a little more to have these figures by now. Here's hoping I'll be surprised with a package from them within the next week.
  10. IGN. Here's a link. And as for a Black Hulk, I'm betting its going to be Joe Fixit. That's pretty likely. Thanks a lot Trekker, I appreciate it. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I'm getting pretty anxious to find out what Ultimatum is exactly. I can't really find any connecting threads between the 'March on Ultimatum' titles (though I have a feeling Scarlet Witch will somehow be involved in it, even though she's dead).
  11. neo, I just wanted to comment on a couple things you mentioned. One, I agree that it is an awesome cover to issue 6, though I wish they showed more of an interaction between those three. Two, I can't remember the issue number, but I remember reading that sometime soon, either Mighty or New Avengers (probably Mighty), was going to be following Fury's group more Pre-SI. I think it mentioned team training or something, which could be really cool. Hopefully this also gives us more of a background on these characters. Finally, *spoiler* regarding the conversation between Pym and Spider-Woman, this is my guess as to what will happen. In Mighty Avengers, pre-invasion, they showed "Hank" giving the Wasp that new formula that let her also grow instead of just shrink. If I remember correctly, they actually showed that more than once, in at least two different issues. I'm guessing that this was more than just an "enhanced" version of her old powers. Maybe some kinda of Nitro-esque explosion in the future? *end spoiler* I know I'm going to get a lot of crap about this comment, but honestly, I'm not a fan of the Wasp. Yes, I know she was a founding Avenger, and yes, I'm sure she has some redeeming qualities, but I just don't like her. It seems like she's always screwing with Hank (although I suppose wife-beating would warrant some of that). I guess she just reminds me a little too much of an ex of mine. That being said, I wouldn't mind at all if the Wasp died in some fiery explosion.
  12. Where did you read that UFF and UXM were gonna be ending after Ultimatum? This doesn't really disappoint me, considering both have been steadily going downhill for some time, but I hadn't seen that mentioned before. Here's hoping Ultimate Avengers ships more regularly than Ultimates ever has.
  13. Thanks Chazwinski and Fo Shizzle. I love getting Marvel history lessons, haha.
  14. YES! I would absolutely buy any and all Lost minimates. I'd probably buy multiple sets, to pass some along to people interested in the show but who don't know about minimates. Is there anyway to let DST know that there is interest in this license, or do we just cross our fingers and hope for it?
  15. I've been reading Marvel since shortly after Avengers: Disassembled, so I don't know anything about Mockingbird (other than what's been mentioned in Secret Invasion). It looks like she was Hawkeye's love interest, but what made her an Avenger? More specifically, when was she an Avenger, does she have any powers, how did she die, etc. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. Since I don't know much about Mockingbird, I'm one of the people that actually prefers Jewel to Mockingbird for this boxset. However, that might change when I find more out about the character.
