  1. I'm working on few random projects but my big project right now is the entire (well 99% of I guess) cast of "All-Star Batman and Robin", I love that comic so much (say what you will about it, it's just plain funny to read!) I wanted the cast in mini-mate form. Right now my standing is: Finished: -the Goddamn Batman (Big chested, comes with a bleach bottle) -two thugs who've burst into flames (one transparent, one opeque... waiting for the Punisher war zone set so I can make that generic thug in the starting stages of being set on fire) -'the Hood' (Robin's first attempt at a hero costume rejected by Batman since any criminal with half a brain would just pull the hood over his eyes) -Green Lantern with hot dog (and now a sculpted ring) -Jack-o Boy (the man who killed Robin's parents, just a civilian wolverine with riot spider-man head) -Plastic Man (even though he's never appeared in 'human' form) -Alfred -Gordon -Jimmy Oslen Almost finished, just needs decals/paints: -topless Joker -Nazi woman I'm not sure has a name -Robin (actual Robin) -Batgirl (although I could use a BTTF1 skateboard to really complete her) -Black Canary -Catwoman -Superman -Wonder Woman -Mutant Leader (he's not in ASBR, but since DKR is in the same cannon I'm working on him too) -DKR Batman (eldery goddamn Batman) Needs Parts: -Suit Joker (needs: Spirit's fedora) -'Going Out' Vikki Vale (needs: chick in the white dress from the Spirit set) Considering being made, not sure if I'm going to: -Pajama Dick Grayson (since he spends 80% of comics 3 through 8 in his pajamas) -Boxer shorts Alfred (since it was a weird scene) -Underwear Vikki Vale (it's what people remember most about issue #1... that and poor writing that had yet to find it's hilarity) -DKR Joker -Black Canary's boss (if I can find another X3 beast, their heads are just too similar to not make this)
  2. I was thinking they could use the same concept as Iron-Monger to bulid a really nice sized Hulk: -Over the chest is an extra bulky chest piece -Over the upper arm is a bicept add on piece (Monger doesn't have this piece, but Mark 1 does) -Over the lower arms are Thing style fist -Over the waist is a 'diaper' piece that looks his pants adding some height -Over this upper legs is a thigh piece that's sculpted to look like his torn shorts -Over this lower legs are 'feet-boots' similar to what Move Abomination was to have (hopefully with normal toes and not duck feet) That would fit into AA's wanting of all mini-mates to have interchangeable parts since he's still a 2 inch mate under all that plus they could throw in an extra set of normal arms and make Hulks head a DCD style mask and make Bruce Banner a bonus figure under all that stuff.
  3. No mask peg, Obidah's head is hole free. Unrelated but when does the 'Hostle Takeover' set come out? I used the Tony Stark suit for unarmored Obidah and now I needs me a civilian Tony.
  4. I *really* dislike Ace of Cakes (does he tell people the cakes are 90% rice crispy and wooden dowels? also, they never really talk about how they taste, they just show the reactions to the cake's look) and more so I dislike Duff But I really like this set for fodder. It's got cakes, power tools, a nice blank mate... I'd definately buy it. Especially if there's any chance that it succeeding could lead to more Food Network Mates (Alton Brown and Guy Fieri would translate well into a set like Duff's with lots of extra random accessories, Bobby Flay would be nice if he came with a mini-mate scale grill, and a Giada mini-mate would just be adorable!)
  5. I'm gonna need 4 abomb's then Awesome, but wouldn't four of these guys (or Nightcrawler I guess if you're super super rich and can throw that kind of cash around for hands and feet) be needed to get really accurate turtles?: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;picture=out
  6. Try moving the head, hands, and feet to a different body that doesn't require a coat piece (like Professor X maybe) because his coat keeps his hair piece from lining up properly it makes his face look off and without the coat he has a bare chest and sleeves. Moving him to a different body let's the hair sit proper and improves the look quite a lot, I think the face decal is actually a very strong likeness of Kelsey Grammer (probably one of the better likenesses in the wave)
  7. I don't like they felt the need to make two Hannibals in the set. (they can pretend all that want but "Dr.Lector" and "Hannibal the Cannibal" are not two different 'people', they aren't even "two sides to the same whole", Dr. Lector is always brillant AND crazy. If they had say "Lector in his suit from 'Hannibal'" and "Lector in the iconic gurney gear from SotL" as the two Lectors I could see the reasoning, but as it they're one angry guy in an orange suit and that same guy in a blue suit having calmed down) I do however like this set has so many wonderful accessories for Dr. Lector (or is it "Hannibal the Cannibal" who comes with the jacket, gurney, and mask?) and that it exist... if this is a $12 set like the "For A Few More Dollars" set it's a must own for me! If it's more... well I'll still buy it but really wish they had just made a cheaper "Hannibal with cool stuff/Clarice" 2-pack instead.
  8. I'd much rather the Dan/Blanka set be released, since I like Dan better then Ken and the Dan/Blanka set made more sense the Ken/Blanka set (see Dan and Blanka are old friends and cannonically have wacky adventures together. Where as Ken and Blanka share no link) of course at this point I'd take the Ken/Blanka set just to get Blanka...
  9. That's really cute, and a lot more fun then any offical playset would likely be.... I especially did the magnodoodle-esque computer screen. The kids can customize the screen to the mission they've just made up! So cool!
