This is my first mmmv birthday thread, so I must say it hugely appreciated. Thanks all, I've been having a lovely day, and yes... lots to drink. Luckily I've had the combined present thing, seems my friends and family know me well, as its all been fines, comics and a load of lovely minimates (UM Mummy, SDCC Rick Grimes set, Thundercats mutants and worthy & mighty sets). God bless, only a couple of hours left, so I'm off to enjoy them.

Any been playing Dishonoured? Good fun game, somewhere between Bioshock and Assassin's Creed. There are also lots of different plots and endings depending on the decisions you make, certainly enjoying myself.

it did just dawn on me that there is a pretty big 'spoons right by Tottenham court rd, which is also pretty close to a certain Forbidden Planet. Just a thought. ... right now, I'm thinking anywhere but Leicester Sq.

Iron Man is the... yeah, I'd like the Gold/Black Iron Man armour.

is it just the 3 of us? as us UK folk know, London is a big ol' city, so there are certainly many areas I'm not completely up to speed on, despite living here for 20 years. I'm going to have a look now, I suppose it would be nice to avoid an overtly tourist area (as they'll be nowhere to sit and/or hear each other speak), but somewhere fairly central seems important.

That tumbling wave wave was the best thing about that trailer for me. The zombie running on the rooftop was the same thing we've all seen countless times, but that wave was horrific, even more detached as it was all arms and legs, parts we recognise as human but aren't comfortable seeing flying around so. It did also make sense, sort of, taking the physics into account. They moving quickly, in huge numbers, none of whom are in complete control of their own bodies... I think they would end up like that, and it did disturb me, so... I approve. Plus, what it is you guys have, black friday? We've all seen the pictures.

i'm definitely in... it would be cool/helpful to get a vague idea of numbers. also, anywhere in London is fine by me, so lets those with ideas or preferences speak up first.
