  1. You would think that they would bring Star Trek mates back with the new movie and everything.
  2. That seems kind of odd to me, but that Joker figure would be cool to have as just a mini-statue.
  3. I have the remastered first season and it's pretty good. The new special effects are good and the new cleaned up film is so clear and colorful that it makes the old DVDs look like some old VHS video. The second season just came out and I'll probably be getting that in a few months too.
  4. I like the new method they started with the Star Trek line where they have 2 TOS, 2 Movie, 2 From another series, and one variant. Personally, I still want a Romulan from TOS.
  5. I agree, these Trek mates are getting better and better! I was also getting kind of tired of all the Kirks, but if there is one Kirk that I want, it's the green tunic Kirk.
  6. Decker does look kind of like McCoy. A sort of young academy McCoy, like the new guy who's going to play him.
  7. Yes, the kit does not go completely around and some people have gotten another to build a full bridge. I didn't for filming reasons.
  8. I can't believe that they're moving on to TNG and DS9 before giving us a TOS Romulan, Salt Vampire, or Lt. Arex.
  9. I'm glad they gave Spock his Vulcan "harp like" instrument.
  10. I don't think any other models were made for the other bridges.....?? Guess we'll have to make 'em from scratch. Well if you're forced to do that, then don't forget that "if it can be dreamed, it can be built."
  11. My God! Star Trek! Star Wars! and now Indiana Jones! This seems like it's going to be an exciting and expensive year.
  12. That sounded like a pretty cool and fair idea, so here's a picture of what you described.
  13. As a matter of fact, it seems almost as if the chairs were built for minimates because they fit perfectly. And as for figures, the model came with Kirk, Spock, and Sulu (although I think the Sulu figure looks more like Bones). I didn't bother painting them now, however I might later on. Sorry there is no Uhura to get an earpiece off of.
  14. I've noticed that a lot of people have been wanting to display their Star Trek Minimates, so I bought the Amt Enterprise Bridge Model Kit made in 1992. After I got it at ebay, I quickly began to build it. Although, there is very little to really build at all. So I guess I should say that I began to paint it right away. And after I did that I had to put on the decals (which was a stressfull experience). However, after I put it all together and put my mates in it looked pretty cool (even though it's not the full 360 degrees). So for all of you out there who like Star Trek as much as me, here are some completely unedited pics (except for the blue around the viewscreen). By the way, you may notice some space between the stations because I did not glue them together in the event that I may want to move them around later.
  15. I've seen a lot of people express their opinions about what the next wave of Star Trek minimate should be, so I thought it would be a good idea to express my opinion for wave 4. Here's my idea: -Green Tunic Kirk and Andorion -McCoy in Medical short sleeve tunic and Nurse Chapel -Charlie X and Yeoman Rand -Lt. Arex and variant Scotty in dress uniform. I know that Diamand Select Toys probably wouldn't be able to make Lt. Arex, but I thought it was a cool idea. I'd like to know what you think. And just for fun, I made this Star Trek Wallpaper for anyone who likes it. I hope I uploaded it correctly since this is my first time posting.
