I doubt DST would stray too far from the big guns, Snake eyes, Destro, and Cobra commander  and since its been strongly hinted that it was a Cobra, i can see Dst might try to slip by a hooded CC using the basic minimate head as a "safe" hooded version only to have Hasbro catch it at the last minute

not great ,ive made a few small items, tried to make a few others that didnt turn out well, but havent really had a lot of time to devote to figuring it all out to be honest.

well the figures are.

i had to see for myself so i picked up the Awestriker Surveillance Patrol  set and they are horrible;

the plastic quality of the figures is that of the old "green army men"

the bricks themselves are a  little better quality maybe megablok level but certainly not lego

the clutch power of the bricks is lacking and the designs are laughable.

the vehicles(most) are definitely not in scale with the figs not even lego "minifig scale" hell the figure cant even fit on the 3 piece  motorcycle that is meant for him to ride

so you've said before that the "expensive cardboard" of the upcoming (maybe?) Gi joe set is NOT responsible for the price increase of the set, yet you state here that the going rate for a mate in a blister is $7.50 (and those usually have accessories) seems to me the cardboard of the joe set is costing us $10 seems pretty "expensive" to me

I think this as another(the final?) nail in the Minimate coffin, i really dont see retailers carrying mates that they need to sell at $10 each
