    Is anyone checking Diamond CS emails?

    I unfortunately opened my TRU Wolverine/Reaper and had a broken Logan.

    I emailed CS asking if I could purchases a replacement or anything and got no response. I sent the email almost 2 weeks ago.

    In the past I've had a response in a day and was curious if anyone knows of another way to contact Diamond. I'd go buy a new one but there are no more online and my store didn't get the wave.

    Thanks for anyone who can point me int he right direction.

    Is it just me? Or are the prices going up on preorders. BBTS wants $18 for each new box set. Creeping up little by little. I guess if prices go up due to costs, its something we got to live with. Just as long as the quality doesnt drop as prices prices rise (Hasbro).

    I order the box sets through DCBS and get the standard 30% discount so I have been paying around 15 for the packs.

    TRU Distribution: Are we helping or hindering?

    MY TRU have the usual clogs of unwanted figures but for the past few years they have carried every wave and recently in the past year they get them before TRU.com, they used to get them up to a month after the website, which had me ordering more online than in store. I've since switched back to in store purchases to support the store.

    MY TRU has done well with minimate sales, especially Ghostbusters, the manager told me they could never keep a wave in and was constantly requesting restocks.

    The only series they skipped were the Battle Beasts, never saw a single pack. I'm not surprised as the MAX line and Calico Jack didn't do well either, I really think I was they only one to buy those before being clearanced.

    I don't think our buying pattern affect them that much even if we pick up for buddies, employees there have told me they get whatever TRU sends them and they can only request restocks. I don't know how often they update case shipment based on restocks but unless you are wiping them out of every figure each visit I don't think we are hurting them.

    What I would love is for TRU to feature minimates in an ad or special. They are an exclusive line and should be given as much of a push as the GI Joe Kreos or other exclusives they have. Every young kid in my family I've introduced minimates to has loved them, especially the Halo and Iron Man figures. I just think TRU needs to advertise them more. Hell Kreos have a sub section on the website, at least give minimates their own.
